You don't know what the hell you're talking about. I just told you why your lame ass post wasn't making any sense and now you come back with this.

Sanji stalled against Vergo and lost vs Doflamingo, big whoop. No one in the crew would've gotten a better result besides Luffy.

Besides Sanji has been protecting them just fine, no one is hurt yet and if you want to blame someone blame nami and chopper.

Sanji's only option is to diplomatically solve the problem, what you seem to forget is that this is a flashback and we already know that Nami and Chopper are fine. So he pretty much did what you're asking from him right ?

The year of Sanji is ecactly 1 chapter old, and you're already shitting on it. You're the most impatient little douche I've seen in this section for a long time. Stop making bullshit threads or post stupid things if you don't have any arguments. Now you just look stupid.
He sprained his ****ing leg, his main weapon against Vergo with one kick and didn't stand any chance against Doflamingo. Now Capone is out here exposing him and the way this is going he's only going to get shitted on more. You're nothing but a butthurt Sanji fanboy who can't handle the fact that he's been garbage ever since timeskip compared to Luffy and Zoro.

Piss off I was wondering when you were going to play the Sanji fanboy card.

Just because you're shitting on Sanji for no reason at chapter 1 of a new arc doesn't make me a fanboy for calling you an impatient mingy prick.

Against Vergo he didn't get the time to go all out and Zoro wouldn't do any better against Doflamingo, so once again you're argumentation is complete bullshit.

As for Sanji not living up to the expectation ever since the timeskip, well that's not really that hard when he was absent for 1.5 years.

But now it's the year of Sanji so we will be compensated more than enough, too bad you're too salty to enjoy it. It will be a tough year to downplay him for you. But hey at least you started right and started moaning after the first 10 panels Sanji was in this year.

Hats off to you. And you were right, all those Zoro feats in Dressrosa. Oh boy he has become so good at cutting stone, I don't think Sanji can ever catch up to his level any more.

Zoro pushed back Fujitora who is stronger than Doflamingo which Doflamingo himself couldn't do with a kick that he blocked the same way. Zoro has been a boss since day 1 unlike Sanji. Yeah you're a Sanji fanboy because you keep making ridiculous excuses for him and can't admit he sucks. I'm not bashing on him for no reason, he deserves to get bashed. There is nothing he will be able to do in Big Mom's presence during this wedding when he couldn't even fight off Capone. Get your head out of your ass.

They were surrounded in a ****ing ambush. Enticing violence would be a stupid move, especially when Nami, Chopper, and Brook weren't even supposed to be in that area.

That only happened because Sanji's body was critically wounded.

Zoro would have been ****ed up by Doflamingo just as badly as Sanji was.

Lets just say Zoro and Luffy have set the bar pretty high.

Zoro trained with Mihawk for two years and Luffy with Raleigh. Two of the most OP characters in one piece.
Sanji ran for two years. The irony. Hes just not as strong.

Just becasue this is the year of Sanji doesnt mean anything. He might have been able to clutch in terms of being smarter than Luffy and Zoro but in terms of raw power both of them are way stronger.

Im thinking this is going to be like a Robin type scenario. Capone will most likely agree to let the others go. Sanji comes as well as ceaser. And then thats that. This chapter was plot. Simple as that.

If youre arguing Capone is worth 300 mill well so is Pekoms and he just got wrecked. Soo thats an invalid argument. Sanji the prince and Robin the devils child.

Luffy? Definitely. Zoro? Not at all. Zoro hasn't done anything super spectacular that sets him above Sanji since the timeskip.

That's actually the best possible kind of training for Sanji. What matters is not their teacher. Just because Rayleigh is stronger than Ivankov doesn't mean a student of the latter got inferior training to the student of the former. Strength isn't vicarious. Luffy's training is only as good as Luffy is. Same as with Zoro and Sanji. The gap between Zoro and Sanji wasn't that high, so the quality of their training wouldn't have that higher a gap either.

Training where Sanji is running for a year is the best kind of training he can get, as his fighting capabilities revolve around his legs and his speed. That kind of training is gonna boost his strength dramatically.

