If naruto had grew up w/ his father he would be known as a prodigy. I believe he is a prodigy just a late bloomer.

If this is about child prodigies, the number one spot goes to Itachi, no contest, at age 11 he was already putting Sannins in their place and having them flee from fear of his ability... and at 13, taking out 3 grown seemingly jonin level 3 tomoe sharingan users with ease...

There is noone in the manga at that age who has been shown on that level yet

Itachi wasn't 11 when he cut oro's hand, so idk how you came to that conclussion... He was past 14 by then time he assassinated the uchiha clan and fled to akatsuki.

I put Lee up there coz he can't mold(born without) chakra and still fodderized Sasuke and held his own against a jin. That to me deserves respect

It was mainly a result of hardwork, he did not have talent for anything including taijutsu, was not intelligent much the only thing he had affinity for was ability to open gates, which are self sacrifical.

.....Taking out sunagakure anbu? how is that a testament even close to what Itachi and Minato has shown? , Kabuto took out 5+ Konoha anbu with ease.. We are talking about a SANNIN here.. that kid Itachi put in his place.. and caused Orochimaru to admit inferiority towards.. Orochimaru could probably handle 20 anbu with ease if Kabuto said that at least 10 would give him even a remote challenge....

Decent List, Minato literally is a prodigy of nothing but still became Hokage. Lee hasn't really accomplished anything amazing or outstanding besides the fact he is great at taijutsu so can't really see him at number 2, however I do see your reasoning because he also a prodigy of nothing. Itachi deserves top 2 mainly because although he was a prodigy of Uchiha he was owning at the age of like 3. Kakashi should be higher than Sasuke mainly because of the fact that Kakashi made a huge impact on the ninja world without having to threat an entire village and he achieved chunin rank at an age before Sasuke even graduated the academy so yeah achieved more at a younger age without being an uchiha by birth(even though Kakashi's dad is a village hero) I don't think that has anything on a clan that is directly off-springed from the sage. And you could even argue that Shika deserves to be higher than Neji only because Shika became chunin faster while being nowhere near as powerful and without being a prodigy of the "so-called" second strongest family in the village.
