- Just to clarify, this thread is a rant and I'm going to clearly address my thoughts on why these words and sayings are stupid and unnecessary. If this in any way offends you for whatever reason, I advise you to not continue.

There are just some slang/internet words that people say that don't make sense to me at all. As such, I feel they are stupid and should be replaced by more accurate words. You can call me a grammar freak, but I much prefer to be called a defender of language. After all, at the rate we're going, the internet may end up destroying the language we use out of obscuring words and misinforming children of their actual meaning.

Ripped (Referring to muscles)- When someone says, "He is ripped", it doesn't make sense to me. If they are trying to describe how muscular a guy is, why don't they just say something more accurate like, "He is a brute". Using the word ripped makes it sound like the dude is in an unhealthy state, or his body is ripped in half. I don't get it. If someone can explain how this describes the person, I will take back this thought.

Broken
(Game or mechanic) - If you use something in a game that is regarded as extremely powerful or strong, a lot of people will say, "That is broken". Doesn't broken imply that something isn't working or doesn't work properly? How does broken describe something that is regarded as extremely efficient? It is literally the complete opposite. What relation is this? Do we want our kids to adore a gift they got from a relative and tell their relative it's broken thinking that the word broken describes something that's really efficient and awesome? "Mommy, that fishing pole Granddaddy got me is broken!" "Oh no sweetie! We have to get a new one!" "What? What do you mean Mama?"

Overpowered - I already made several threads about this word, and it is the most annoying word to me by far. First of all, "overpowered" is a verb, not an adjective. Secondly, it implies that someone is experiencing defeat or is being overwhelmed by something else. It does not mean that the subject is extremely or overly strong. It is almost the exact opposite as it implies weakness to another thing.

U mad bro? - This one I have no problem with as far as the meaning goes. However, it is an extremely redundant and pointless question. It's like if your sister or brother was eating cereal in front of you and you say, "You eating cereal bro?" the answer is, "Yes. I am eating cereal. You fu**ing moron. Why are you asking that question."

Acceptable words -

Trash
- People use the word trash to describe something they find repulsive or ineffective. For example, a weapon in a game that is very bad people would call "trash". This word describes what the person is trying to convey.

Troll
- A troll is a being known for causing needless harm among people. When people say someone is a "troll", this conveys that meaning and relates to the creature. However, while some people use the term accurately, I have a problem with people that are so sensitive and stupid that they believe everything and everyone is "trolling" them because they take offense to everything. If there is no intended harm, nobody is being a troll. Just stop crying.