Just becasue this is the year of Sanji doesnt mean anything. He might have been able to clutch in terms of being smarter than Luffy and Zoro but in terms of raw power both of them are way stronger.
Again, Luffy, sure. But Zoro hasn't displayed any feats that suggest this. Even then, raw power isn't all it takes to win a fight. Even if Zoro has island busting abilities, there's still durability, speed, stamina, and yes, intelligence, that all play a role. So while Zoro can drop mountain-cutting slashes and Sanji can't drop mountain-busting kicks, that still doesn't mean Sanji can't withstand them. It doesn't mean Sanji can't avoid them with speed. It doesn't mean Sanji can't gravely injure Zoro. Area of effect also doesn't necessarily mean stronger. Zoro's flying slashes are his power spread out throughout an area, while Sanji's kicks are his power in a focused, precise strike. It's fully possible for Sanji's kicks to pack the same overall power as Zoro's slashes, and have a smaller area of effect.

I knew this thread would have derailed into a monster trio power level comparison as always lol
What's the point of giving baseless claims to defend Sanji?
One of the grievances about Sanji expressed in this thread is how his performance appears lackluster in comparison to Zoro. This is argument. By substituting Zoro into the same situation that Sanji was in, and seeing how well Zoro would have done, which isn't much better, it dismisses the notion that Sanji's performance was lackluster in comparison to Zoro.

All i'm saying is that you have no proof whether or not Zoro would have done better

Lets say Zoro was in the same situation or Luffy. Hit first ask questions later correct? Before they were even surrounded Sanji spotted Capone. Meaning he could have struck first before even being surrounded. Sanji underestimated the enemy and therefore it led to that situation.

Wow... OP's bias towards brutes is ridiculous, the guy thinks Chopper isn't worth shit,
completely ignoring his role as a medic, calling Chopper useless AND equates Sanji's
smarts to nothing.

Guns are definitely still a big threat as well considering this happened:

Captain Bege obviously isn't a pushover either, not even sure how you've come to the conclusion that
Sanji should be able to stomp him when there's tons of guns pointed towards him and his crewmates.

That's not what happened at all though.

Sanji said let's talk in private, not in front of the minks and my weaker crew mates. He even explained himself that he wanted to patch things up with the BM pirates since Luffy declared a fight and Sanji damaged their ship.

So it's Nami and Chopper who blew that situation up.

I can't imagine a situation if Zoro was on that balcony and spotted Pekoms and Bege down there. There is no way he would've just jumped down and started cutting them without warning. That's super out of character.

So no, that's not correct.

This man sharing fan-art like it's canon manga pages
Not far from what happened with him in a dress with Ivankov's crew.

Sanji wasn't facing Capone, he was facing fodder with guns.
They might aswell have been the marines.

Only similarity is being in a dress

Who were holding his crewmates hostage. Also, fodder with guns and swords were able to harm Whitebeard with the proper jump. If they can do that to WHITEBEARD, then with the proper leverage, they could do much worse to any StrawHat. Just look at what happened when Caesar was able to jump Luffy because he was going gun-ho. Or when the Yeti brothers jumped Sanji, Zoro and Brook. Y'all's pants were throbbing when Zoro yelled at Luffy for charging enemies without thinking in Punk Hazard, but rant when Sanji lived the advice Zoro gave??? Y'all are being so retarded when looking at this situation.

They trained for 2 years so they wouldn't get in these kinds of situations with top tiers and now you want me to ok with the fact that they're being powerless against ****ing Capone and his mostly fodder crew?

Mfw nothing wrong with that.

Getting in situations like this is unavoidable. Doesn't matter how strong you are, even Whitebeard was susceptible to being jumped.

I'm really glad people posting like you aren't writing this story, since apparently you want the SHs to punk any top tiers they come across. That would be an incredibly lame and boring story. The Strawhats encounter people close to their level? No, let's not have them engage in conflict, let's have the Strawhats just ROLL through, that's wayyyy more interesting and entertaining to watch. That's sarcasm, btw, since I'm sure you'll need to be told that.

Luffy and Zoro couldn't prevent top tiers like Doflamingo and Fujitora from kidnapping Law. I don't see you complaining and ranting about that like you are about Sanji letting the other SHs getting kidnapped by someone on their level. The fact of the matter is, Sanji attempting to charge them would be an idea only an idiot would think is a good one because Brook, Nami, and Chopper were being held hostage. They're against a strong enemy that JUST surprised them with a power they couldn't have imagined him possessing, and had no idea what else he was capable of.

Why would it possibly be a good idea to charge people whose strength and abilities are unknown to you, who are surrounding you, and who have the weakest members of your crew hostage? Also, Capone said he had cannons stored in his body. How was Sanji to know he didn't have other large scale weapons like bombs, or other strong people stored up in hiding?
