Sharpening? Brightness/Contrast? Maybe a little bit of hue/saturation? That seems to be it. I now this stuff in and out, I also do graphic art with Photoshop etc.

Yeah you can't expect eveyone to be a fabulous drawing skills and a fanart pro youknow. Most of the time people take the fanart and do what they want with it
