As you stand alone in the isolated training field, the sky darkens and storm clouds gather until an intense lightning strike occurs mere meters in front of you, creating an explosion of bright light and electricity. Once the dust cloud begins to clear, the silhouette of an approaching man can be seen.

Lightning is a very powerful element, capable of instantly killing any human being. As it relates to Naruto mainly, its one of, if not, the fastest elements that exist. It allows user to generate lighting by increasing the high frequency vibrations of their chakra, allowing for piercing damage and fast movement.

Whilst you covered the basics, you've barely begun to scratch the surface. I'll give you a run down of all of the main elements (especially Raiton), make sure to commit this to memory. Once you've read and understood the following, we will continue.

Wind Release is the element that allows us to create and manipulate wind. When you think of wind you think of something that is fast, free flowing, unpredictable, and strong. In the Narutoverse and in our RP, wind release has a variety of different properties which makes it versatile in its own right. For one, we have the ability to create long and short powerful gusts of flowing wind. Mainly these techniques that are designed to provide resistance against oncoming attacks, reversing the trajectory of weaponry, etc. We can also create short concentrated/compressed bursts of wind that give a pseudo solid form which can be used for blunt force or strong impacts. These would mainly be offensive in nature. There is also vacuum or suction power that can be generated, drawing objects in for close combat or sucking away the oxygen for suffocation. However, one of the more prominent abilities of wind release that we’ve come to know from the Narutoverse is the powerful cutting power that it possesses. Mainly from characters like Naruto, Asuma, and Sora, the wind nature has been shown to be able to slice and cut through things like butter. Wind is the movement of many gases in the air, though we’ve been shown to manipulate just the air itself and call it wind release by comparison due to the relationship.
Water is the most calm and free-flowing elements. These characteristics dictate its nature, making it useful in combat due to the fluidity and intense lack of control that is required to utilize it. Lightning and Fire take extreme control, but manipulation of water takes calmer movements and so controlling it comes more naturally. While its the calmest element, it can also become one of the most destructive. Putting a large amount of force behind of wave gives it power that can't be paralleled by all the other elements. In terms of scale, Water has the highest potential to be the "best" element, a clear testament of this is Kisame of the Akatsuki. Water comes in three main forms: normal water, sticky water and oily flammable water.
Earth Release is often considered the element of sturdiness and durability. Unlike other elements which come and go with time, it is an ever eternal presence in the environment which endures all types of weather regardless of how harsh conditions become. Earth can be used as a shield or blockade defensively to dissipate the force of powerful waves of water or non-cutting gusts of wind. It can withstand great heats, acting as a heat sink but also as a physical barrier to prevent weapons passing through. Its strong against water, its natural ability to prevent water from passing through it whilst passing through water itself is a reason for this. However its weak against lightning. The lightning conducted along the earth causes it to break up, lose its natural composition and break down due to the penetrative abilities of Raiton. Doton can either be used in this solid rocky form or its adhesive mud-like variant, granting the element further versatility. As well as the conventional uses of the element, the mud variant can be used to bind opponents in place, clash with other elemental jutsus or be used in many effective combinations. The mud-variant is most commonly used along with Fire to form pseudo-lava (molten mud), making for a very dangerous substance. Along with Suiton, its versatility stems from the state of matter it naturally occurs in. Due to having physical substance, Doton can be shaped into various structures from defensive walls to jagged spikes, from an earth dragon to a single pillar of earth. Furthermore, in terms of terrain-based advantage, Doton can be used to manipulate the ground beneath and around the opponent, allowing for limitless potential in creating successful combos. I like to think of the element as the perfect balance between offensive, defensive and supplementary usage, as no confines exist on what the user can create.

Alright, now we will begin with the basic techniques of Lightning Release. Come over here and stand right next to me, cup both of your hands together, but leave a substantial space in between them, as if you're gripping a small spherical object like a ball. Focus your raiton chakra to this location, envision high frequency chakra being generated in between your palms and attempt to tame this wild force of nature, making sure it doesn't get the better of you. Once you stabilize the small amount of lightning chakra, connect your wrists before pushing your hands forwards and outwards to emit the chakra as a small bolt of lightning towards that central dummy five meters away from you, attempting to strike the bull's eye located on its chest.
Key Points: Pay close attention to every jutsu's range. This jutsu is short-ranged and won't travel very far. As a reference point, here's what the actual measurements are.
Short Range - 0 to 5 meters away from you
Mid Range - 5 to 15 meters away from you
Long Range - 15+ meters away from you

As your palm strikes the ground, release the built chakra as a surge of lightning which travels across the ground and direct it towards that group of interconnected dummies doused in water. If you do this correctly, the lightning should conduct into the first dummy and spread along all of the dummies, shocking them collectively.
Key Points: This requires you to slam your hand on the ground, and so can't be used in mid-air or without a solid surface to stand upon.

