Hey, so first congrats on gaining Rain! You know, a lot of people prefer Sound over Rain. But Rain has a lot of hidden gems, so hopefully you enjoy them. We'll do the theory out of character, but once we get to techniques we will switch to doing some RP-style training.

Anyways, what can you tell me about Rain Ninjutsu? What exactly is it? It used to be called Rain Release but a recent update has now made it more appropriate giving rise to the name Rain Ninjutsu. Be as detailed as you want to be.

Simply put. I liked it. Rain Ninjutsu is unique in that it manipulates the weather overall as well. While the name uses the word rain, it actually extends to many other forms like hail, acid rain, and pseudo-ice. A lot of opponents will face difficult discerning attacks used through Rain Ninjutsu given the sheer number of rain drops and the small few you manipulate in that group. It's like finding the needle in the haystack, except the haystack is falling and the needle is trying to kill you.

What do you think about Rain and Lightning?

I think a combination of both would be lethal. Rain is made of an element that partly conducts electricity, which makes electrocution upon contact to both elements even deadlier and more intense.

Yeah, pretty much. It's important to note that utilizing Lightning while in the middle of a rain storm can be harmful to both you and the opponent. So you should be wary if you plan on it. Now, let's begin. We'll just RP on the classic plain field on a sunny day.

Turning to face his student Nagato spoke, "You wish to learn the most precious secrets of the Land of Rain. And we'll do just that. However, teaching Rain Ninjutsu requires one to first begin to learn to manipulate the weather. We could have studied this in Amegakure itself but...well that would be too easy." He smiled warmly and looked up toward the sky motioning with his hands. "You've mastered Water Release, yes? I believe you already possess the necessary skill to turn this lovely sunny day into a tranquil storm. Go ahead, and then we will begin."

Then he got a request from his sensei, saying he should transform the sunny day to a tempest, which he liked from the sound of it anyway. "Here goes nothing" He said, while channeling his chakra towards the cloud, manipulating it in a such way it transformed to a storm.

The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

Without further ado, Hidan started drawing in rain drops towards his palm, forming a high pressure orb. Then he straightens his hand slightly, before releasing the orb towards the target in a form of a bullet. Unconventionally, the orb exerts an opposite force that lugs him backwards. As he moves backwards, Hidan was able to balance his body so as not to fall on the ground. Then he said;

Description: Majesty is a simple Rain Release technique designed to supplement the user’s taijutsu strikes in combination with Rain Release. By releasing their Water elemental chakra into the atmosphere the user can infuse the rain drops produced by either natural storms or synthetic storms produced by various techniques to become heavily infused with the user’s chakra. The infusion does not allow for a form of obstruction sensory, like that found in Rain Tiger at Will. Instead this simply imbues the rain storm with a limited form of sentience allowing it to respond to the user’s will and follow their taijutsu strikes independently of the user at a small sacrifice of chakra. The result is that the rain will follow the user’s taijutsu. For example, should the user attempt to punch a target this technique will cause the rain within short-range of the user’s fist to follow the punch and barrage the target with rain drops. Should the user attempt to kick their target with a spinning kick to the side the rain drops will follow the target behind the kick and strike the target. The rain drops themselves pose no serious physical threat but are incredibly distracting able to break concentration and focus with ease. This technique is sustained as long as the rain storm itself is sustained.

"Solid answer. Basically it is something that can passively siphon off our chakra to fuel its existence, without the need for the user to sustain and concentrate on it. They are quite useful in fights. I personally prefer them over Shadow Clones for a number of reasons! Anyways, take a look at Majesty. Perform it and tell me what you think."
