[Discussion] Ranton: Laser Circus's abilities?

[Naruto.]

We've seen Darui use Ranton: Reizā Sākasu, aka Storm Release: Laser Circus against the Kin/Gin brothers. I don't really see what the attack did? He just released it as an energy beam. Though, I remember him using a Water/Lightning combo against Sasuke and it electrocuted Sasuke. Similarly, what are the offensive abilities of Laser Circus?

Ranton Lightning Circus are basically guided rockets. Here you see the lasers bypass Samui to blast one of them.

This as well. Water Style allows it to "flow free" unlike regular Lightning.

that jutsu kind of sucks. Or at least the way Darui has been using it. We all know Edo Bodies arent as strong as organic bodies, and all laser circus managed was to push him back.

against sasuke he used suiton sujinheki (water wall) and then Raiton Kangekiha. that was a pretty badass move. Lasercircus is guided.

Or because if he put more power into it he would have risked hurting Samui badly in the resulting explosion......

Think of it this way.... When Darui shot it at Madara when the alliance arrived where Naruto was he chose to absorb it rather than block/reflect/dodge. He only uses the Preta Path to absorb very powerful jutsu i.e. Dust Release, Rasenshuriken, and apparently Laser Circus now. I fear it wont be fully explored like hundreds of other jutsu because Darui is not a main character. Thats just what Kishi does.
