Onto the next task at hand Sasori began to ready himself to perform the next jutsu. After his Senpai was done giving instructions to perform the technique, Sasori thought he would take his turn at doing it. He first began to gather his lightning chakra in his left hand. Once he was done gathering enough chakra he was reading himself to unleash it. After the right amount of chakra had been gathered in his hand he first released it in the form of raw lightning straight ahead of him aimed at his senpai. The lightning would not be specifically formed into a shape, but instead released into a wave of electrical bolts. Sasori's intent with the jutsu would be the shock his enemy ahead of him.
Advantages: This technique has the ability to work together with a water jutsu in order to increase its efficiency especially considering that this jutsu is most ideal when used with a water jutsu.
Disadvantages: It is only capable of working in short range greatly hindering its chances of reaching its designated target.
Techniques that counter this one: The below technique would be capable of dealing with the technique at hand, one because it covers the user's body in front of them limiting the chances that the jutsu is capable of reaching them.

However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work.
Standing atop this mountain channel your chakra into the rock in front of you and build up a small amount there. Once you have done so form the Snake>Upside down tiger hand seals and clap your hands. You should then focus your chakra forwards and use nature manipulation to change the chakra into lightning. Cause the lightning to break up and dislodge the rock and cause it to tumble forwards down the mountain. This technique is good in that it has both a tangible aspect with the rock and a energy aspect with the lightning. However you need to have the high ground to use it which limits its versatility.

Channel your chakra into your hand and build up a small amount there. Then focus your chakra forwards while changing it into lightning, use shape manipulation to form it into a horn that will grow bigger as it moves forwards.
This is a useful technique to pressure multiple enemies at once, its pretty quick since you only need to raise your hand and channel the chakra. The glow that it creates in your hand could give away the attack to your opponent however.

Description: The user will channel their lightning chakra into their sword to increase its cutting capabilities, and then levitate it in front of them. They will then multiply the sword creating two extra physical copies which are then all manipulated to spin rapidly and are controlled to fly towards and cut through the opponent/s through hand gestures. While controlling the weapons, the user cannot mold chakra for other techniques and needs to keep focus.
Channel your chakra into your sword and build up a small amount there. You should then focus the chakra to coat the sword in focused lightning, you can then use this lightning yo levitate the sword. With it levitating in front of you manipulate the lightning to create two duplicates of the sword which you can then use to attack your target with hand gestures.
This is a cool technique with a few different applications, the duplicate swords makes it harder for the opponent to deal with. A good way to use this would be to increase its cutting potential while using the sword in close combat and then suddenly levitating the sword and launch it towards your enemy. Be aware that you cannot use other ninjutsu techniques while this is active however.

This is an alright technique, its fairly simple to use since it only requires chakra to be built up. It also affects the ground all around you up to short range which is a plus as it provides more options for attack and defense. Though the lightning bolts that form around your arm as you build up the chakra could give this technique away to your opponent.

Very good, now try putting together a move using three of the C rank lightning techniques that we just learned. Pretend we are in a battle and begin an opening move with those techniques, try to be creative and combo them together if you can.
After that we will continue on with 2 techniques at a time in the B ranks.

The form the Ox hand seal and extend your palms forwards, as you do so focus the chakra outwards and use nature manipulation to change it into lightning. After forming lightning use shape manipulation to form it into a wall in front of yourself that can protect you from attacks.
This is a relatively quick jutsu that can be used for both offense and defense depending on the situation. Its one dimensional however as it only defends you from frontal attacks, the short range also hinders its usefulness. Its a good choice to use against attackers coming into close range and the like.

This is a useful technique that can be formed as a quick defense with no hand seals that can then be turned into an attack using the wave of lightning form. Its short range limit is a drawback though as it can defend you but then not reach an opponent who is in Mid range.

That was good apart from I'm not sure exactly what you meant with your counters. Can you clarify what you mean by "Use a jutsu that targets around the user."
When I say attack with a jutsu around, I mainly mean that one could use an earth jutsu if in range to create spikes or a similar effect to pierce the enemy from behind since the techniques mainly protect from the front.

