Alright, in this first method, you'll learn how to manipulate lightning in such a way to create projectiles. These projectiles will generally take the shape of bolts of lightning and, due to the nature of lightning, they're meant to be fast, dense, and possess the ability to penetrate and even stun your opponents. The method focuses on channeling your chakra into the area of release, and then releasing all that chakra at once in order to get the desired results of the jutsu. Do you understand?

Also, have I gone over with you the template I require you to fill out upon finishing each method? If I havn't then tell me so I can explain that to you.

Combination

Basically, in the four methods there are techniques grouped together because they share similar traits and learning them individually over and over again is pointless, which is why we (Lili, Scorps, and by extention of the latter two myself) split them up into seprate categories. Now, as there are similar traits for each technique within a category, some of those traits are useful and good and some are a hinderance. After I teach you the method, show you the techniques along with the explination of all the techniques, I want you to look over them carefully and identify what each of the techniques share that are good (advantages) and bad (disadvantages)

Then I want you to think of some strategies you would use with some of these techniques. We can discuss some strategies together, you can ask for advice about how you'd use them in battle, in conjunction with other elements, etc.

Then I simply want you to do a two or three move combination using some lightning techniques. Feel free to use any other techniques you want to assist you, but I just want to see that you know how to use the element ^^ Understand?

Alright, good. Now that we can start. For this first technique, I want you to focus your raiton chakra into your palms until you get a moderate amount of lightning surgeing around palms. Once you've done so, I want you to release all that chakra you've stored into your hands. Use shape manipulation to confine it to look like a bolt of lightning. Aim it for that rock over there *points to a rock short range from you*

I begin by gathering my lightning chakra throughout my body. Once I gather enough I channel the chakra into both my palms giving it a glow and eventually a surge of lightning is creating in both palms. I focus on the lightning manipulating the shape of the lighting giving it the shape of small bolts of lightning. When ready I shoot out the lightning in bolts at the rock nearby destroying it.

Perfect. Now I want you to do the same thing, only this time you're going to create several bolts of electricity (five). You're going to begin in the same exact way you did before, gathering your chakra in your hands until it begins to crackle. However when you release, you're going to do that a bit differently. Instead of releaseing all the chakra at once like you did last time, you're going to split it up and ration the chakra equally into each bolt you fire. This is so you don't have to release all the chakra and then gather it all again and take more time. This way, you can fire the bolts of lightning in a fairly rapid succession.

Now give it a try.

I begin by gathering up a fair amount lightning chakra in my hands and begins to focus it. I maintain the flow of the lightning till it begins to crackle and glow, as I see the lightning, knowing this time is different from the previous jutsu, I channel an equal amount of lighting in each finger of my hands making it easier to fire the lightning. I begin to release the lightning from my fingers at a steady pace till I get the hang of it. I fire the lightning at a fast pace till the rock is destroyed.

Now the next thing we're going to do is create a ball of electricity. Following the same thing you've done so far in terms of gathering your chakra; you're going to gather your lightning chakra in both your hands until you get a fairly descent amount of lightning crackeling around you. You'll hold your hands apart from each other and you will channel the chakra in the space between your hands. Using shape manipulation, you'll shape the lightning into a ball. This won't be tightly constricted as if you were doing a Rasengan some of the lightning might flail since it's a wild element but that's alright.

Now, *points to a rock over in the distance* Aim make the ball of lightning and aim it at the rock. As lightning contains a lot of velocity, that also translates into how much power it can generate.

Alrighty. I begin by gathering my lightning chakra. Once gathered I channel the chakra into both my hands at a steady pace. When enough chakra has been channelled into my hands a yellow glow begins to emit from them the yellow glow turns into crackling bolts of lightning that emit from my hands. I use shape manipulation changing the lightnings shape into a ball. As the ball is created I lift both hands out in front of me ready to shoot out the ball of lightning. Once ready I shoot out the ball of lightning towards the pesky rock a few yards away from us, destroying it.

Alright *creates two lightning clones* Alright, these guys are going to go mid-ranged from you and I want you to create a spear of lightning that you will spit out from your mouth. You will first channel your chakra into your throat and upon spitting it, you will shape it into a long, narrow, sharp, and dense spear. However you're only going to spit one spear. In mid stride towards my clones, I want you so split the chakra inside the spear in half and create two spears which are equally as powerful as each other. This is a little more complicated than the others but I'm sure you can do it.

As I see you create 2 lightning clones and hear your instructions I get ready. I gather my lightning chakra in my throat. Once I gather the lightning chakra in my throat I channel the chakra up my throat where I spit out a large, narrow spear of lightning that travels at a fairly fast speed at your clones. As it leaves my throat I immediately spilt the chakra into two thus splitting the long spear now into two spears with equal chakra and equal in size and power. The spears hit your clones causing them to poof.

You use a little more shape manipulation for this technique. You hold your hand out and shoot various bolts of electricity from your hand in the shape of horns.

Descripton: The user after performing the hand seal snake emits lightning in the shape of a spear from their hands whilst kakuzu lightning mask emits it from its mouth, which then pierces the enemy. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock; meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This strong attack can be defended against by an equally strong attack of the same element such as Raikiri.

Same technique as the above, only this time you require the Snake hand seal, you're shooting it from your hands and also the range is a little shorter this time

Advantages to Method

• All the given jutsu, require no handseals making the whole action very quick.
  
• Can split up and hit multiple targets
  
• Shaped in a projectile shape, reducing its air resistance and increasing its speed.

Disadvantages to Method

• Some of the jutsu's only reach short range.

Strategies

• Use a lightning jutsu to paralyze the opponent and follow up with another attack.
  
• Shoot a lightning jutsu that's kind of big in size, e.g lightning ball at the ground creating a large ' diversion.

Combination

Use lightning ball and shoot at the ground a few yards from the opponent, to raise debris and chunks of earth into the view of the oppponent. Then follow up with lightning spear, to shoot a large bolt of lightning at the blinded foe. You can also split the spears into a row of spears giving you more of a shot at hitting him.

Alright this is good enough for now. I'm going to be using a new training style to help us get along with this more smoothly. In short, this new training style is like this;

(1) I will give you the method and explain to you in depth, what the method entails and then allow for any questions of clarrification

(2) I will give you bullet points of words/phrases that I will ask you to define/explain that will show me if you understand this method if I am satisfied with your explanations, we will continue. If not I will have you tweak them.

(3) I will then post all the jutsu within the category with full explinations and then you will have to do the following
~Explain the Advantages of the Method
~Explain the Disadvantages of the Method
~Discuss Strategies you could use with jutsu from this method
If I'm satisfied with these three aspects, we will continue and repeat the cycle from the top.

Method 2: Currents/Wide Spread

The techniques in this next method all adhere to constant waves or currents of lightning, meaning you're constantly placing chakra into the technique as opposed to projectiles where you gather all your chakra and then release it all in one/several condensed shots. This is where the element gets into the real conductive nature of Lightning. In gathering your chakra for these techniques you will start like you would any other technique, you gather the fixed amount of chakra in the point of release. However, instead of releasing it in a confined condensed projectile you release a constant flow of lightning from the point of release and, generally through a medium like the ground, a weapon, or an object. You will not be releasing your chakra all at once, it will be flowing out of you from the point of release in a steady manor until the chakra you've built up for the technique is gone. Since you're focusing less on condensing the chakra and more on spreading it out to cover a wider range, this takes away from force and peircing ability and you get more of the electrocution properties. The techniques in this method are more so designed to have that stunning and overloading the body with lightning
