Raiton is one of the five basic elements in NP roleplaying. Raiton allows the user to, by increasing high frequency vibrations of the users chakra. here are some charakteristics:
¤The electricity of Raiton paralyses the target so that they cant move.
¤its fast moving and piercing charakteristic.
¤you can also infuse Raiton in weapons such as Kunais, swords and shurikens causing their piercing ability to increase.
Lightning and water is a deadly combo and its strong against Earth cuz it can pierce and crumble the earth.

Storm Release: Its performed by combining Raiton and Suiton.
Lightning and water is a deadly combo because lightning can travel through the water paralysing anyone that has contact with the water and its strong against Earth because it can pierce and crumble the earth. and i think its weak against Wind.

If you shoot a great fireball in the sky you create stormclouds and you can use the clouds to do powerful raiton jutsus like Chidori Kirin

But another answer was, that lightning and fire are both bright elements. Fire is the brightest element and can impair vision, but lightning is bright as well. It can make shadows for nara jutsu. It can also be hidden behind a fire jutsu. For example send a big ball of fire at the opponent, and soon after send a lightning attack. The opponent wouldn't see the lightning behind the fire. You just have to make sure it's not a stream of fire, and that it is large enough to hide the lightning.

This jutsu is pretty simple, but it's also short and vague. I want you to concentrate your lightning chakra and to then use it to create small bolts of lightning to attack this tree over here. Be sure to describe the effects of the lightning on the tree. The jutsu can reach up to Mid range, and should be useful against D and C ranked earth. Make sure to use the template, and to fill it in completely. Try to be as detailed as you can

Performing the Jutsu I begin by molding my chakra and then using chakra manipulation i manipulate it to Raiton chakra. when i feel that i have the right amount i release it, creating three small bolts of lighting, sending it towards the tree senseis pointing at. when all three hits they leave the spot they hit crumbled and pushed in a bit.
Combinations you could make with this jutsu: You can use this technique with (Suiton: Funshutsu Mizu Kinko) - Water Release: Gushing Water Imprisonment. to trap your oponent inside the prison and then send small bolts of lightning towards them, paralysing them and causing more damage before they die a long painfull drowning death.
Ways to Counter: You can blow the bolts away with a windtechnique i think

Performing the Jutsu I start to focus my chakra into lighting style. Once I've done that my chakra is discharged into five small lighting bolts at the tree sensei was pointing to.The area that was hit was charred and cracked.
Combinations you could make with this jutsu: I could start out by using Water Style:Water Wall. Once my opponent is inside the water I could active the lightning bolts causing my opponent to be injured farther.
Ways to Counter:You could counter it with a Wind Style jutsu or simply avoid contact
Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated): Can be used to paralyze an opponent so that you can deal the finishing blow
Rate the technique out of ten: 7.5/10 useful rewarding jutsu that doesn't take much

Very simple jutsu, but it's channeled through the ground. Channel raiton chakra into your hand, and then slam your hand into the ground releasing lightning through the hand into the ground so that it travels through the ground and hits a tree. The tree should be uprooted. Try it out, in battles it's important to say which hand you use, so be descriptive and say whether it's your right or left hand. The more detail, the better.
Again, perform the the technique and use the template to analyze the jutsu.

Performing the Jutsu I begin by gathering my chakra in my left handpalm and then, using chakra manipulation i transform it to Raiton chakra. when i feel that i have the right amount i release it to the ground by slaming my left palm and thus sending it towards a tree. the lightning hits the tree causing it to be upprooted.
Combinations you could make with this jutsu: its a good combination with water or to shock an oponent that is running towards you.
Ways to Counter: a D-rank wind technique is a good counter. you can blow the lighting away.
Uses of this technique (Battle orientated and non-battle orientated): Can be used to paralyze a taijutsu users feet/body, slowing them down or weakening their kicks
