Kendrick ain't have to respond, that's the thing. Even though he got merked on the Control responses, all 3 of the Joes you mention still ain't as relevant as Kendrick is combined right now, and I'm a Joe Budden fan. LolI would have said K. Dot but after the Control verse too many people went back at him hard body. King Los' shit was one of the best but I won't count that cause Los didn't really fire back.
Joel Ortiz, Joe Budden, and Joey Bada$$ had the best responses in actually coming at Kendrick. But Kendrick didn't really respond back when I believe he had to. To add on, Schoolboy Q and Kendrick denied talking about Drake in the cypher when we all know he was. So that really brought him down. TDE Doing their shit though.

yeah kendrick didnt have to response, shit he got what he wanted!!!! this literally changed his rap direction to more hardcore, everyone thought he was soft since poetic justice lol, kendrick didn't need to respond cuz he was saying step yo game up and nows your chance, who ever respond the best will get the attentionThe verse was made for Papoose, dude. I don't know why Kendrick thought Los had the best response for the life of me.
Also Papoose's response was one of the best too.
They're not really mainstream that's why. To be honest, I just think that the underground shits on mainstream period. Beast Coast and I'm saying that because of their lyrical prowess and because I'm a New York native. LolKendrick ain't have to respond, that's the thing. You misplaced your yu-gi-oh cards nigga, or...? Drake established himself as the leader of the new school and ain't nobody take that away from him yet. Not even close, either.j-cole always have deep videos lol, and basically, if you think about it guys, its who have the hype to estimate there future years in the light, sorry but drake lost that two years ago, now its people like kendrick and j cole time to "take over", we can estimate drake numbers, but can we guess Kendrick?!!! thats the point![]()
Thought about it more, and it's Drake. Sure, Kendrick had the Control verse that pretty much stirred up the rap game along with pretty much all the Hip Hop fans around the world, but that's really it. I mean, he got a few features in, a nice cypher, and some grammy nominations, but that's not saying very much. J Cole dropped 2 EP's, arguably his best album thus far, and even got a rap legend Nas to remix his song in response, but after that...? Nothing. The question was, who consistently left a mark in your mind throughout the entire year, and in my opinion, that was Drake. Drake dropped a damn near classic of an album, DOMINATES radio play, grammy nominations, dropped hit after hit after hit records throughout the year, one of the most streamed artists of 2013 along with Jay and Em, Versace Versace Versace Versace, got features with Jay, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake... Like the list goes on and on throughout the course of the entire year.... I've said it multiple times on this forums and I'll say it again because niggas hate on him for stupid reason; Drake is running shit! Stop sleeping.I'm talking who left a mark in your mind the most, and by that I mean consider the ENTIRE year.
