Sasha glanced at the training grounds and sat on the ground waiting for her sensei to show up while eating a hot potato.

So before we begin, what can you tell me about Raiton? What are its properties? Its strength and weaknesses?

Sasha rubbed her chin thoughtfully and cleared her throad before answering.
"Raiton is one of the basic 5 chakra natures and it tales the form of electrical and lightning based attacks. It's made by the increased vibrations of the user's chakra which is used to piercing and paralyzing. In addition, it can be used to amplify the user's reflexes as seen with Ay's lightning armor and an object piercing power as seen with Killer Bee's Raiton pencil. When combinated with suiton, it creates storm relase. It is very fast.

It is strong against earth because it can break the ground, but at the same time weak against wind because it is a natural electric isulator.

Brilliant response; yes Raiton is characterized by its crackling and shocking sensation, it is probably the most offensive element out of them all. Consisting of a piercing ability, and as you said capability to amplify reflexes and piercing power of a neutral object.

Now then, attempt to draw out your lightning chakra, think of what lightning truly is, imagine its sharp presence and its piercing ability and channel your chakra towards your more dominant arm, from there without using any shape manipulation just try to release a uncontrolled small bolt of lightning from your hand

Sasha nods and sits on the ground yet again. This time, she closes her eyes and thinks about lightning and it's abilities. Lighning... it's unpredictable and dangerus but at the same time beautiful. It is very hard to control with it's piercing abilities and incredible speed. She calms her breathing and tries to fuse her natural chakra with the powerful raiton chakra. She attemps to draw it out and feels the air around her becoming slightly more electrically charged, she charges that small portion of lighthing chakra in her body to her right hand feeling her muscles twich. She then looks at her hand, smiling as she sees a small bold of lightnig chakra around it.

(Raiton no Jutsu) - Lightning Release Technique

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra to create small bolts of lightning to attack their target.

That was your first Raiton jutsu! Now then, let's jump ahead from that point and go more in-depth; into concentrated and manipulated lightning. Like before, this time try to draw out your lightning chakra into each hand, and by using shape manipulation keep it compressed within each palm. Once having done that slam both of your palms into the ground beneath you, whilst doing that release the lightning from your hands, they will travel through the ground as a surge all the way to your opponent's feet, who when once hit, is shocked from the attack.

Sasha smiled thankfully at her sensei. She then procedeed to do as she was told. Feeling her muscles stiffen in now a familiar feeling she slowly charges the chakra she successfully drawn out in her hands while manipulating it's shape she mused for herself.
"This is a little harder than before.
Deciding that she has got enough chakra in both of her hands, she slams them into the ground with all her strength, successfully managing to crack it a little and relases the chakra from her hands to the ground, listening it crack a little as it made it's way to her teachers feet.

(Raiton: Raikou Oonami) - Lightning Release: Lightning Surge

Description: The user will concentrate their chakra and slam their hand on the ground to release a surge of lightning across the ground to the opponents feet to shock them.

Notice how the range is short for this technique, which is a given disadvantage.

Moving on to the last technique from the D-ranks section, this one is vaguely explained so we'll assume the best way to practice it. Begin by concentrating on your lightning chakra, channelling it towards your more dominant arm, and manipulate it to keep it compressed within the palm of said arm. And then motion your arm from one side to the other, swiping across the air and releasing the concentrated lightning.

Now from here, use shape manipulation to separate the quantity of lightning into small lightning bolts, let's say form 4 different lightning bolts that get sent to your opponent, shocking him upon impact.

Sasha nodded and began to concentrate her lightning chakra in the palm of her right hand , her body already used to raiton. She then started to move her arm swifly, left to right while relasing it from her palm, trying her best to manipulate it, shaping it into small bolts of lightning sending them towards her sensei.

Description: The user moves his palm unleashing a wave of lightning bolts at the opponent.

So for this next technique, I want you to perform this sequence of hand signs: Tiger → Snake → Dog whilst extending both of your hands outwards, simultaneously to channelling your Raiton chakra throughout your entire body and more dominantly towards the arms extended. From there, by using shape manipulation compress the chakra within your palms and shape it into that of a current, which runs between the space of both of your hands, and has the capability to extend all the way up to long range. Each individual which is caught into the current will be shocked and paralysed, stopping them from any movement.

Due to the current's massive radius as well, you can affect more than one target at the time which is a given advantage.
