I never mentioned anything about Marineford or Thriller Bark. I'm just saying that if Kuma is gonna be this high on the Sichibukai power scale, then he better not be a mindless robot that got beat up by Ivankov. v_v

Sure but he kept a brainless Kuma at bay rather easily. The fight was interrupted so we didn't get to see all of it. My point is that a brainless, laser-spitting Kuma isn't as strong as a conscious Kuma that thinks and analyzes.

Being conscious he can use his arsenal in a strategic way, thus making him more dangerous. Without his mind, he is just dishing out random laser beams and attacks here and there. There's no way he can beat the likes of Doflamingo this way IMO, so that's why a brain is important in this case. v_v
