  • Brief description of how you perform the technique: I start by gathering a large amount of my chakra throughout my entire body, I then mold the gathered chakra into rain release chakra and focus it into the falling rain, I then manipulate the falling rain with my chakra and have it all draw to a single point in the sky whilst also manipulating it to form into a vortex of rain, once the vortex is formed, I manipulate it to attack my opponent as a wave/vortex of rain.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc): This technique would work well with Lightning release: Wave of inspiration, since the lightning tech would increase its power by giving it that electrical flow xD, and I also think a good wind technique used right after the vortex to combine with, would also work well, the wind tech would increase the speed and force of the vortex as well as make it more fierce and powerful.
  • Limitations of the technique: Cannot be used in long range, and is basically a straight forward powerful attacking technique, nothing really that great about it.
  • How to counter the technique: Water Release: Water encampment pillar would be able to counter this technique, as well as perhaps Moving earth core, to divert the wave/vortex.
Remember that when used incorrectly, that even you might get caught up in it. But yes, combining it with lightning or wind would be quite the lethal technique, especially with wind because of the speed and making it more lethal, but I wouldn't use lightning so fast unless you have a great combination in mind, so be careful with that until you kill yourself in the meantime.

(Haisou no Kouryuu no Jutsu) - Flight of the Rain Dragons
Rank: S
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 40(-10 each turn to keep this jutsu in play)
Damage Points: 80
Description: After performing a long row of hand seals, the user makes a small cut on each of his or her ring fingers and raises his or her hands to the sky. Some of the user's blood raises up into the sky, apparently as a sacrifice. The clouds then begin to warp and form into several dragons. Once fully formed, each of the dragons is capable of emitting one spiral rain spear per turn. The dragons also act as alternate sources of rain.

You can of course, control these dragons and you can cause other rain technique's to emit out of the rain dragon while heading towards your opponent, so it's quite the handy technique and strong. Now cut your finger, and stitch it upwards and we'll see whether you'd be capable of taming the dragons yes or now.

  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc): Overall, this technique has many uses in battle, it can especially be used to continually attack/distract your opponent from above, whilst you focus on attacking from a different angle.
  • Limitations of the technique: Requires a long procedure before the technique is actually successful, other than that, nothing really.
  • How to counter the technique: An earth shield would work to defend against this technique, depending on the rank, besides that, the best bet would be to get rid of the rain clouds and stop it from raining, this would require a powerful wind technique.

Well, you could also create this technique by using the blood from another certain scratch that provide blood. So while fighting your opponent, you could simply distract him while you seek for blood and simply stitch your finger in the air. You don't need to stitch it so high, you can simply point at some way up in the sky, and summon them.

(Kuro Ame no Jutsu) - Dark Rain Technique
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40(-5 each turn after 3 turns have passed)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user forms the necessary handseals and the all the rain drops in the area becomes pitch black, they can be felt pouring down but would not be seen, and they would still be transparent. This is a very strong technique because as soon as this is done every technique the user create using this will be pitch black and the enemy will not see them coming

You're opponent would think that this would be a genjutsu, so use this to actually mess with the mind of your opponent, or in this case, his senses. This can of course be seen by users with sensory or doujutsu's, or could figure it out quite easily when you use it in some weird or predictable manner. But give it a try, handy technique is handy.

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique: I start by quickly gathering my chakra throughout my body before molding the gathered chakra to rain release chakra whilst also performing a sequence of hand seals, I then focus the rain chakra into the falling rain across the entirety of the battlefield and cause the rain to become pitch black although still as it regularly is, only now when the next few techniques are performed, they become pitch black as well and couldn't be seen by the opponent.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc): This is an overall technique which would work well with any technique since it is capable of working well with majority techniques.
  • Limitations of the technique: Mid ranged, it consumes extra chakra.
  • How to counter the technique: As usual, a wind technique to get rid of the clouds would be best for this technique.

As I told you before, it's a technique messing with one's senses, so use this well during battles because it's a great technique to be combined with rain.

