So nicknaming Jutsu's Upgrades it's Jutsu rankings now?

Who knows. Why is Third Raikages Hell stab only a B rank when it by far exceeds chidori and raikiri?

Still don't see how that changes what has been said on more than one occasion. "It's a nickname for chidori"

A Jutsu is ranked on it's difficulty to use/learn. Not on power

Nicknames do NOT affect a jutsu's rank what so ever. If it was just a renamed Chidori it would share it's ranking. Period.

Im not cherry picking. The db says its just a nickname, Gai says its just a nickname. So why should I believe otherwise. I'm saying the writer may not have cared whether he wrote arm or hand, since he's still getting the same message across.
And im saying there is a difference between hand and arm.

Besides that, I've never ever in my life seen sasuke concentrate chidori in the arm, that doesn't even make sense. If you actually think that makes any sense, then good for you. But whenever I see chidori, it's always the exact same as raikiri.
If ya want more proof here you go:

You must be registered for see images

When sasuke is using it his peeling skin shows where chidori is concentrated. Guess what? skin on his forearm peeled.

Kakashi and raikiri?
You must be registered for see images

Hand only.

Here is the story of chidori:
Chidori (千鳥) means "a thousand birds". It's from a story about a sixteenth-century military commander named Tachibana Dousetsu, who owned a sword named the Chidori. One day, he was struck by lightning while sitting under a tree. Acting quickly, he drew his sword and cut the Thunder God riding the lightning. This saved his life and after this incident, he changed the name of his sword from Chidori to Raikiri (雷切, "Lightning Cutter").

Literally all Kakashi did was rename his chidori.

I dont care for the mythology behind it. If It was one and the same it wouldn't be treated separate. It wouldn't get two different db entries in the same book if it was literally just a rename.

You show a scan of sasuke who's still new to the technique. Of course it won't be as concentrated as Kakashis.

I've just looked through a dozen scans of part 2 sasuke, and his chidori is the exact same form as Kakashis raikiri. There is arm concentration, comes straight from the hand. So are we saying sasuke now uses raikiri :| Or is it not plausible that after a bit more practice and exprericne that his chidori is now more concentrated?

Dude, I'm not sure what you want me to say. When Gai himself calls it a nickname and Kakashi doesn't correct him, I'm pretty sure it's just a nickname. When the DB also states it's just a nickname, I think imma tend to believe that.

Maybe you are right that Raikiri is more concentrated. But did it ever occur to you that the db was just explaining that Raikiri is more perfected than a 12/13 yr old genin sasuke. It's like trying to say that part 1 narutos first rasengan on Kabuto is the same level as Jiraya's base rasengan.

I don't beleive for one second that part 2 sasukes chidori is any less concentrated than Kakashi raikiri. Not when they look exactly the same as Kakashis raikiri.

You may not care about the mythology behind it, but that's exactly where kishi got the jutsu and the exact names from. He even gives it the same backstory about cutting lighting and even uses the whole nickname thing.

he had it for a couple of months, and please stop looking for excuses.

Reaching forearm.

but when db says theres a difference in concentration... ohh naw its a mistranslated.

if its the same jutsu they would be listed together, now wouldn't they?Oh wait? THEY ARE REGARDLESS OF SKILL LEVEL

A jutsu left by a hero! The storm of the Rasengan that rages like the whirlwind within the hand!!Level:A
Users: Naruto, Jiraya, Yondaime

Chakra is spiraled in all directions and then compressed into the hand, a jutsu that is released in a shape of a sphere! No hand seals are necessary and anyone with chakra can learn its basics. But as it took the 4th three years to complete, this shows that determining its level is beyond imagination as well as the extreme difficulty of the lessons to achieve it.

(Pic of Naruto and his bunshin attacking Kabuto)
Naruto uses his bunshin to press down the chakra in his hand.

(Pic of Naruto with Rasengan in his hand)
The chakra that is compressed into his hand changes into a sphere shape and tears through the air in its rotation.

The Three Lessons to achieve the Rasengan
“Rotation,” “Power,” "Compression"

The three lessons of Jiraya…The basic requires the rotation of a high level of chakra in the hand. During the lesson, a great burden is placed on the chakra(circulatory) pathways of the body due to the high level of chakra focused in one region.