*I walk towards my sensei, Kakuzu, and stand besides him. I cups my hands together, but I leave a little space between them. I then begin focusing my Raiton chakra to this specific location. I start envisioning the high frequency chakra being generated between my palms and I try to control it. I succeed in controlling a small amount of raiton chakra and I connect my wrists together and I expell the chakra in a small bolt of lightning towards the dummy that is a couple meters infront of me, aiming to hit the bull's eye located on its chest.. but I miss the bull's eye and hit somewhere close to it. I try it again and I successfully hit the bull's eye.*

(Ration: Ikazuchi Kashou) - Lightning Release: Thunder Burn
Now, I'd like you to focus your raiton chakra in the same manner as before, only this time envisioning the element in its wave-like form. You will not be releasing bolts of lightning, but rather a wave with the same potency as the first technique you learned. The difference between the two techniques other than their form is, that water conducts waves more efficiently than it conducts projectiles.
Key Points: In our RP, there's something known as "focused" and "unfocused" lightning. Focused lightning is extremely condensed lighting which has some-degree of form and structure due to shape manipulation e.g. my Lightning mask's False Darkness, Sasuke's Chidori, his Chidori spear and so on. Unfocused lightning is the polar opposite, it usually lacks any sort of structures and comes in the form of waves or surges. The Lightning surge jutsu you just learnt and ran across the floor was a good example of unfocused lightning. It was wild and didn't have a defined shape.
Some claim, you can actually use focused lightning attacks under water, but I'm skeptical of this idea and have never tried it out.
(Raiton: Sandaa Saaburu) - Lightning Style: Thunder Saber
For this 2nd technique, I want you to generate an electric field shield around your body before releasing it towards those dummies over there. Target the largest group, since on contact with anything this jutsu will explode into a small maelstrom of lightning with enough force to knock them back a considerable distance.
Key Points: This is a close counterpart to the next technique you learn. The vagueness of the technique isn't useful, however I assume this one is the projectile-type electric field and the one you will learn next is the one which encases your body similar to an armour.

For this 3rd technique, I want you to focus your chakra once again and envision the electric field shield you just fired. Generate the same type of shield around your body, using it to cover you, much like you would wear a suit of armour. Don't waste any time, it could prove to be fatal.

( Raiton: Raigeki) - Lightning Release: Electric Attack
For this next technique, I want you to perform the following sequence of hand seals before creating an electric current from your hand that can span to an incredible distance, despite its rank. The technique is capable of striking multiple opponents due to its unfocused nature, making it useful against clones.

( Raiton: Denki Railanshō ) - Lightning Release: Electric Discharge Palm
Ah, I'm not too faimilar with this particular technique. To perform it channel your raiton chakra to your hand before manipulating it to generate electrical bolts around your forearm. Once you successfully do this, jump into the air before slamming your palm onto the ground, causing the built chakra to discharge itself. The resulting effect will be lightning bolts being sent into the ground and five meters in every direction.
Key Points: Believe it or not, but the jumping portion of the technique is useful against evading small-scale attacks. You could simply hop over them before slamming your hands onto the ground and continuing on to attack your opponent with a single maneuver.

*I perform the Tiger → Snake → Dog hand seals and start gathering chakra. I feel as if I have gathered enough chakra to perform the technique. I begin creating an electric current from my hand, focusing my chakra steadily. I particularly like this technique, now that I've re-evaluated it. Focus your lightning chakra into this sword to increase its cutting capabilities before utilizing your chakra to levitate it in front of your position. Next employ a mechanism similar to the one used to create clones, doing this to generate two extra physical copies of the sword. Now, cause them to spin rapidly before pushing your dominant palm forward (dramatic effect) to send the three lightning infused weapons towards those dummies over there. Attempt to behead those three dummies standing in a line.
Key Points: Since the two copies created are physical and real, I don't think they'll disperse afterwards. Nice way to duplicate the amount of weapons you have. When combined with the Shadow Shuriken Clone technique, this will make 1000 lightning infused swords.

Now I want you to release your raiton chakra into every chakra point in your body, whilst envisioning an armour of electricity enveloping your body. Attempt to replicate this in reality, coating yourself in a armour of raiton capable of withstanding attacks. While you attempt to do this, I'm going to cause C-Rank spikes of earth to emerge around you, which will impale you should you this task. The damage won't be fatal...well, for your sake I hope it won't.
Key Points: This is a good defense against B-Rank and below techniques which attempt to connect with your body. However, only use this against small scale b-ranks such as spikes and projectiles used against you. Be realistic in this technique's usage.

I control them and cause them to spin rapidly and then I push my dominant palm forwars and I send the 3 lightning infused swords towards the group of dummies in the distance.
