Random post I made on Facebook a few minutes ago regarding Ant-Man and this photo someone created on DA.
"This image really really spoke to me. This would be my ideal/perfect Ant-man. I really like Ant-man and I hope he's done well in the films. My favorite alliteration, the one I was first introduced to, of Ant-Man is from Avengers-Earth Mightiest Heroes. Imagine this for future Avengers movies. A pacifist who thrives in science and loves creating peaceful solutions to help the world accidentally creates something that might destroy the world (Ultron). That event leads him down a path to becoming a hero, alongside Jan of course, but secretly still haunts him because of all the lives lost because of his mistake. One day, Jan gets severely hurt because of him and he cannot take it anymore. He never intended this chaos or pain. He leaves the team, tells Jan he loves her, and becomes Yellowjacket. Yellowjacket, as you know or probably don't know since only a few people on my friends list are into comics and even few know about Hank, is a more extreme version of Hank Pym as that same chaos he wanted to stop has now seeped into his mental state. He still helps the team, but is not a member nor does he talk to Jan anymore. He's alone because he realizes it's the safest for everyone else, and as to what he tells himself as an excuse, he can help the world better this way. No law. No people to answer to. Just him. An ending would be Jan getting him to realize he can't fix everything. Some things happen and there's nothing we can do. Hank says we can still try. Jan loves this about Hank, something the old Hank embodied, him wanting the best for everyone and his never give up attitude, but doesn't want him to be consumed by it. She needs him too. Hank goes back to normal and everything is back to how it was. Hank Pym, a man looking into the mysteries of science for the brightest future.
Also, Ewan McGregor. I really like Ewan McGregor, so this is a match made in heaven. I highly doubt they'll cast him, but in my ideal world he's Ant-Man."