(Suiton: Kouryuu no Jutsu) - Water Style: Rain Dragon Skill
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary/Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: powerful jutsu that's into motion the creation of a dragon made of clouds. the dragon itself is very powerful and adds a level of versatility previously unknown to rain-based techniques. The dragon swoops down from the sky and onto the battlefield. Not only is it capable of shooting a spiral rain spear from any point on its body once per post, but it is capable of directing a small rainstorm from its body. This allows rain techniques to be used from the dragon, and become more localized.

Awesome technique is awesome. I except quite a nice filled template, you can use this in many, many creative ways.

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique: I start once again by gathering my chakra throughout my entire body, I then mold the gathered raw chakra into rain release chakra and proceed to focus the chakra into the rain and rain clouds above the battlefield, I then manipulate the rain clouds with my rain chakra and cause it to form into a large dragon made purely of clouds, the dragon then lowers itself onto the battlefield, which I then manipulate it to release a spiral spear of rain towards my target.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc): This technique would work well with all rain techniques since rain techniques are able to be formed from the dragon itself, the dragon is also capable of releasing a spiral spear of rain in each of the user's turns, along with that any type of genjutsu or binding technique would work well in a combo with this technique since it would be able to release the rain spear while the user induces the genjutsu etc.
  • Limitations of the technique: The main limitation of this technique is the fact that its Mid ranged, meaning the spiral spear would only be able to reach into mid range, along with the dragon itself....I suppose.
  • How to counter the technique: The best would be to blast the entire dragon away with a wide and large scaled wind technique, since the dragon is made of clouds, this would work effectively, a powerful/scorching hot fire would also weaken the dragon and/or cause the clouds to dry up or disappear.

Perfect. Wind > Rain and water obviously.

(Rasen Yari no Kirinonai Kouu) - Endless Rain of the Spiral Spears
Rank: S
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: An advanced form of the Rain Spear that uses chakra to condense a large amount of rain water into one place to form spears of water in the clouds. The spears can at any time be called down to strike an opponent with only one hand-seal. Unlike its predecessor, these spears are made of constantly moving water that can actually cut an opponent. They also move in a corkscrew pattern that can be slightly manipulated. By widening or sharpening the turns, you can change where the spear will hit mid-technique. The water will stay in the form of spears for a short amount of time (2 turns). Any spears that are not used by that time it will fall uselessly as rain.

Well, you simply create multiple rain spears from above your opponent, and with a mere handseal you can cause all the spears you have created to fall down upon your opponent and it shall, and will quickly finish your opponent off pure because of it's pointy sharp edges. You can of course also change it's course mid-ranged above your opponent, which means that the technique can only change it's course once it's nearby the clouds so it can get manipulated.

  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc): This technique would work well with a genjutsu, as does every fatal attacking technique such as this one, and also if the opponent is on the run and tries to evade the spears, you could manipulate it in mid-air
to change its course, although only once.
  • Limitations of the technique: Requires a hand seal to be released and lasts for 2 turns, to which it would then become useless.
  • How to counter the technique: An effective way to counter these would be to defend against them with a powerful defending technique, such as perhaps a Great Stone Golem imo, the golem would serve as a good defense as to cover the target as well as attack in the same breath with its large fists,

  • Hmmm... good enough, nice combination. Keep up the creativity.

(Kadou Boufuu no Jutsu) - Vortex Storm Technique
    Rank: S
    Type: Supplementary
    Range: Short-Mid
    Chakra cost: 40
    Damage Points: 80
Description: A powerful high level jutsu that uses a great deal of chakra to pull down the storm clouds from the sky and place them around the user and enemy. The chakra that pulled down the clouds keeps them moving at high speeds so that neither the user nor enemy can escape. This jutsu in effect doubles the damage done by rain jutsu attacks and makes them more difficult to dodge. When this technique is used, the rain that comes from the clouds falls sideways, down, up, and near every direction, keeping enemies off balance.

This technique is quite OP to be honest. Like, you force clouds literally down and if you use rain technique's then the damage double's because of the opponent being closer to the technique's, and with this you can easily create technique's that needed 2/3 turns before it got created like the thick snow, or hail. The rain in this case will be closer, and it'll be so much to handle on just one place that the rain will force you off balance, not to mention the clouds moving at high speeds from the right, left, around etc.

  • Limitations of the technique: The user would also be in the clouds, thus probably making it hard for the user to see the opponent? Not really sure but I know you would clarify that part for me :p, and it only works in mid ranged battle.
  • How to counter the technique: A high scaled wind technique would suffice, something capable of completely blowing all of the clouds away.

