Lets do this !
Lightning Release or Raiton, is one of the five basic elements in Narutoverse. Lightning is strongest against Earth element as it is shown to easily travel through it. (which i have always found weird its not a conductor of electricity...but i digress) It is weak against the Wind element, since wind is a natural electrical insulator to the electricly charged particals. Lightning is best used with the Water element, as it can be used to transfer the electricity through the water particals and zap an opponent.
Lightning release is also one of the components used to form the KG Storm Release.
Lightning users: Kakashi, Darui
Lightning Jutsus: Kirin, Chidori, Lightning Armour
Sorry...you could say I was...premature!!! AAARRRGGGHHHHH....aarrgghh.... -__-
*With spam Cerberus until he posts* :scorps:
What is Raiton:
Lightning or Raiton is one of the basic 5 elements in naruto. Lightning release allows the user to create lightning by increasing their chakra flow to a faster pace and vibrating the actual chakra. Lightning can range from numbing the opponent to killing them.
How Does this Nature Act:
Lightning behaves in uncontrolled manner if unfocused like Chidori Nagashi. The lightning is emitted in all directions from the users body.
It can also be controlled with its shape and size like a Chidori Senbon, the lightning is formed into multiple small senbons with precise control.
Relationships to other 4 Natures:
Lightning can be used in conjunction with different elements. Water conducts electricity creating a powerful lightning/water combo. With the speed of the lighting and the power from the water this delivers a mighty punch.
Lightning and water creates a kekkei genkai called storm release.
Storm release is created by combining water and lighting chakra. Beams of electricity are based, but the beams have the ability to flow like water.
Lightning with fire is a combo that creates nothing better than using them separately, since fire doesn't conduct lightning and lightning doesn't conduct fire. One way to successfully use them together is firing the fire jutus first than a few seconds later shoot out lightning at the fire towards the opponent. The lightning would travel faster than the fire reaching the opponent with the fire jutsu at the same time. If the opponent tries to counter the fire with a water jutsu the lightning would zap the water and zap them. If they try to use a wind jutsu to counter the lightning the fire would be enhanced with the wind creating a fire wind combo.
With earth it wont really work out since earth is weak to lighting, lightning can travel through the ground tearing the earth. You could use it as a distraction to create a ''smokescreen'' of rubble in between both of you.
Lightning and wind wont work out since wind is a natural electrical insulator. The lightning would become a dud. Or would it O_O.....
Very good, Also, Lightning and Fire are two of my favorite elements to use since you can use that combination of elements' to knock away Lightning's weakness of Wind. Using Lightning first and then Fire wouldl usually prevent your opponent from using wind based techniques since they'd have to look forward to the fire technique, which could effortlessly go through most wind based techniques.

Now I want you two to sit and meditate and associate the nature of lightning with your body and you're chakra's natural flow. What I mean is, in order for you to use this nature, you must first be able feel your inner chakra acting the way Lightning acts: savage, powerful, fast, hard to control, free willed. When both of you are done, we shall move one to the real good stuff ^^
Must resist....urge to...throw water on you guys >_>
Alright, now I'm sure you're familiar with the method of training Lili and I do so I won't waste your time explaining that much to you about it. There are several techniques that contain similar methods of release in each element and in order to reduce time, increase efficiency, and obtain better results, the element is split up into four cageories. Each technique in a category contains similar methods in which to release them and learning the general method of how to do so is much better than doing it several times in different techiques. In Lightning the methods are:
Method 1: Bolts/Projectiles
Method 2: Currents/Wide Spread
Method 3: Melee
Method 4: Specifics (Kirin/16 Pillar/Blinding Light/Vortexes)
Now I'll teach you the methods for each, yada, yada, yada and post the jutsu in each category with explinations and you ask questions, yada, yada, yada.
What I do different from Lili and Scorps, is that I have a test at the end of each method where you have to fill out the following template:
Advantages of Method:
Disadvantages of Method:
Strategies:
Combination
Each method has techniques in them that repeat in some way, shape or form. What makes them different is that they have minor specifics. However there are traits and properties about each jutsu in a method (minus the last one) that are repetitve and some of those traits are good and some are bad. So basically I want you to just point out the advantages and the flaws in each method that every one of the jutsu share in common. No need to do each one individually, just do the general I want to see if you guys can notice the patterns.
For strategies I want you to think of how you'd best use the techniques in a combat situation. We can discuss them if you like after since you're allowed to ask questions and bounce around ideas. You don't have to give me strategies for every single technique just use the ones you think are the best and more efficient. Pick some that you like or talk in the general sense, it doesnt' matter, just think of strategies.
Combinations, just some basic two or three move combination. You guys know the deal with that is so I don't need to treat you guys like noobs and explain it. You can use other techniques you've learned as well just use at least 2 Lightning techniques or use one but in a way that shows you know how to use the techniques in collaboration with the others. Any questions?

Love this! I would have repped you, but I have to spread some reputation first. So I just wanted to be noted that this is an awesome initiative.
Btw, are you sure this training is working? You haven't even started on the Methods yet, whereas most of mine are already at the 2nd method, starting on the thirds. Reevaluate your reasoning and think about Individual Sessions.
Thank you sensei, though I have to give credit to Mathy :ghehe: When he trained me, he used similar means by having me think of advantages and disadvantages to every technique, I took the strategies thing recently when I began training with you since we did discuss ways in which to use the techniques.
Though I think you're right with the training since it does hamper others when trying to keep more than one student going at a time, when each have their own pace they like to move at.
Of course I'm right, I'm always right. And when I'm wrong, I change the rules.
