Rain is a special element we use in our Rp. it was originated from amegakure in the manga/anime. In our rp, we use this with the combine elements water and wind. In the manga/anime rain was seen used by nagato, and yahiko. Don't remember seeing konan use it, but meh idk. Rain is usually known as a precipitation. Rain form around high temperature areas. With this, clouds form (rain clouds) and release rain droplets soon after. Then with our chakara we can manipulate this rain O_O Rain is also weak against earth. Rain can be considered the same as normal water. Wind, can blow the clouds away with the appropriate jutsu. It is strong against Fire. Rain can be used to douse fire as normal water would. Another weakness, although not direct, is that while Rain is falling on the battle field, in certain cases, the use of Lightning techniques may be risky. (gotten from scorps elemental weakness thread U_U)

Depends on the types of jutsu, terrain and conditions i'm fighting under. Mostly i would use rain jutsus, with earth jutsus. have the earth jutsu distract them from below, while a rain jutsu from the top comes unexpectedly.

First technique
Of course you would have to have it raining on the battlefield for rain techniques....just making sure i say it xD
(Ame Tama no Jutsu) - Rain Bullet Technique

Description: By focusing chakra into the user's hand they are able to gather rain drops towards their palms, the rain is molded together by chakra and forged into a high pressured orb. Once done the orb will shoot away from the users hand and the user will be knocked back. If it hits the enemy the enemy will be sent away flying or unbalanced.
Focus chakra into your hand to gather falling rain towards your palms to the point it picks up pressure and then is released towards your foe.
First technique

- No hand seals
- Enough force to knock the enemy back couple feet, and leaving them to stumble.
- Don't need to make direct contact, instead the orb can be shot at the enemy in short range? O_O
- Orb can only reach short range.
- Orb takes a while to be fully finish. Enemy can hit you in short range by then.
- Orb is small, and cannot redirect it, i figure it only goes in a straight path
-Would use it when the enemy is blinded by a gen, or is falling toward me. Anything that would keep him busy/restrain.
Ways to counter:
-A simply earth jutsu to create a small wall in the path of the orb, or you could use a jutsu (Like arrow step
) to move out of the way, since the user cannot change the path after it has been release.

You need to focus your chakra into the rain that's pouring down in order to change its composition to make it sticky that way its able to bind your opponent in place..

*As it begins to rain, i perform a hand seal, channeling my chakra into the rain that is hitting the clone and me. As i do this, the rain that hits the clone begins to change. It becomes sticky. Sticking on to the clone, biding him in place momentarily.*
Strong points
- Once done successfully, the enemy is trap for two turns O_O
- Extends out to mid range.
- Don't need to perform a handseal
- Has a limit of only two turns
- Doesn't do any damage.
- Will feel different from regular rain drops, so the enemy might realize that something is up.
-I would perform a jutsu that hits the opponent from the bottom. Most likely they would try to use some sort of doton jutsu to protect them from above, of the sticky rain. So like a earth spike jutsu.
Ways to counter:
-Any earth jutsu that protects you. Such as the earth corridor or dome.
Question: Could you make the sticky rain as vast as swamp of the underworld? Like make the sticky rain all around up to mid range.

To answer your question, yes. It doesnt say that you cant, and the range does say short-mid. So I guess thats right. But in your ways to counter. How can you counter if youve already been caught?

If I'm already caught? Lets see. I would use a earth jutsu that doesn't need any hand seal to cover my body. While i could use hiding like a mole, going under ground and making the gravel from underneath rub on me, making the sticky substance get off my body. Could also try water replacement, making my body change property. Then reform back. Would move though.

Im sure using hiding like a mole will require some movement on your end to get underground. Which would be invalid, but in particular im sure there was a wind technique on the jutsu list that doesnt require handseals that will blow off things that are surrounding your body. That may work best without being too vague.

*While standing in the rain, i gather up my chakra and spread it into the rain. As it is infuse with the rain, i use my chakra control to turn the rain drops into a perfect and still reflection of myself. Moving to the same pace as me.*
Strong points
- A simple, and quite easy trick to fool an enemy in close range.
- Someone who is fighting you with taijutsu can easily get fooled, which is where you can get the upper hand.
- Doesn't require any hand seals, so it won't give any indications of a jutsu.
- Clone cannot do hits or jutsus of its own
- Disperse with one hit
- Once the rain has stop, it will go also.
-Well I'm being attack, with taijutsu i could quickly release something like a smoke bomb maybe? As a diversion to make the clone, so the enemy will get confuse. Giving me a time to receive the upper hand.
Ways to counter:
-Simply use a jutsu or a taijutsu move that will attack them both. Like a spin kick, the jutsu says short range, so people will have it close to them.
Question: I'm guessing i could make up to three clones a turn if i really wanted? O_O

*While standing in the rain i quickly string up 3 hand seals, spreading my chakra around my body and outside. Making my body practically 'blend' in with the falling of the rain.*
Strong points
- Perfect jutsu for concealment in rainy conditions. Making you able to get up and close to the enemy.
- Even doujutsu users will have problem finding people, especially if the user of this technique uses rain tiger will thingy
- Seriously can't think of another T_T
- Need hand seals to perform, enemies will know something is up when you disappear
- Physical contact from anything reveals you
- Moving too fast reveals you.
-I wouldn't use this in battle. Pretty useless. Maybe in the NW, to sneak up on ame nin O_<
-And use rain tiger will with this.
Ways to counter:
-When you see the enemy disappear, simply release a wide spread jutsu, that covers a circular range around. Like maybe do that peacock formation wind jutsu.

*I channel my rain chakra into the rain, above my enemy's head. Condensing a single rain drop into a much denser quality. Hitting my opponent's head like a bullet from above.*
Strong points
- No hand seals, so it won't give any indication of the enemy doing a jutsu.
- Can be created at any distance above ground (?)
- If used correctly over someone's head, it will be a sure kill.
- Only falls in one straight line downwards.
- Can only make one single rain drop hard.
- The 'blade' is very small, so it won't do much damage.
-Would use it as an opener when I'm not in the mood to fight. :|
Ways to counter:
-W/o doujutsu/chakra sensing or any means of sensing chakra within the rain, i have no idea.
Question: Seriously, how would a normal bio counter this? O_O can this kill? or does it depends on the height of the rain blade/rain drop?
