Do you guys think "rape" is part of human nature? Other male primates rape female primates all the time. The male primates that do the raping are the ones who do not possess the physical features that attract females. Much like humans.

For example, the male peacock has that large and colorful tail to attract mates. While other males do not possess physical traits to attract the female. You can ignore the text in the image I couldn't find an image of both genders together.

no... rape isn't "natural." The inherent necessity to procreate is natural. Therefore so is the associated desire that comes with it. Animals generally don't have rules, laws, or moral compass (in the same way we do) so they do as they please.

So basically, if you really wanna simplify things and gloss over the facts a bit, the desire to "rape" (or commit sexual acts with a prospective mate that may or may not reciprocate) can be linked to a natural impulse and basic human need. But the act of rape, isn't natural at all.

But in all honesty, i'd wager, there are vastly more men/women that fantasize about majority of all sexual acts being consensual so even that previous statement is a little off but that's about as close to agreement to OT as I can get.

In my opinion..human rape and animals rape aren't the same thing after you consider how our minds are more complex than other animals, we have all these feelings and emotions. humans would feel tormented by experiencing rape, there fore humans have a reason to fear it, idk if animals fear rape or are even tormented by the experience.

I wouldn't even say the desire is natural, though I get what you're trying to say. While most people do desire to procreate, even fantasize about *** with someone they're attracted to. Few think about forcing someone.

That stems from something not natural. A perversion of your natural desire.

Most animals have their brains, hearts and genitals almost on the same level. Humans changed the posture and got up on their legs- taking brains on highest and the genitals way down. People may as well use their priorities in the same order and use the brains for better ideas than just being guided by other lower instincts.
