This thread has probably been made multiple times, but I want to give my own thoughts based on recent chapters.

Now when ranking the Rookie 9, I'm just talking about these guys, the original.

Not the entire Konoha 11, since that team as a whole has been pretty much disbanded ever since Neji died.

1. Naruto Uzumaki(obvious reasons)
   
2. Sasuke Uchiha(obvious reasons)
   
3. Choji Akimichi(Giant Butterfly Mode the size of the Gedo Mazo)
   
4. Shikamaru Nara(Smarter than Shino, so he could probably figure out someway to beat him)
   
5. Shino Aburame(Smarter and more cautious than Kiba)
   
6. Kiba Inuzuka
   
7. Sakura/Hinata
   
8. Hinata/Sakura
   
9. Ino Yamanaka

Whether my list is accurate or not, please be happy to show me your own lists.

This is the first time a list has ever been so close to my own feelings on the matter. I honestly thought we were gonna match when you had Choji and Shikamaru 3 and 4 but I gotta say I think Sakura and Hinata are both stronger than Kiba, Hinata just has the problem of confidence. Also I think I'll have to go with Hinata over Sakura despite the power difference her yin seal will mean nothing when her chakra is jammed by the gentle fist.

One last thing/question. Why no Lee or TenTen cus despite Shikamaru being my fave, I think Lee is better, Lee could probably break Shika's shadow with pure strength if he was slow enough to get caught that is? That's my question my thing is Sasuke wasn't Konoha 11 he was Konoha 12

1. Naruto (naruto and sasuke are prolly equal, if not for pnj and naruto's signature tnj skills. imo sasuke's ems = naruto's fire kcm mode thingy)

3. Shino (his justu is the most versatile of all the k9 and he rivals shikamaru in terms of strategy/intellect
4. Kiba/Choji (both can turn into big and strong monsters, but both also have very straightforward and easy to predict styles, and are not particularly smart either)

6. Sakura (going by feats only, going by "next gen sannin" hype she'd be number 3, but in reality shes not that great)
7. Shikamaru (i actually really really like shika's style of analyse and form a strategy, but right now hes just not up to par with some others with his shadow stuff)
8. Hinata (shes probably a pretty good cqc fighter, but when i think of neji i remember how much she pales in comparison to true hyuuga strength)
9. Ino (lol poor ino. i wish shed be good at something besides mind transferring into somebody else and her main body being completely vulnerable)

ppl give shikamaru's intelligence far too much credit, I think if they fought with intent to kill, shino gets him atleast 7 outta ten times, I agree with your list except I think shino is above shikamaru, those bugs are too much and not to mention shino has bug clones. imho, he's vying for 3rd place with choji, if choji hits a bug clones he's covered in those chakra eating bugs, gg choji at that point.

i like ino but explain how she beats sakura or hinata pls? we really just havent seen anything of ino that would make me believe shes enough to overcome sakura's hyakogu (or w/e its called) or hinata's trigrams and lion fists
