Aigis walked with Sasuke to the nearby cliff (yes, a cliff magically appeared there LOL). Performing the Snake and (upside down) Tiger hand seals, she clapped her hands together and placed her right hand on the bottom of the cliff. An electrical surge shot upwards and cracked through the cliff's structure. After a few brief moments, large rocks started dislodging from the edge of the cliff, causing a miniature landslide that crashed down beside Aigis and Sasuke, thankfully missing them both.

"Try doing as I did, Sasuke. Remember that this is very location based, so it only works when you're near a cliff. Other than that, ask questions if you have any."

However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work.

"Alright, Itachi. Not bad, although thinking outside the box for your advantages and disadvantages doesn't hurt. Be sure to ask me questions if you have any."

"This jutsu will have you raising your hand in front of you. Mold your Raiton chakra at your hand, and it will start glowing yellow. From there, you'll release horn-shaped bolts of lightning, created from your shape manipulation. You can attack multiple targets if you aim this technique properly!"

Itachi Stand And He Was Very Angry. Quickly He Gathers Big Amount Of Raiton Chakra And Channels It In Hand It Starts To Glowing Yellow Then He Uses Shape Manipulation And Starts Releasing Horn-shaped Lightning Bolts He Shouted And Starts Running Toward Watermenols And Hits His Target

~Advantages:It Can Be Used To Deastroy Enemy Multiple Times And It Seems That This Technique Is Very Strong And Powerfull

Sasuke makes sure his eyes are wide open as aigis senpai is explaining. he tries to remember the explanation.

"Snake, upside down Tiger, and then hands clapped together," sasuke repeats in his mind.

as he repeats it on his mind, he sees large rocks started dislodging, causing a miniature landslide beside him and aigis senpai. he's amazed, (not because a cliff magically appeared there, of course LOL) and getting excited to try out this new jutsu.

"here we go," Sasuke mutters.

Sasuke starts with forming hand seals. he's repeated the seals in his mind, so its not a problem. he performs snake, Upside down Tiger, and claps his hands together. after that, he places his left hand on the bottom of the cliff. for a sec, nothing happens. but then a wave of electrical energy is released and cracks through the cliff's structure. it doesnt take a long time for the stones and rocks to become dislodged and fall down, making a mini landslide. as the rocks fall, sasuke jumps back to where aigis senpai is standing.

"phew, thank God it didnt hit me" Says sasuke.

"now that ive seen and done it myself, in my opinion, the good thing about this jutsu is that would "seal" the enemy's movement. as the rocks are falling, they wont have much time to get out of there. and i think there are not many jutsus that can cancel this. and those rocks are pretty big ones." Sasuke explains.

"unfortunately," Sasuke continues, "as you've said senpai, this jutsu is very location based. you can't perform or make this jutsu work in any kind of place. this technique can only be done if there is cliff near you and your enemy. uphill of a mountain is the other option, if you are nowhere near a cliff."

"The rocks are considered C-rank, so you can easily use a higher ranked Earth technique to block, or even redirect the landslide."

"And yes, it's very location based. Personally, I haven't seen that jutsu being used very often, but it never hurts to have another jutsu under your belt."

Aigis hands Sasuke a simple training sword; a katana without the sharp, cutting edge.

"So that no one gets hurt, use this specially-made training sword. It's sharp enough to still be able to injure, but blunt enough that it doesn't bisect anyone."

"Channel your Raiton chakra through that sword... that will increase its cutting power, being surrounded by an Aura of lightning. The interesting part here, is you then use your chakra control to make it levitate in front of you. I then want you to apply the principles of creating clones to 'clone' the sword into two extra copies of it. You'll have three in total. Then, use hand gestures to make these swords spin rapidly and fly around, tearing up whatever is in their path."

"For this exercise, try cutting up those fallen trees over there into firewood."

"Instead of analyzing this one, I want to make an important distinction to BOTH of you. There are jutsus that you can 'spray and pray', and jutsus you have to maintain your focus on. Sasuke, what can you tell me about the differences between both types, and how would they be used in battle?"

While controlling the weapons, the user cannot mold chakra for other techniques and needs to keep focus.

"Itachi, a major disadvantage of that jutsu is that your palm glows yellow, which makes it easy for your enemy to see and counter. Remember, good and bad parts don't always come from the actual jutsu itself; sometimes, how the jutsus can be performed is key too. Techniques with a lot of hand seals, for example, are slower to manifest than techniques with less or no hand seals."

