Random post I made on Facebook a few minutes ago regarding Ant-Man and this photo someone created on DA.

"This image really really spoke to me. This would be my ideal/perfect Ant-man. I really like Ant-man and I hope he's done well in the films. My favorite alliteration, the one I was first introduced to, of Ant-Man is from Avengers-Earth Mightiest Heroes. Imagine this for future Avengers movies. A pacifist who thrives in science and loves creating peaceful solutions to help the world accidentally creates something that might destroy the world (Ultron). That event leads him down a path to becoming a hero, alongside Jan of course, but secretly still haunts him because of all the lives lost because of his mistake. One day, Jan gets severely hurt because of him and he cannot take it anymore. He never intended this chaos or pain. He leaves the team, tells Jan he loves her, and becomes Yellowjacket. Yellowjacket, as you know or probably don't know since only a few people on my friends list are into comics and even few know about Hank, is a more extreme version of Hank Pym as that same chaos he wanted to stop has now seeped into his mental state. He still helps the team, but is not a member nor does he talk to Jan anymore. He's alone because he realizes it's the safest for everyone else, and as to what he tells himself as an excuse, he can help the world better this way. No law. No people to answer to. Just him. An ending would be Jan getting him to realize he can't fix everything. Some things happen and there's nothing we can do. Hank says we can still try. Jan loves this about Hank, something the old Hank embodied, him wanting the best for everyone and his never give up attitude, but doesn't want him to be consumed by it. She needs him too. Hank goes back to normal and everything is back to how it was. Hank Pym, a man looking into the mysteries of science for the brightest future.

Also, Ewan McGregor. I really like Ewan McGregor, so this is a match made in heaven. I highly doubt they'll cast him, but in my ideal world he's Ant-Man."

The one thing that I still don't understand is why Marvel is releasing Ant-Man AFTER the Avengers 2. Ultron is the villain in the Avengers 2 (Ultron is a creation of Ant-Man), yet Ant-Man's solo film comes out later on in the same year. It makes no sense to me. Some people have said, "they're releasing Ant-Man after the Avengers 2, but it will take place before the Avengers 2", but that makes even less sense because that would mean everything that happens in the Avengers 2 [villain wise] would be supposedly random until its explained in Ant-Man. It just doesn't sit right with me.

It's because Stark is creating Ultron , which I don't like either .

Correct and I don't like how it's just Tony. I like what EMH did. He and Tony both made it. That's what I wish they'd do in Avengers 2. It'd give Tony something and it'd introduce Hank Pym. He doesn't have to be Ant-Man, but him creating Ultron is a big part of his story.

Paul Rudd is a good choice.

It's something I'm definitely interested in. I wonder if Hank will cameo in Avengers 2 or maybe some reference. I feel like he has to since he won't be in anything pre-Avengers 2, unless Antman 2 is a prequel, which would be odd, because Ultron is a big part of him. I just hope they don't just make Ultron-Tony related, which seems to be the what they are doing, and nothing to do with Hank.

If thats the case (with Stark creating Ultron), that doesn't sit right with me either. If that happens, then basically what I'm taking away from this (so far) is that the Avengers 2 is basically just Iron Man 4 with some other superheroes in it, since the plot would have to revolve around Tony if he creates the villain. I don't mean to come off like I won't enjoy the film, I'm gonna enjoy the shit out of it one way or another, but I just don't understand their reasoning with this move when they could just as easily do something so little as swap the release dates of Ant-Man and the Avengers 2, do some slight re-writes to the Avengers script, and BOOM. Problem solved. The fan base is happy, you have a much better plot integrating a wider amount of characters, and you establish a key member of the Avengers before his love child runs amuck.

However there's still a chance that the guy that will play Ant - man will appear in the anvegers but doesn't actually gets to play the Hero in the movie just yet , so who knows .

What you said would be ideal. I'm curious as to how Ironman will be in Avengers. I hope it's not the Avengers trying to get him back in the game, but he doesn't, but then he does because of Ultron. If that's the case, I won't be sad or anything I guess, but I don't like the direction Ironman 3 went in with Tony (or 3 at all. Funny movie, but not a good superhero movie. Seriously, WTF was with Trevor?). I guess it's a wait and see deal.

I'm thinking that's the case and I'd prefer that, especially if he's involved with making Ultron.

well Kevin Fiege and Whedon said the credits scene in the winter soldier will give us a better idea about age of ultron. because an antman movie comes out later than the avengers 2, doesnt mean we wont be seeing hank pym before. maybe in age of ultron he's still just a scientist pre-antman and the credits scene in the winter soldier will show a team of scientists working on ultron or mentioning something about an AI
