Trunks stands on the training grounds, awaiting his teacher's arrival patiently.

Alright, so do you prefer a RP style or a straight forward style? If it is RP, which character you prefer? Lancer (nice and cool) or Rai (dark and gloomy).

Well, in all honesty I would normally say just a straight forward approach, but I want to RP with you, so Imma go with RP style. And as for your character, I think I would like Lancer, simply because he and Trunks know each other from the war. Maybe we can mess around with that a bit lol. Unless you had something else in mind, I'm really not picky when it comes to training lol

I like to make it comfortable for the trainee.

*Turns into Lancer*

The irony in this, that I must teach a former enemy an ability I learned from the enemy a long time ago. This goes beyond inception. But we share a common purpose and goal; to gain power and strength. Rain will surely do this, and you, being a son of the rain, should be well informed on it. Tell me, what makes rain so special ?

As Trunks looked upon his new teacher, feelings of hate and disgust overcome him. What his actions caused to his friend and guard Kaname, and how that would eventually lead to his dissertion of the Rain. All of this and more could be tied into the actions of this one man, yet Trunks couldn't allow himself to release these feelings. For some reason, he had chosen to accept Trunks as a student, so he should be thankful for at least that. It would be enough that Trunks would allow himself to seem lucid and calm, though the internal conflict he felt was greater than any war that he personally seen.

The rain means a lot to me, personally. I was raised in it, and molded by it, having grown up in rain country. Even when it seemed no one was there, the rain offered a cool hand to comfort my hot head. Within my land, it binds us together, by being a connection that all of us endure. I know that this isn't what you are looking for, but I felt it needed to be said.

Rain is a naturally occurring source of water that comes down in blankets of droplets, occurring one after the other. This gives Rain users a constant supply of ammunition to fuel their jutsu. Also, the way that rain seems to cover entire areas make the surface area of affected jutsu a lot larger than standard techniques. Fire users should be weary while facing someone with Rain jutsu, as it is naturally stronger due to the extinguishing nature of rain. Also, if there is too much rain coming down, lightning users may hurt themselves, but this entirely dependent on which jutsu are used, how hard it is raining, and other factors.

Lancer can sense the animosity from this Ame ninja. His village must've really done a number on his people. Lancer could care less though, business is business, war is war, and life is life. Life, can sometimes be ruthless, and Lancer is the most ruthless.

"Not too bad Ame ninja. You're clearly knowledgeable in the art of rain. Do me a favor now..."

Yeah, sure thing Trunks says as he quickly weaves through a set of handseals to concentrate his chakra into the atmosphere above. Using this chakra, Trunks condensed a large amount of water vapor, and forms a large set of rain clouds overhead. As the first of the clouds begin to release their holdings of rain, and the first drops hit Trunks' person, he allows the cooling nature of the rain calm him internally. Now, he was comfortable, now he felt at home. Now I'm ready Trunks says to his teacher as the rainfall grows a bit heavier.

(Suiton: Ukojizai no Jutsu) - Water Style: Rain Tiger at Will Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird โ†’ Rat โ†’ Ox โ†’ Monkey โ†’ Rat โ†’ Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

Alright, young ninja. You got the basic rain down. Let's see how well you can actually manipulate it.

(Ame Tama no Jutsu) - Rain Bullet Technique
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: By focusing chakra into the user's hand they are able to gather rain drops towards their palms, the rain is molded together by chakra and forged into a high pressured orb. Once done the orb will shoot away from the users hand and the user will be knocked back. If it hits the enemy the enemy will be sent away flying or unbalanced.

The current rain that is falling, draw it into your palm and manipulate its shape into an orb. After the completion of the shape manipulation bars I want you to throw it towards me. It should be able to send me flying or get me off balance. Cmon now, this is the closest you will ever be able to inflict harm on a Kiri ninja.

Sorry for the delay, I guess I missed where it said you replied

Trunks listens carefully to his teachers instructions, nodding affirmatively after each point. Just as he is preparing himself to attempt the technique, he hears the last line escape his teacher's lips. This is the closest you will ever be able to inflict harm on a Kiri ninja. Normally, this would set Trunks off, but years of training his mind would see him as calm as ever, although albeit more enthused to start.

Be careful about what you wish for, Sensei Trunks says as the rain pooling on his brow drips. Concentrating his chakra into the rain falling around him, Trunks forces the droplets to converge into his palm. Forming the droplets into an orb and taking careful aim for his teacher's torso, Trunks launches the orb at his teacher in the quickest manner possible. Immediately sent backwards from the blowback of the technique, Trunks watches his teacher intensely to see his reaction while regaining his balance.

*Lancer slaps away the petty little orb*

Tsk, Tsk. You really have no shot against me. I wonder what they teach in Ame? Cause skills is not one of them.

(Secchakuzai no Kouu) - Rain of Glue
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: When user makes it rain and then changes the compounds of the water(materials in the air). Then makes the rain sticky which binds the opponent in place for 2 turns.this jutsu lasts for 2 turns.

See the rain now? Do something useful and try to make it an adhesive liquid, similar to the C-Rank water syrup technique. This will be able to slow an opponent done- easier to catch and lace combos with.

Trunks grits his teeth at Lancers nonchalant way of insulting his village. Soon enough he would show his teacher what he had learned from his village, but for now he would do as he was told. He begins by concentrating his chakra into the rain. Using nature manipulation, he then alters the density and adhesive nature of the falling drops. The result is a heavier rain that plops as it lands on the ground. It covers the surrounding area with a thick layer of syrup like water, that sticks to everything but Trunks due to his chakra being imbued in the substance.
