Chakra is a natural energy source that runs through the body of a shinobi. Chakra came to be when Kagura ate the forbidden fruit. Afterwards, The 6pop defeated her and spread the same powers to people under the name Ninshu. Chakra is energy from the 10 tails and the tree of life that kagura ate from.
Nature manipulation is taking normal raw chakra and adding an elemental twist to it in a sense. You manipulate the chakra to take the form and appear of a naturally occuring element, be it Wind, Earth, Water, Lightning or Fire.
Raiton is one of the basic 5 nature chakra manipulations. Raiton takes on the same shape, properties, color and behaviour of naturally occuring lightning bolts that rain from the sky. The biggest difference between chakra created lightning and natural occuring lightning, is that a shinobi cannot harness the same levels of destructive power and speed that naturally occuring lightning has.

Priest was amazed at how much the student knows. It was as if he had prior knowledge of the element before. Priest would continue but next he'll be teaching the student how to change his chakra nature to that of lightning.

Grimmjow listened, but similar to his Wind training, he had a feeling his body would do this faster than him mind could catch up. Channeling his chakra, Grimmjow began to merely think of Lightning, and he could feel his body moving and reaction. His whole body felt like it was full of adrenalin as the lightning chakra flowed through him. Once it was flowing nicely, Grimmjow began to channel it specifically into his hand. From his hand, only moments later, sparks began to cackle and break off from the palm of his hand. The lightning was weak tho, and it was closer to sparks of lightning than actual bolts, but it was lightning non the less. With this, Grimmjow looked at the Priest and snarked,

Even when he thinks he's showing off, the student was outstanding nonetheless. He would implore the student to try more by imbueing more chakra into his hands so that. A stronger lightning bolt is formed. He points to a tree so that the student aim at it and depending on the nature of the tree the lightning assault, he'll be able to judge if the student had done justice to the technique.

Listening to the instruction given to him, Grimmjow focussed harder on the chakra, forcing more and more of the raiton swirling around his system to gather in his hands. Once again, his body reacted perfectly, and did exactly what was asked of it. Within moments, large bolts began erupting from his palm, almost like a small storm lay in the palm of his hand. Happy he had enough chakra, Grimmjow aimed his hand at the tree and released his control on it. From there, the lightning burst forwards, slashing and striking against the ground before slamming into the tree. The force was enough to slice through the tree but not enough to knock it down. Still, even though the tree remained, Grimmjow turned to his teacher and replied,

Priest is once again, impressed. Without even going through a scroll, the student had mastered every low level lightning jutsu there is. For the rest, Priest would be his clones to create situations for the student, even attacking him. The student would be required to read the techniques given and use it, combined with other things he had learnt to address the situation and overpower the attacking clone(s).

With a single handseal, hundreds of copies of Priest would pop out everywhere while Priest commands them to stay behind him. He'll be using them in this training. Priest would also highlight his training methods to the student.
My training method is simple. I'll give you a scroll containing the technique you need to master and after that, you are to face situations created by my clones using the technique and any other subject of ninjutsu you have learnt to deal with it. Situations created could require you to defend, avoid but make sure you finish off the clone(s) so that the number of your enemy decreases along the way.

Catching the scroll, Kagara read it swiftly, understanding it quite easily, as the two clones charged him. Kagara, processing the situation and would channel Lightning chakra into both of his hands and swing them both at the same time, this would release not 1, but two waves of lightning towards both clones. The first wall would break the boulder and weaken the armor slightly. The second would do even more damage to the armor. As that armor took damage, Kagara began to swiftly weave the handseals needed and unleashed a singular bolt of lightning from his hand, piercing the armor and dispersing the clone. Sighing to himself, Kagara turned to the Priest and waited for the next scroll

Priest nods as the student finishes his task with ease. It was quite easy as they are in the easy stage yet. Priest gives the student another scroll containing 3 techniques this time. As soon as the student finished reading, 2 clones come forward. One would put the student in an A-rank paralysing genjutsu. After the genjutsu, the second would spit a B-rank earth spear to impale his neck. After that, they'll run towards him in a wide arc.
The techniques are quite basic. One forms ar armor of lightning around oneself. The second is used to dislodge rocks while the third is used to create lightning bolts that looks like horns.

Grabbing the next scroll, Kagara reads over it briefly familiarizing himself with the techniques. Convinced he had the techniques down to memory, he slipped the scroll into his robe and stood across from the clones. As the clones came at Kagara, the first one spat an earthern spike towards him. Channeling his raiton chakra through his whole body, Kagara created an armor that, upon impact, caused the earthern spike to crumble and break. Afterwards, Kagara would weave several handseals and channel his lightning into the rocks above them, causing the rocks to fall on either side of the clones pushing them back together. As the clones got closer once more, Kagara would raise his hand up and channel lightning into it before expending a blast of lightning in the shape of two horns that would hit both clones square in the chest causing them to disperse.

The second is quite simple as the student would be charging lightning into his hand and punching the ground, sending the lightning into it and around the student.
Without further ado, 3 clone would begin their assault on the student. They would blast forward raining hundreds of kunais towards the student from all sides.

Kagara once more, took the scroll from his sensei and read over the techniques, a sword technique, that raised his interests, and the other a nice area of effect jutsu. As Kagara was confident he had them ready he gestured for his sensei to come at him. As the clones began to run at Kagara, they unleashed a massive barrage of Kunai at him. Drawing his sword, Kagara inbued it with lightning before creating two copies. Crouching down, Kagara caused 1 eletrical blade to spin in front of him creating a small shield to repel the incoming kunai while he sent the other one flying across the battlefield to cut the first clone down. As the barrage finished, Kagara imbued his right arm in lightning before slamming it into the ground sending out bolts of lightning across the ground, which would meet the second clone at short range and pierce him multiple times causing it to finish. Kagara then stood back up and sheathed his sword, ready for the next jutsu.
