Excellent :D

(Shuushi Ame) - Stop Rain
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique defines the users chakra control and for tactical measures for other techniques. The user creates the necessary handseals and every rain drop stops in mid air or wherever they are

Now, channel your wind chakra throughout the area, and make every single raindrop throughout the entire area, stop mid-air.

How you perform it: I focus on my chakra and release it into the environment, manipulating it and thus creating a freezing effect in all raindrops falling to the ground, causing them to stop at their respective positions.
Advantages: It is one of the best rain techniques I've seen thus far in terms of utility. It can be used against chakra sensing rain, rendering it useless. It is also effective against other rain users.
Disadvantages: It's usage is useless if there is no rain falling.
How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: It is not offensive.
The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting: N/A

(Ame Aikuchi) - Rain Dagger
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: A simple jutsu that gathers the rain with chakra and then forms it into a dagger-like weapon. The chakra gives the water a more solid form so that it can be used for attacks. The water returns to normal shortly after creation. When the dagger cuts into something the water from the dagger expands within the cut to increase the damage.

Using the raindrops, form a dagger within your hands. Strike your target, and upon striking, causing the dagger to further expand in somewhat of a splash, giving further damage.

How you perform it (note: do not just copy what I did).
I focus on my chakra flow and start to release that chakra into the environment and charge the rain drops with it, I then use my chakra to manipulate the nearby rain drops and use them to create a dagger in my right hand.
Advantages
-gives you a weapon to attack
-no hand seal
-can be used when you are out of weapon and it also causes extended damage

Disadvantages.

-the same can be done using a normal sword
- like with most of the rain jutsu, you require a rainy terrain

How would you defend yourself from this jutsu.

I would avoid any contact with dagger either using free form taijutsu base movements or attack back with a strong earth base jutsu

The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting.

Questions?

why is it mid-range?

I assume that ir can be used without having to form in your hands, to be honest. It's the only way it being mid range makes sense, you create a water dagger somewhere in the sky, perhaps behind the enemy, and will it forward to crash into the target.

How you perform it: I focus my rain chakra in the clouds and manipulate rain drops to accumulate somewhere high up. Then I use shape transformation to shape the accumulated rain drops into a dagger that will fall on the target.
Advantages: It is a great for launching a sneak attack. It also deals great damage due to the concussive nature of water.
Disadvantages: It can be easily avoided by moving away from its path since it falls in a straight line.
How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: By propelling myself away from its path.

Oh, we finally have both of you here.
(Amagasa no Jutsu) - Umbrella Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A helpful technique for staying dry in the rain. After a few short handsigns, the user can create an invisible umbrella by extending their arm over their head and holding an open palm towards the sky. This "umbrella stops all rain, but cannot stop jutsu that take a more solid form like the Rain spear technique. This technique was actually made to stop the acid rain technique and other average falling rain techniques from touching the user.

Hold out your hand, like you're holding an umbrella. Channel your chakra throughout your palm, creating and shaping an umbrella of chakra, within your hand, which will cover you from raindrops and whatnot. The umbrella is not really dense chakra, so seemingly it is invisible. This would be able to block out acid raindrops, which you will be learning later, to do.

Yeah, we are.. xD

How you perform it: I wave a few hand seals and raise my left hand upwards with my palm spread open also. I then begin releasing chakra from my palm and constantly mold it to the shape of the top part of an umbrella, hence preventing all the rain falling on the field from touching me.
Advantages: It is very effective against many rain techniques. For instance, the Rain Tiger at Will technique will be unable to touch the user of this technique.
Disadvantages: The user has to keep their hand up, hence it greatly restricts free movement and usage of handseals.
How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: It's not attack based.

How you perform it: I start to perform a small series of hand seal while molding my chakra inside my body and then concentrate it into the tips of my right hand finger and slowly raise my hand upwards, while releasing that chakra and shape manipulate that chakra into am umbrella which I use to avoid the nearby raindrops.

Advantages: can be a good option to nullify techniques like rain drop technique and acid rain and what not.

Disadvantages: Well if we need to raise our hands throughout the technique then it is surely a big disadvantage, It can only protect us from normal rain type based attack.

How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: It's not attack based.

The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting: N/A

Questions?: Do we need to keep our hand risen during the entire time? If not then how long does this technique last?

It works as long as your arm is raised, yes.

(Touketsu Ame Nottori no Jutsu) - Frozen Rain Capture Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: An advance version of rain capture where the user bounces the rain into the clouds. The higher up they go the more colder they get untill they freeze and come falling down(similar to hail)in the form of a net or a dome to capture the opponent.

Using your chakra, bounce the rain into the skies, and higher up. The higher it is up, it would freeze due it getting colder. As soon as the rain freeze, let it fall down in a form of hail, which forms somewhat of a net-dome shape over the target.

How you perform it: I start to molding my chakra inside my body and then concentrate it into the rain drops around me and use my chakra to take control over them, I then start directing those raindrops up in the sky as they gradually rise up they start to condense and convert into hail, once done I direct that hail towards my opponent and use it to create a dome around him and thus capture him.

Advantages: can be a good option to trap an opponent

Disadvantages: Frankly speaking I think it is a very time taking process and the end result is not worth all that wait, right?

How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: It's not attack based.

The picture of the technique and/or anything else that you find interesting: N/A

Questions?: Have you ever used it?

How you perform it: I manipulate my chakra and channel it into the ground and air, using it to redirect the fall raindrops back to the clouds. After sometime when they must have frozen enough, I allow them to fall back to the ground but around the target, forming a protective dome around them.
Advantages: It can be used to protect something that is of importance as long as it is within short-mid range. This includes the user themself.
Disadvantages: It takes time for the raindrops to rise, freeze and fall back to the ground.
How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: It is not attack based.

Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: An advance version of rain daggers where the user bounces the rain into the clouds. The higher up they go the more colder they get until they freeze and come falling down(similar to hail).

(Touketsu Ame Ittou) - Frozen Rain Blade
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: An advance version of rain blade where the user bounces the rain into the clouds. The higher up they go the more colder they get until they freeze and come falling down(similar to hail) and unlike the original they do not turn back into train until after 3 turns.

*Shows hand signs.* Peform these and ascend your chakra into the rain clouds above us, and start converting the rain cloud, into a hail cloud by cooling down. Let it fall down like hail and hit the opponent and if not temporarily blind him while the hail is in play. However it would also blind yourself somewhat. U__U Also, by using your chakra you can direct the hail towards the opponent.

How you perform it: After performing the handseals, I channel my chakra into the clouds above and begin gathering the raindrops there, causing them to become frozen hence creating hail clouds. Thus, I allow the hail to fall back to the ground, harming and temporarily blinding the target.
Advantages: It can be used as a surprise attack. The raindrops falling on the target become hail, dealing them severe damage.
Disadvantages: It takes time for the raindrops to freeze and become hail and fall back to the ground.
How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: By using wind to ward off the frozen raindrops.

How you perform it: After performing the handseals, I start to release my chakra outwards and direct it towards the clouds above us and use it to cool the clouds and convert them into hail cloud, I then use these clouds to produce hail and make it fall on the battlefield and using my chakra I direct that hail towards my opponent.

Advantages: Hard to deduce if opponent has not seen you weaving handseal, can be used to distract opponent from other attacks.

Disadvantages: takes considerable amount of time

How would you defend yourself from this jutsu: By using a protective layer of earth, which can be created through multiple earth jutsu. It provides me with a complete protection.

Questions?: Exactly how long does it take in context of our RP?
