For me, Boruto has the best design and uhh... Choji's kid got the short end of the stick.

Asuma and Kurenai's kid looks pretty cool too.

Kurenai's daughter is normal and good. No one else.

We've seen very little from them so it's unfair to say they are emotionally void. I agree Shikamaru's kid, Ino's kid and Choji's kid could have been much better.