"Alright, so for this jutsu, I want you to manipulate your lightning chakra into your dominant hand. You'll generate electricity across your entire dominant arm. Once you've built up enough, slam your open palm onto the ground. The energy from your arm will surge through the ground and cause an area attack up to short range, where bolts of lightning attack everything around you in short range."

"Try it on those targets over there, arranged in a circle."

Souji pointed to a bunch of training dummies arranged in a circle.

Sasuke, at first, seemed to be confused. as the rank gets higher, the harder the jutsu gets to understand or perform. but sasuke still nods as aigis is explaining. its the first time for him to hold a sword, but he doesnt get nervous nor terrified. in fact he even gets more excited than before. but instead of jumping and cheering, he's taking the sword.

sasuke then channels his raiton chakra through his sword, like his sensei tells him to. although he's done it for times before, this time is a bit different. he has a medium to channel his raiton chakra on. he begins to focus his mind. he gathers his chakra on his left hand and manipulates it into raito chakra. soon a lightning appears in his hand, and this time he still has to channel it through the sword.

as he channels it, the sword begins to be surrounded by an Aura of lightning. the shape however, doesnt look good. the lightning is still not well shaped. so he tries to channel more raiton chakra and stabilize it. as he's focusing his mind, the shape has become more stable and more well-shaped.

after that, sasuke tries to levitate it by using his chakra control. and it does levitate in front of him.

"wohow. easy easy," says sasuke

but sasuke still hasnt got used to it. so for now he takes his time to get used to controlling it. once he has, he applies the principle of creating clones to the sword. he manipulates the number of sword, making one appear on the left and the other on the right of the sword. this is even harder than before, but he remembers the crest on his back, and says

"no, i can't fail. not here, not today. im an uchiha, there's no way im failing at this," he mumbles

and he gains perfect control on his three swords and he knows those swords are sharper than before, thanks to the lightning and ready to attack. so he spins them in the air by using hand gestures. as they're flying around, sasuke takes a look at fallen trees, and aims the sword at them.

"there," he mutters

he then uses hand gestures to make the swords fly towards those fallen trees and they do fly. as expected, the swords pierce through them and make them burn. sasuke has done it. he can't help but put smile on his face.

"spray and pray techs are jutsu launched or sprayed by the user and will automatically go attack, without having to be controlled. but the attack will go undirected, which is the reason why they call it 'spray'. this kind of jutsus are usually used to distract enemies. as an example, shuriken kage bunshin no jutsu. you throw shurikens and multiply it, and they will be sprayed to attack but undirected, hoping that some of them may hit. which is the reason why they call it 'pray'."

"however, there are also jutsus we have to maintain our focus on. this is a 'direct attack' kind of jutsus. we cant just aim it, but we need to have full control of it, so we can guide them and throw at enemies in accordance with our wish. they would be used to attack directly toward the enemies, the difference with other jutsus, including 'spray and pray' techs, is we have full control of it and it can be guided to anywhere as we wish. for example, kagutsu. the puppets can attack and release something, but they are guided and controlled by the user via chakra threads." sasuke explains

"In a fight, if you use a streaming jutsu, you cannot perform any other techniques until you stop the stream. This leaves you vulnerable. Don't make the mistake of trying to perform two techniques simultaneously; you'll easily be countered by your opponent."

"A 'spray and pray' technique can be used in combinations much more easily, but they might sometimes be weaker than streaming-types. In a battle, remember that it's all about how one USES a jutsu, and HOW it's used. Keep that in mind."

"Now, Sasuke, I'll have you face your brother again. This time, you'll go first. Put your hands in front of you and release Raiton chakra in front of you, and apply your shape manipulation to create a dome-shaped attack that you will push forward towards Itachi. It can push aside things in its way if they're weaker, and shock them as well. However, remember that it only reaches short range."

Apply your shape manipulation, you'll create a lightning wall that SHOULD be able to stop the wave of lightning. Both techniques will cancel each other out, since they're of equal rank."

unlike before, this time after Aigis senpai tells him to face his brother, he has no doubt in his eyes. he has faith in himself that he can do it, and in itachi that he is strong enough to stay alive. So sasuke doesnt hesitate at all. he takes a look at his brother, and mutters

"let's go, big bro"

After that, he raises his hands up, right before his eyes, and starts gathering his raiton chakra. he releases it in front of him. after that, he manipulates the shape of his raiton chakra into half-shaped dome. the shape however, isnt as big as sasuke expected. but he doesnt give up, although this isnt as easy as it looks. he releases more raiton chakra, manipulates its shape, making the dome bigger, stronger and more stable.

and then he takes aim at itachi, who stands not far from where he is.

