Politicians in India are supporting rape. :|
It's funny how they look at women even tho their country is considered as the 'biggest democracy' Lol

That doesn't surprise me. India has some crummy views on social/moral issues.

And yet, I have this weird, almost ethereal link to the place.

Politicians here are A grade retards

Selfish greedy people only caring for their vote banks and when the vote bank is minority it reaches just another plane of retardants. Be it Mamata or Mulayam but it's hardly limited to India.

A scandal rocked England last week, when a report revealed that town authorities knowingly covered up the systemic abduction and rape of young British girls (and a few boys) in the town of Rotherham.

The report showed that town officials knew this was going on for the better part of 16 years (1997-2013), but that no action was taken at any point during that time.

The Elm Guest House child abuse scandal arose from claims of sexual abuse and grooming of children at parties held at the former Elm Guest House in Rocks Lane, near Barnes Common in South West London during the late 1970s and 1980s. Prominent British men are alleged to have attended the Guest House including former government ministers, senior MPs, top police officers, judges, pop stars, and people with links to the royal household

The Socialist Workers Party was engulfed in crisis tonight over allegations that it set up a “socialist sharia court” to investigate rape allegations against a senior member instead of reporting them to the police.

The scandal, which has opened up deep splits within Britain’s largest far-left party, emerged this week when disaffected members leaked minutes of a controversial disciplinary meeting which exonerated the official accused of rape and sexual assault.

80s are being investigated by police.

Labour MP John Mann has handed evidence on 22 politicians including three serving MPs and three members of the House of Lords to police.

Mr Mann, whose list includes 13 former ministers, said: “There are at least five paedophile rings which involved MPs.

In January 2013, the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), Office for National Statistics (ONS) and Home Office released its first ever joint Official Statistics bulletin on sexual violence, entitled An Overview of Sexual Offending in England and Wales.

It reported that:

Approximately 85,000 women are raped on average in England and Wales every year
Over 400,000 women are sexually assaulted each year
1 in 5 women (aged 16 - 59) has experienced some form of sexual violence since the age of 16.

We have every right to get angry at our politicians but it's funny when people from other country try to take high moral ground with that kind of cases at their own hands and political involvements and cover ups of that kind and question our moral or social values.

And it's also quite funny how fast the topic changed to India when original topic was something different.

aand what about people?
I have observed that when there was that infamous Delhi gangrape, people were more concerned about she having a boyfriend, she going out at night rather than that a person was raped, talking like she deserved it.

I don't think rape gonna give equality that reasonable women ask for like freedom to have their own opinions, equal rights of education and paid for their hard work like any hard working man ( personally i do believe it would be better if everyone been paid for effort they put in than the gender ) etc .

and probably there's unreasonable ones out there that make even these reasonable ones to be flagged in to the same category and it won't be good, if i talked about India alone but it's has been discussed in South Asian region and in the world as the rape incidents has been appearing in media ( probably they over did it to a point it seems rape = India ) and what the real reasons behind these incidents has not been discussed or rarely been discussed as the punishments that should be given to the rapists and i didn't covered everything as this is a deeper matter than this maybe it's not a one matter but few that is interconnected .
