It was a nice episode. The first half kinda established Boruto's hate for Naruto during the movie and the other half was about the Ototsuki Lore. Don't know why 123fire hates this episode. It teased a tiny bit of the original plot of this show and I'm hyped to see if the cave next episode truly is Madara's old cave.

According to naruto 2-3 places that are connected to Kaguya were already discovered on earth. I think the Ototsuki plot is moving on finally.

Just got done watching it and yeah, that is definitely Madara's cave, hence the White Zetsu there. I doubt T7 will run into Sasuke though, and they may just see remains of what he was up to in that cave. TBH I thought the white monster would be Kinishiki (massive footprints, 2 meters tall). Still, so damn glad we're finally getting some plot progression.

I have to say though, it's very heavy handed how they're trying to portray the Zetsu as being strong, especially for the anime's version of Konohamaru after that massive Wind Rasengan.

Didn’t madara find the zetsus in the cave though, like I remember them saying madara made them, but then we find out later they where remnants of the last IT iirc