"take this!" sasuke screams.

he swings his arms and the jutsu is pushed forward towards itachi, his brother.

"oh my i forgot the explanations. apologize senpai.

the advantages of this jutsu are that the technique can push aside any things in its way if they're weaker, which also can protect the user by repelling things while the jutsu is going forward. it also still has lightning attributes such as paralyzing and shocking. however, like any other techniques, this jutsu has disadvantages as well. it's a short range jutsu, and it can be canceled by any jutsu which are in the same rank."[/QUOTE]

"Generally, elements that are the same require equal ranks to cancel each other out. Same applies if the elements are neutral to each other. Well done, both of you."

"It's the elements when they have strengths and weaknesses against each other is where it gets more interesting. Let's have a quick lesson. If you use an element, the opponent can counter with its weakness a rank lower to cancel it out. Anything higher will continue onto the opponent as a weakened jutsu."

"So for example, if I use a B-rank Earth jutsu against Souji-kun here..."

"I can use C-rank lightning to cancel out Aigis's attack. If I use B-rank Lightning or above, it will continue onward to Aigis. That's how a counter can be offensive and defensive. Remember, lightning is strong to Earth."

"Remember to ask us questions if you need help understanding how the elements interact with each other."

The senpais set up more targets and dummies, getting ready for the next couple of rounds.

"Itachi, you will perform this next jutsu. This is a taijutsu-style attack. Generate Raiton chakra in your fist, and apply your shape manipulation to form a sphere of electricity around it. When you punch someone, it will cause a small electrical explosion, dealing fatal damage."

"Try it on this training dummy."

Souji placed a scarecrow-style dummy in front of Itachi.

Aigis set up a target in front and behind Sasuke for him to try and hit.

"So, although usually it will cancel each other, if we use the same rank as the jutsu used against us, but the element of our jutsu is stronger than the other one, it will continue onward to the enemies, making it counter it. gonna make sure i'll remember it. thank you senpai"

After hearing the explanation, sasuke wastes no more time. he raises his left hand up and sets his mind focused on gathering raiton chakra on his left hand. soon the lightning itself appears. he sends an electrical discharge into the clouds, making the clouds form lightning strikes, as it's happening, the words from his senpai come to his mind

"These come down immediately after the discharge occurs, so it's fast. be quick!"

by wasting no more time, again, sasuke immediately glances at the dummy in front of him and makes a quick turn around and his eyes catch it, the other dummy that used to be behind him and now is in front of him. he aims at both of the dummies and the lightning strikes them, as expected.

"phew, that was close. thank God it didnt hit you senpai. 1 more second passed by, and.. well i think we already know.. "

"if i explained the advantage first before, now im gonna start with the weaknesses or disadvantages. this jutsu's got some. first, it strikes immediately after we discharge raiton chakra, so we got a really short time here. one needs to be quick to aim the technique or else it will strike randomly and ends up at where we dont mean to strike. so basically it can't be delayed. and also, this isnt a long range technique. its a medium range. we can't attack targets that are not in range. and i assume, it can also be canceled if one who gets struck, uses a same rank jutsu to defend them."

"however, this technique also gives us advantage. we can strike at anywhere we desire to. as long as the target is in the range, we can have the lightning strikes in the place we wish." Sasuke explains

For a disadvantage, you could argue that the short range and taijutsu style of the jutsu you just did isn't effective against long range fighters. Try to find things in the technique you can talk about that are in its description or performance. For example, an advantage would be that the explosion can push back an enemy that's too close to you. Keep this in mind; try to think about what the jutsu DOES, and how it can effect the battle."

Souji creates a Shadow Clone that stands mid range from Itachi.

"Weave the Ram, Boar, Dog, Bird, and Hare hand seals, and release your lightning chakra through the ground. The lightning will surround my clone and force the Earth to form four pillars that surround him. These earth pillars will conduct the electricity and hit my clone with lightning bolts, doing some good damage, shocking and paralyzing them."

"Try it out. This technique has a great range, but the formation of handseals and the pillars may be slower than other techniques."

Description: After the user performs the Ram → Boar → Dog → Bird → Hare hand seals, he releases his lightning chakra into the ground, using it to forcefully shape the earth into 4 big pillars (proportionate to the target area) around the target. Once they rise, they unleash a barrage of lightning bolts, currents and shocks to whatever is inside, paralyzing, shocking and damaging the target from all around.

Aigis felt the lightning strike's energy from a short distance away. It was a good thing Sasuke missed...

