ightning is one of the five bsic elements. It is a destructive element with devastating power that allows the user to generate lightning by increasing the high frequency vibrations of their chakra, allowing for piercing damage and fast movement. Its can be used with water because water conducts it. Lightning is weak against wind because wind can be used to insulate and nullify the lightning. Its strong against earth because it destroys and crumbles it. In real life, lightning is made by clouds with charged particles reacting with their opposite.

Sasuke, Dariu, and Kakuzu used raiton effectively in the manga

Now tell me how lightning feels. If lightning were an emotion, what would it be? How does lightning affect your fives senses (look like, smell like, feel like, ect.)? What does exposure to lightning do to objects? After that, I want you to meditate on the lightning which will be above your head when you finish; feel it's energy, and become one with it.

i think lightening as an emotion would be excited,wild and destructive force seeing that its just pure energy...it mostly takes the form of blue or yellow zig zag waves of energy. It is extremely fast and can cause immense pain from numbing of body parts to frying of body cells U_U

lightening can also be channeled through metallic objects. this greatly increases their speed and power.It can also be channeled through the body to form a cloak . this makes the individual as fast as swift release,,,

Lightning combines with water well, as it can conduct through the water, making it more deadly

...i focus on the spark that is above my head. i think about the immense energy that lightening has, its brute force and devastating capablilities. sorta like a lightening/thunder storm.after some time of doing this i finally get the the concept of lightening release i channel my chakra into my hand, keeping my initial feelings in mind to envelop my arms with lightening energy

• Condense your chakra outside your body
• Continue to condense raiton chakra until the chakra's energy begins to leap across the air, creating bolts of lightning
• If you want to focus this technique, only focus your chakra around one part of your body (hand, foot, ect.)

i focus and concentrate my raiton chakra into my right palm. i continue to channel more chakra there gathering a substantial amount there. i then apply a little chakra molding and thrust my palm forward sending bolts of lightening across the field from my palm.

Cons
though effective,it isnt very powerful

-quick as it doesnt require handseals and provides quick defense/offense

i channel my chakra into my right hand. i continue to channel more into it cocentrating a large enough amount there and begin molding it into lightening.then i slam my palm on the ground releasing all of it molded into lightening into the ground making it move in a straight path in front of me.