Description: The user gathers lightning chakra around his fist, generating a sphere of pure lightning around it. The user can then punch a target, unleashing the lightning in the form of a localized electrical explosion.
Channel your lightning chakra into your hand and build up a good amount there, once you have done so focus the lightning outwards. As you focus the chakra change it into lightning and use shape manipulation to form the electricity into an orb around your hand. Then punch my clone with the lightning and detonate it, angling the explosion forwards so only your opponent is effected.
This is a cool technique that can be a quick surprise in close quarters fights. It doesn't require hand seals so it can be formed during a tai attack, plus the explosion can be hard to avoid if your that close to your opponent. However that is the limit of its uses since it cannot reach further than short range.

Description: The user will raise his hand or a weapon and send an electrical discharge into the clouds, allowing them to create lightning strikes in the desired location. The discharges are triggered right after the technique and cannot be delayed or prepared before hand but are quite fast.
Grab your choice of weapon and channel your lightning chakra into it, building up a decent amount within it, though this can also be done with just your hand. Once you have done so focus the built up chakra upwards into the sky, using nature manipulation to form it into an electrical discharge that will give the clouds an electrical charge. By doing so you can then trigger the clouds to release bolts of lightning at your opponent. Although they are fast, they are not as fast as something like Kirin.
This technique can be good if you have an opening to set it up, but the drawback is that 99% of the time the electrical discharge that must first be created gives the technique away. It also triggers straight away and cannot be delayed which was once a tactic with this technique. Its main advantage is its speed and the fact that it comes from above which may make it harder for the opponent to defend against.

He first started by generating his lightning chakra in his right arm where he would follow up by using shape manipulation to cause for lightning to spring forth from his hand in the form of a sphere. Description: After the user performs the Ram → Boar → Dog → Bird → Hare hand seals, he releases his lightning chakra into the ground, using it to forcefully shape the earth into 4 big pillars (proportionate to the target area) around the target. Once they rise, they unleash a barrage of lightning bolts, currents and shocks to whatever is inside, paralyzing, shocking and damaging the target from all around.
Focus your lightning chakra into the ground around my clone and form the Ram>Boar>Dog>Bird>Hare hand seals, focusing the chakra upwards. Use the built up lightning chakra to manipulate the earth and form 4 large pillars that rise in a square around my clone. You should then channel the chakra through the pillars and release it from the top, using nature manipulation to change the chakra into bolts of lightning. The result would have lightning coming from 4 different directions, with my clone shocked and paralyzed in the middle.
This is a quite useful technique that is fairly unique among lightning jutsu. The bolts come from multiple directions which makes it harder to defend against, plus it also parralyzes them if it makes contact. As long as them are within the four pillar formation they will not be able to dodge the electricity. The main drawback of this technique is the formation of the pillars themselves which must be done first, as this would give away your intent. It also has a semi-long stream of hand seals which could make it harder to pull off.

Description: After doing the Rabbit → Dog → Boar → Ram → Rat hand seals, the user generates a large amount of lightning from their hands, which can then be either released in an unfocused manner or passed through conductive materials to improve the electrical power of the technique, namely in conjunction with Water Techniques. In fact, certain users have showed that its possible to, if the user has the ability to mold both Water and Lightning chakras at the same time (for example, Darui who has Storm Release), unleash this particular technique at the same time as they exhale/spit some water technique (which needs to consist of a stream of water), combining both in a seemingly consecutive move. Other ninjas will need to use a clone or an ally for the same effect.
Channel your lightning chakra into your hand and build up a decent amount there, as you do so form the Rabbit>Dog>Boar>Ram>Rat hand seals. You should then touch the ground and focus the lightning chakra outwards, using nature manipulation to form it into unfocused electricity as you do so. Direct the lightning forwards through the ground until it reaches my clone, where it will then shock him from the exposure. If you have the capabilities you can also use this in conjunction with a water technique to increase its lethality.
This technique is not that useful for average bios since there are other techniques that can channel unfocused electricity in a similar fashion, yet better. This is further proven by the several hand seals you need to form to use this which makes it that much harder to pull off. However if you happen to have a Darui bio or similar that can use lightning and water in conjunction then this technique can be quite useful to make your water techniques that much stronger and deadly.