"To counter a technique like that, I would take advantage of the moment the opponent raises their hand and discharges the electricity to the air. That's a very basic concept of countering in the 'first offensive action'. By definition, that's the manifestation of the attack, such as the weaving of handseals or the buildup of chakra. I can explain this better if you have any questions. However, one thing you must note is that you cannot, I repeat, CANNOT interrupt an opponent's first move or attack before them in their turn during a fight."

(basic timeframe rules, I can explain more later on.)

"For your technique, Sasuke, perform the Rabbit, Dog, Boar, Ram, and Rat hand seals while generating Raiton chakra to collect and form lightning in your hands. You can then discharge this current in two ways: an unfocused, spreading attack, or focused through a conduit, like a weapon or a medium like water, conducting it."

"I want you to try this on my clone that's standing on the lake over there, you'll be able to zap her with a nice water/lightning combination. This technique is unique in that it increases in damage if combined with a water jutsu."

"Some notes. This technique has a great range overall, but it's a streaming-type technique, so be aware of that."

Description: After doing the Rabbit → Dog → Boar → Ram → Rat hand seals, the user generates a large amount of lightning from their hands, which can then be either released in an unfocused manner or passed through conductive materials to improve the electrical power of the technique, namely in conjunction with Water Techniques. In fact, certain users have showed that its possible to, if the user has the ability to mold both Water and Lightning chakras at the same time (for example, Darui who has Storm Release), unleash this particular technique at the same time as they exhale/spit some water technique (which needs to consist of a stream of water), combining both in a seemingly consecutive move. Other ninjas will need to use a clone or an ally for the same effect.

But the amount of it is still not enough, so he focuses more on channeling raiton chakra to form a bigger amount of lightning.

He glances at sees aigis' clone whose standing there, and he releases the lightning toward the water, just few steps ahead of the clone. the technique, of course, works in a good combination with the water. the clone has now disappeared.

"and now for the advantages. this technique basically can be released in 2 ways. in an unfocused manner, or focused through a medium. the medium can be weapon and water. if we combine the jutsu with water, such as use river, lake, or even suiton jutsu, we can increase the damage. and this technique has a great range, as this is a long-range technique.

"however, this technique is a streaming type. this kind of jutsu needs us to maintain our focus on. we need to have full control of it as the technique is working. however, thats where the weaknesses lie. we cannot perform any other techniques until we stop the stream. This will leave us vulnerable. and if one wants to combine it with water but there is no water nearby, they can not use this technique and water technique simultaneously as they'd easily be countered by their opponent. this still can be anticipated tho by using clone to perform the other jutsu."

"Sasuke, when I mean 'first offensive action', it means you should be observing when your opponent is about to attack, or an indication of it. For example, if I raise my hand, you should be thinking 'she's going to launch an attack'. The moment you see the jutsu being fired or launched, that will be your cue to react by blasting back with another technique."

"well i suppose, if i counter this jutsu in first part, which is the part where the user raises hands, i'll know that they're about to launch the jutsu, and i'll be ready to anticipate it later. the moment i see the jutsu has been launched, i'll immediately launch one as well. but if i wait till the user slams their hands (the second part), and then analyze what to do followed by preparing to launch a tech after that, i might be countering it when this jutsu is working, or going toward me. of course that would mean i wont be as ready as i 'counter' the jutsu in the first part."

(When you counter a jutsu while it's being performed, you interrupt the move. If you counter a jutsu after it's being performed, it's a reaction. It just depends on your battle strategy. Interrupting a move is considered cheap, so try not to do it too often

How I would Use it in Battle: Defence Gaara Is standing in front of his enemy and fightning to death He were Sweating and His legs were Shaking He were Exhausted. But he managed to Gather Some Chakra to perfom Jutsu His Enemy Perfomed B-rank Doton Jutsu and Gaara Quickly Gathers Chakra then Used Nature Transformation To Change it into Raiton Chakra Then He quickly Apply his Shape manipulation to form A lightning Whip. And Saved his Own life


How i would use it in battle: Offensive Gaara were Standing in front of his Enemy And After He Countered Enemy's Jutsus he Starts To Gather Chakra Then Used Nature Transformation To Change it into Raiton Chakra Then He applyed His Shape manipulation To Form a Giant And Powerfull Lightning Whip.Technique hits His enemy And Killed His Enemy.


Advantages: it's Very Powerfull jutsu and you dont need to perfom any handseals to Perfom It So it Can be used Faster Than Other techniques. Also you can use it as Offensive And as Defence Too
