Ichibē would ride the waves - as it changes the terrain to an ocean - while maneuvering out of the range of the clay bird should Deidara direct it upon him with his brush weapon in hand to strike down the target should he survive.

If Deidara continued with his electric bolt, the middle doppelganger would be aware and take the full brute of the attack, dispersing in a cloud of smoke. As the remaining hurl doppelganger approaches towards Deidara, he would expel three enormous bullets of fire that rain down on Deidara like meteors, which erupt in a geyser of flames. Meanwhile, Ichibē would be carry by the column of water that was stacked by his previous water Jutsu to allow him to reach and land on the right, outer-side of the hole, watching the bullets of fire come down.

The impact of the water Jutsu was not merely for the sake of countering it, but Ichibē was aiming to reduce his speed so that he can position himself on a pillar of earth he would create. "Earth Style Jutsu!" Ichibē chanted while focusing his earth chakra on the base of the wall to manipulate the earth to emerge as support - stretching out like an appendage within a 10-meter radius of the square. The bird exploded,blocking the view oft the opponent for a moment and as Deidara formed a hand of water and sent it towards the opponent,he would see the opponent moving towards the hand,apparently unscathed,however with his enhanced eye,Deidara saw that the opponents skin was now of a different color indicating some technique.This allowed the opponent to burst through the water hand.
Hmph,whatever,you won't last much longer,thought Deidara as he performed several hand seals.And as the opponent yelled the name of a earth technique he was performing,the whole water pond created during the fight would be encircled by giant pillars from all sides,including the top.As they are formed they emit electricity,frying anyone inside of it.

It is often used after Earth Release: Mud Fall to cover the enemy target in mud and then follow up with using Fire release: Firing Biscuit, creating flames in the oven to roast and harden the mud, immobilizing the enemy.
With the opponent trapped by the pillars,Deidara performed another hand seal,creating an exact replica of himself.He then gave the clone a large amount of clay into his hand.After that Deidara would perform another hand seal and by controlling how the light reflects of him would seemingly disappear and quickly starts moving backwards away from the pillars.While the clone moved forward towards the pillars and began consuming the clay.

Description: This is a ninja escape technique that allows the user after performing the Tiger hand seal to control how light is reflected around their body with chakra inflections. The technique also erases the user's scent and shadow, and is usable on any terrain, making it ideal not only for covert maneuvers but also offensive strikes. Perceiving the user's position is possible only for ninja who are astute enough to observe minute variations within their surrounding environment, such as distortions of air currents in the immediate vicinity or distinguishing sounds, i.e. footsteps etc. However, the usefulness of this ability can be entirely negated by those with special vision or sensory skills. The Second Tsuchikage, Mū's mastery of this technique helped earn him the moniker "Non-Person" seemingly having neither form nor chakra while the technique was active.
