Ok, so in order for IT to work it needs to shine it's light off of the moon and that light is absorbed or whatever into the people of the NV... but doesn't that mean once the moon sets that it'll break? What about the people on the other side of the world, are they being affected as well right now even though there is no reflection of the moon?
This is just random curiosity, obsessive over thinking haha

it covers the entire earth. Considering the moon never actually sets just goes on the back of the earth, it will last as long as the moon does

Yea but my problem lies with the idea that the moon is only ever on 1 side of the planet at a time, so how does it reach the other?

It's fictional. For all we know, moons in Naruto work differently.

The tree connects all people throughout the world to the moon, meaning that wherever the moon is shining there will be parts of the tree visiible to it. It doesnt matter where you go or hide, the tree is constantly being charged by the genjutsu and thus continuing it in an infinite loop.

Ok, so you're saying that it is using the limbs and roots of the tree to "shine" it's light throughout the world? or that the tree grabs them and then they are in the IT? I like the first option better because at least it helps explain how people with no visible moon would get caught in it's light.

Once u are effected by Infinite Tsukuyomi, u cant break it. Tsukuyomi is unbreakable except with certain situation(s).
The moon can be seen in any parts of the world at certain times(maybe idrk), and the only know counter/escape seems to be Sasuke's current Susanoo and being summoned by the Summoning: Worldly Resurrection(s)
