Well Raiton/lighting is one of the basic 5 element/technique. The user use this to generate lightning by increasing the high frequency vibration of their chakra, allowing for piercing damage and fast movement. Lighting is strong against earth because it can easily travel through and break the ground. lighting is weak against wind because it is a natural electricity insulator. how is that senpai?

i gather raiton chakra up to my hand and use shape manipulation to create a small lighting bolt that i then release towards my enemy up to mid range way.

Ok. SO now give me a simple advantage of using that raition jutsu in combat. Give me a disadvantage (If you can think of any), a way you would counter this jutsu and use it in a combo.

Advantage:

• 1. Raiton allowds you to launch several shots in succession, in most case allowing you to barrage your opponents from several different angle.

Disadvantage:

• 1. This technique isn't very pron to combos with other technique, especially those of other elements.

How will i counter this jutsu:
well let's say lightning vs water. Caution is to be taken when this match up occurs. Though water can be used in conjunction with lightning to cause extra damage to the opponent, it can be turned against you as well.

Strategies and combinations:
hmm well using hiding mist jutsu which would cover the battle field in mist and blocking everyone's vision, I could then create many bolts and just send them everywhere until I strike my opponent. lol

How you would counter it:
As soon as i can anticipate the lightning bolts, i can use a wind technique to send a whirlwind to blow the lightning bolts away.

How you perform it:
First i perform the require hand seal for the jutsu which are Tiger → Snake → Dog, and then i gather chakra while stretching out my arm and manipulating it to my right hand. i then proceed in making the chakra into lightning bolts then quickly releasing the electrical bolts from my right hand and hit my targets.

Question(s):
Do they have more disadvantages to this jutsu? because i can only think of one senpai.

There isn't no specific set of advantages to the jutsu. They all come from your own personal perspective of how you understand the usage of the jutsu; simple. Another is that it can avoid various obstacles.

(Raiton: Jibashi) - Lightning Release: Electromagnetic Murder

Range: Short (Short-Long depending on the water technique)

Damage Points: 30 (+10 to a water technique when used in conjunction)
Description: This jutsu allows the user to create a wave of electricity from the user's hands. This jutsu can vary in power from a small surge to shock an opponent to a powerful stream of lightning capable of ripping through solid rock. It is ideal to use in conjunction with a water jutsu.

Straight forward here. No hand seals, just channel your lightning chakra in one of your arm. Only reaches short range when you are using the air as a medium; up to long range it can go if you channel it through a water source that reaches up to long range.

Two advantages:
1.It is a quick attack and it adds +10 damage if you use a water technique along side it.
2.it takes away the concentration of your enemy by (interfering with his/her technique.)

Two disadvantages:
1.It's best of ideal to use it along with water, if not then i will say it's crap.
2.It originally a short distance jutsu.

Strategies and combinations:
I can wet my opponent and then electrocute him which would increasing the damage, granting much more lethality to the attack since water conducts electricity it will leave my opponent shocked and fired, it is also essential for ripping apart rocks and earth which my opponent can use as a measure of defense to hide behind them etc.

How you would counter it:
Some strong wind jutsu would do a trick. also I can avoid by using some jutsu to get above it (which might be kinda difficult because this jutsu is short range plus it is fast.)

How you perform it:
I begin to gather a specific amount of chakra within my body, and manipulating it towards my hand and using nature manipulation to convert the chakra into raiton and then firing it at a clone dummy at mid range. I then perform this jutsu again near a small stream of water. while i put my palm into the water i then release raiton bolts sending my attack towards my dummy which is at a good amount of feet from which i stand.

Description: The user surrounds themselves with electricity. The intense electric field protects them by electrocuting anyone who comes into contact with it, but only works for one attack

This is basically just a cheap weaker rip off of the raikage's lightning Armour xD This doesn't grant your any sort of speed advantages though, so remember that. A jutsu that makes electricity flows around your body to protect you of some sort.

(Raiton: Iwa Nadare) - Lightning Style: Stone Avalanche

Descripton: By forming hand seals Snake → Upside down Tiger → Hands clapped together when near a cliff , the user causes stone and rock to become dislodged and rain down on anyone below it by releasing a wave of electrical energy which weakens the rock and makes it fall as it crumbles. However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work.

Perform the hand seals and then quickly clapped them together near a cliff. As you clapped your hands, a electrical surge would flow from your hands and loosen the rocks on and around the cliff. Causing the rocks to fall down and rain on the target, if he/she is near the cliff.

1. Useful against taijutsu.
2. Can paralyze/electrocute opponent who tries to land a physical attack.

Two disadvantages
1.Unable to use in specific surrounding.
2.Can only work against one attack.

Strategies and combinations:
I can practically use a water based attack to wet and soak my opponent if he's gonna attack me straight on with a taijustu move, hence as soon as he's wet, and comes close to try to initiate a taijustu attack, I can put on the Armour thus electrocuting him, since he's covered in water, it'll have an heavier impact. I can also see myself using this technique in a close range battle, making my free form taijutsu even more deadly.

How you would counter it:
I can use a wind jutsu to blow the raiton Armour off, or in cases launch multiple projectiles, since it can only guard my opponent once against an attack.


How you perform it:
As I learn the tech and it's basics, I ease my mind and take a deep breath and then I gather a specific amount of raiton chakra and this release it around my body and create a shield which can guard me from one incoming attack.

After causing the avalanche I can see myself using the swamp of the underworld technique or that C-rank water jutsu which allows you to trap your opponent with that sticky liquid. hence causing them to be crushed.

How you would counter it:
I can see myself hardening my entire body and basically taking the hit of the rocks or graving them and throwing them back at my opponent. I could also use a strong wind jutsu to send a rain of rocks back at my opponent.

How you perform it:
I perform the specific hand seals for this jutsu and then quickly clap them together near a cliff. As i clap my hands, an electrical surge flow from my them which loosen up the earth on and around the cliff causing the rocks to fall down and rain on my opponent who is near the cliff.

Description: The user will raise their hand infront of them like a sword. It will begin glowing in a pale yellow before releasing bolts of lightning in the shape of a horn that spread outwards, allowing it to attack multiple targets.

Raise your hand, or extend it outwards like you are pointing a sword to someone. Channel your lightning chakra into your arm, and it will begin to glow. As the glow happens, you quickly release bolts of lightning which will take the shape of horns. Can be used to attack multiple enemies.
