I'm no art major or anything, but I believe everything about blending is perfectly fine here. Putting the complementary color or close to it on top of the color in the background is a form of blending. It's just a style that is horribly used at times. I believe this is great, it just seems a bit low quality in some of the corners or edges of some curves of the colors. Also the title "random" is quite fitting since the picture of the woman in the pose with this background is funny looking yet fits together in the form of exposed/exploding/spreading colors.

exactly why i titled it random haha. i just thought it would match the colours so i used it / i'm terrible at using brushes, that's why haha.

^^ It's fine. Brushes that are set for 1 or 2 purposes are kinda hard to use. I screw up a lot xD

Your 3d stuff is pretty rad though. So if this is your first time without it, then you did a great job keep up the good work.

It is much neater without C4D applied. Good try on the brushing, and also to the blending. It looks good. Continue to do this way ..