Counters: Propel yourself into the air out of range of the enemy's pillars.
Speed: Hand seals cause for it to take longer to perform, but happens right under the enemy.

2) Normal user have to use a clone or ally in order to use in combination with water.

I like your new avatar its pretty cool, I always liked Sasori he was a good character. Note for that first tech though, the pillars themselves aren't actually made of lightning, they're stone that release lightning. Next jutsu.

Description: The user brings their hands together and an electrical energy will begin to crackle around them. They will then slam their hands to the ground to send an electric current racing through the earth. When the current approaches its target, it can split into multiple tendrils to attack separate targets individually.
For this jutsu channel your lightning chakra into your hands and build up a decent amount there while you bring them together like a prayer. You should then slam your hands to the ground while focusing the lightning chakra into the earth, use nature manipulation to form it into unfocused electricity. Direct the current towards my clone and split the lightning into multiple tendrils to attack him from different angles.
This is a simple and useful jutsu, quick to use with no hand seals and the attack can be spread to come from multiple directions to make it harder to counter. However the electricity around your hands before you slam them would give away its nature and the jutsu is slightly limited since it goes through the ground which means its easier to escape by simply going up and getting off the ground.

Description: The user raises their hands to the air, charging lightning. He will then unleash the lightning energy at the enemy target in the form of a lightning bolt.
Once again focus your lightning chakra into your hands and build up a decent amount there, as you do so raise them into the air. Once you have done so thrust your hands forwards and focus your chakra, using nature manipulation to form lightning from your chakra and use shape manipulation to form it into a bolt. By doing so you should be able to release a simple bolt of lightning at my clone.
This is a fairly simple jutsu which can be pretty quick to use, the whole raising your hands thing can be pretty ambiguous so it can be done fast enough. This is a rather simple technique that can be used to pressure your opponent.

1) To start off, Sasori quickly claps his hands together while at the same time he would be focusing his lightning chakra around him. Due to him focusing his lightning chakra his in hands it sends off an energy wave which causes for land around him to crackle. Finding it the perfect time to activate his technique he swiftly slams his hands on the ground sending an intense lightining current through the ground towards the clone. Just before the lightning got close enough to the clone he causes for it to erupt from the ground in the form of several tendrils ready to electrify the clone from multiple angles.
Advantages:
1) Can reach up to long range, and also attack multiple enemies with tendrils.
2) Good for keeping off of the ground.
Disadvantages:
1) Eletrical charge around the user could give off the user off the technique.
2) Can be easily easped by going into the air.
Counters: Use a basic wind technique to launch yourself into the air.
Speed: Hapens pretty quickly since it does not require hand seals.
2) Sasori starts off by swfitly raising his right hand into the air. He then follow up by focusing his lightning chakra into his right arm charging it with electrcity. After focusing his lghting chakra into his hands he then use shape manipulation to take control of his lightning chakra from the skies. Not even having to lower his hand he finihses up by directing a strong, electrified, cyan colore bolt of lightning down at a clone nearby him which would hit it with an intense surge of lightning.
Advantages:
1) Can be used to limit the enemy's air movement as well as ground ones.
2) Since its only raising the user's one hand the user can use their other ones to throw kunai to limit their movement even more.
Disadvantages:
1) Probably flash of light will give off the usage of the technique.
2) Since the user is raisning their hand in the air it could give away the use of a technique from above.
Counters: Use a wind technique to provide a good barrier from the lightning reaching you.
Speed: Pretty swiftly since th euser only has the raise their hand into the air.
