I send my chakra into the dark skies above me and start to manipulate the rain. I cause the rain to draw together in certain areas to form semi large bullets. The bullets then fall down on my command in order to deliver blunt damage to you from above. These will **** I up m8.
the plus to this technique is the quickness it can be formed but the lack of an offensive move is a sort of giveaway I guess. I would use this to knock a Saiyan unconscious who is bent on destroying the world.
Limitation on would be the lack of effectiveness really. The drawing of the rain after the handseals is a pain in the ass while also a giveaway. The tech lacks killing power and it's linear path won't be very affective.
To counter this i would just move after noticing the gaps in the falling rain which is produced from the gathering of the rain.
I wouldnt use this as I don't like low ranking techniques which focus more on blunt power instead of slashing ability because it's not as harmful
Important to know as an Rain user; Always be prepared against your opponent in fights. Observe your surroundings while not noticing your opponent doing anything. If you are up against a strong opponent, like in this case the sneaky Liliana, then of course she'll brainwash you, forcing you to godmod. Like, when people do sometimes like using handseals for a technique, while they actually do not require any handseal, or perform a hand gesture to make you think that your opponent is actually planning something, confusing you thus falling into their trap. But any other than sensing abilities, Sharingan, Byakugan or any other doujutsu would do. High ranked lighting technique's that erupt with quite ease from your body would evaporate the technique because of the high ranked lightning. Or, the moment you notice it use the earthen skin technique to start covering the specific area where you think the needle or spike will strike first, or water replacement. But as I said before; never let your opponent make it rain if you know he/she has rain mastered. Just, don't. But, to answer your actual question; The slightest little observations would do. The sky, the ground, the concentration on every single thing happening around you like water puddle's moving differently than normally, or anything like that. But now that you are actually getting trained in Rain, and know exactly what to do just state the actual. You now have been trained in rain, hence knowing what will happen when your opponent let's it rain, since you've been gone through the training, technique's etc. You'll just know what's going on if your enemy uses it against you. It's like putting an Water master on a lake against someone else whom did not receive any water training at all.
Do you even know how awesome this technique is? Like, seriously? When you create the necessary handseals you can basically cause all the rain drops to come together, so fuse and become quite big ones which become bullets that come falling down one second after another, it's like an endless rain but then in bullets that actually are as hard as rock. And you can even confuse your opponent by letting him think that you're actually performing an whole other technique whilst in reality you create this, unnoticeable to them because if you use this correctly without letting your opponent notice anything because of the rain temporarily stopping because of the fact that they're gathering above your opponent. So with the combination of an wind technique this could be quite the handy technique.
(Toku no Ame) - Shield of Rain
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: User performs the necessary handseals and places their hands out in front of them. Using chakra they gather up a large amount of rain and create a wall of solid water. The water is dense and difficult to move through, thus protecting the user from most taijutsu attack and fire attacks. Earth based jutsu and Lighting jutsu are highly effective against this technique. The user must keep his hands connected into the wall at all times or the wall will return to its normal state. If struck by electricity it will move through the water and strike the user as well.