(Pic of Naruto sweating)
First lesson is to burst the water balloon with chakra by causing the water to spin wildly.
Second lesson is to use the power of the rotation to burst a rubber ball.
hird lesson is to compress the greatest force of the rotation.

so get that jazz outta here.

I don't beleive for one second that part 2 sasukes chidori is any less concentrated than Kakashi raikiri. Not when they look exactly the same as Kakashis raikiri.
so in denial then.

yeahh no. Susanno is the god of the sea yet in this show its flying spirit Armour. So yeah i dont care for mythos.

You coming to me with this bs is like me saying FTG and FTGV2 is the same thing. Obviously you would scream out your mind that its different but the fact of the matter is all hes doing is teleporting then attacking. Just like standard ftg.

Couple of months does not equate to Kakashi having the jutsu for over a decade :|

And Kakashi has it reaching his arm as well

You are seriously reaching. Why did you pick one of the last chapters to show sasuke using an arm concentrated chidori. Why not a non rikudo sasuke? Honestly it's no more than just art, it's like rasengan sometimes being held in the palm or floating above the hand. I don't see how chidori/raikiri climbing up to the arm slightly equates to a different jutsu.

You can keep speculations, but it still says its just a nickname. Nothing you say changes that.

Not denial, look at all sasukes per chidoris in part 2. They all look the same. You're the one in denial when Gai has already told you it's a nickname. Its like you trying to tell me the sky isn't blue.

FTG v2 is a manoeuvre. Still FTG. Hence why FTG is in the name U_U

Having the jutsu longer doesn't change the mechanics. Proof being rasegans db. All three are listed regardless of how long they had it.

So wait to you:
Him having it too long= bs
Him having it too short= he didn't have it long enough.

I took his most recent chidori since according to you he needed time to "improve its concentration" and you still have your bs excuse. That wasn't even kakashi. He got mind body switched in the scan u posted.

And finally FTG V2 is listed as a separate justu than ftg receiving a lower rank than the original technique. Not just "A maneuver"

No I didn't say having it too long is bs. I said you showing me a rikudo enhanced chidori is never gonna be the same as a regular sasukes chidori.

So now having Kakashis mind switched equates to his raikiri that he just made becoming chidori :lol fine then, it reaches his arm here as well:

The fact that you actually think kishi sometimes drawing it longer or shorter means it's different is the dumbest thing ever.

In that case yes sasuke can use Raikiri since he has shown to only form it in the hand:

As you can see it goes no higher then his hand at all.

The fact that Kakashi can even grab the lower part of his forearm shows there's no lightening there as well:

It receives a lower rank than regular FTG because the rank is based on difficulty to learn. FTG v2 rank is based on the fact that the learner already knows FTG. Doesn't change the fact that the FTG involved is still S rank difficulty.

Again you still haven't told me how the db and Gais statements about it just being a nickname are invalid.

Enough with the Chidori isn't Raikiri. They're essentially the same. And especially when Sasuke's chidori blew up a meteor. Kakashi best feat is splitting lightning. Yet "Raikiri>Chidori" Smh

Ok, let see. First rasengan is not a complete tecnic. Chidori is shape and element manipulation. And the rasengan is only shape manipulation. So, Naruto vs Sasuke, rasengan vs chidori is always a tie, but you can see that Kakashi has better chidori than Sasuke and Minato has better rasengan than Naruto, but also, between Naruto and Minato rasengan there is a lot of power difference. And between Sasuke and Kakashi power difference there isn't a lot as Minato and Naruto.

So

Minato rasengan >> Naruto Rasengan=Sasuke Chidori, and Kakashi chidori > Sasuke chidori = Naruto RASENGAN, then

Minato Rasengan > Kakashi Chidori.

Minato with his rasengan damage Obito and cut his arm even without hitten him there.

I think that Minato rasengan wins

No. The potency of an attack is dictated my chakra strength. Sasuke, as an Uchiha has very strong chakra, and even more so as Indra. And it isn't shape manipulation. So Sasuke Chidori>>>Kakashi Raikiri.Naruto has more chakra, and a more skilled Rasengan, therefore he has a better Rasengan than Minato. Sasuke Chidori=Naruto Rasengan