You are correct. Remember to use this technique to your advantage, take advantage of your opponent's description. So, when your opponent says or states that he destroys or causes the clouds in front of him to disappear by destroying them with wind then he still has to deal with the one near him since you can still mold your rain chakra into the remaining ones, using rain technique's with those. So it's good to describe that you shatter those clouds all over the battle field (Short-mid) including to his right and next, forcing him to use a technique that destroys everything around him or forcing him to move with his head to release a certain wind technique.

(Boufuu Kumo Kaigara) - Storm Cloud Shell
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A powerful technique that draws down a small portion of rain clouds and places them over the user like a full body shell. The clouds continue to produce rain, which allow the user to send out rain jutsu like the Rain spear from their body. This shell also defends against lightening jutsu, cutting their damage in half.

Wonderful technique. It'd be realistic that this technique can defend yourself against lightning technique's that are C-Ranked and below, and if higher then they could cut their damage in half. But, once using this technique to defend yourself from that then the body shell get's destroyed and cannot be used anymore. So I'd rather use this technique to just produce rain technique's if I where you.

(Ensan no Kouu) - Acid Rain
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary/Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40(-5 per turn to keep active)
Damage Points: -10 each turn or as long as the user has this jutsu in effect
Description: A powerful ninjutsu that laces the clouds with a large amount of poison elemental chakra to change the structure of the rain. The end result is a storm that does not rain water, but instead rains a powerful acid that can eat through most materials. Unfortunately, skin is not one of those materials. Instead of instantly eating through, it causes skin to instantly blister and slowly dissolve in a most painful way.

I except much from you from this technique. Give it a try, can be used in MANY ways, in even ways that you can protect yourself from this technique while using it.

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique: I start with the usual gathering of my chakra before then molding the gathered raw chakra into Rain release chakra, I then focus the rain chakra into the rain clouds above the battlefield and cause the clouds to be laced with poison elemental chakra, changing the actual structure of the rain, all rain would then cause irritation and blisters to form upon any skin it touches as well as eat through majority materials.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc): In order for one to protect himself from this technique, he would have to cause the poison chakra to be focused into the clouds above and around his opponent/s and not above himself. A good combination would be a binding technique or otherwise other attacking rain techniques that would have an actual form, and perhaps the techniques could be created from the acid rain.
  • Limitations of the technique: Consumes chakra at each turn and doesn't reach into long range.
  • How to counter the technique: A good way to counter this technique would be to prevent the rain from touching the users skin, by means of forming an earth shelter perhaps.

Won't work. This technique eats through most materials. I wouldn't use this technique to be honest, unless you're in the medical school. Or, you could simply cut the clouds in this case in such a state that it'll only rain nearby your opponent, short ranged from him so that you will not get harmed whatsoever. I'm also pretty sure that you are also capable of making it rain only short ranged around your opponent, your opponent would however find it strange since you will then only sense what's around him and not the complete short-mid ranged area, but oh well. You can always try.

(Touketsu Ame toraidento no Jutsu) - Frozen Rain Trident Technique
Rank: S
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: An advance version of rain trident where the user bounces the rain into the clouds. The higher up they go the more colder they get until they freeze and come falling down(similar to hail).

You'll simply make it snow, instead of rain. You will however not sense your opponent if this happens.

  • Brief description of how you perform the technique: I start by gathering my chakra throughout my entire body before then molding the gathered raw chakra into rain release chakra, I then focus the rain chakra into the rain clouds in the sky where I then bounce the rain within said clouds causing a trident of hail/snow to then come falling down at a fast pace towards my target.
  • How can the technique be used in battle (combos with other moves/skils, creative use, etc): A frontal attack would serve well as a combo technique, since it would basically be used to distract the opponent while the trident attempts to deliver the fatal attack, other than that there is the usual genjutsu or binding/paralyzing.
  • Limitations of the technique: The rain can no longer be used for sensing purposes.
  • How to counter the technique: Great Stone Golem? xD

It will when this technique ends, and you simply stop sending rain upwards into the sky to make it colder. :p

You have now mastered Rain. Good luck with it, and use it wisely!
