How did the Third Raikages Raiton spear cut through Dodai's rubber ball when lightning doesn't work on rubber

He basically uses the lightning armor to "sharpen" his hand, rather than using the lightning itself to cut.

Other than that, it's Naruto. Physics doesn't apply.

It's no ordinary lightning attack. He pinpointed it and focused all that lightning into his fingers, thats how he can easily cut through most defenses

Rubber is made of earth and fire mix. Its safe to assume it has far more earth then fire, cuz its not hot. So therefore it will be cut by raiton as its still mainly earth

Remember that one nature can overcome another if it's more powerful.

For example, Water Release is strong against Fire Release but Great Fire Annihilation will overpower Wild Water Wave.

Besides the Rubber Wall is a Lava Release ninjutsu, and that is made of Earth and Fire, and Lightning>Earth, Lightning=Fire.
