What if instead of becoming a navy admiral coby finds out the same thing that made drake become a pirate and joins the strawhats in the future

That's not likely, I see coby choosing to change the Navy instead. He'll be like I need to become an admiral to be able to effect change....

Nah while he's a religious believer in Luffy he'll be the one to help change the Marines for the better. He'll become a better version of Sengoku.

I think that a common enemy will bring them together for coop, but idk about joining them.

I think that would be pretty cool though.

Coby isn't the type of guy who would falter. When Luffy says good thing of Coby, Luffy knows what he's saying. He's gonna make one hell of an enemy of the navy. Much worse than Akainu but in good way.

No... Just no that's the worst thing that could happen coby's dream is to be an admiral and he will most likely change the marines.

Coby alongside Smoker, Tashigi, Garp and Fujitora are a different breed of marine. They instead of giving up, proceed to move forward and make changes happen .

For example, Smoker didn't let go of the situation back in Arabasta as we found out recently in the fujitora flashback. He went to fujitora and told him what really happened and expressed his desire to change the marines or at least do the right thing.
