Apart from the fact that Shikamaru could outsmart him and catch him with his jutsu, i see Raikage winning.

Depends. If Shikamaru can use some Shadow Jutsu on Asuma, Ino, Choji, and him all at the same time before Raikage can reach them, then Team Asuma wins. If not, then it's already over...

-I say A wins. I don't see any of them catching or hurting really. If Asuma can touch him with a wind tech then maybe. Choji in butterfly mode might do something if he does it right away which I doubt he'll do. I don't know what plan Shikamaru could come up with to stop A. Of course m opinion can change though

I see A winning for the following reasons..

- too fast for Shika to catch with his shadows, let alone any attacks Ino or Choji could throw at him
- lightning is strong against Asuma's wind nature
- even if Shika is really really smart.. he will not be able to respond and think fast enough while he is being blitzed
- no one has fast enough reflexes to dodge a punch from A except Naruto

A would rape, I don't care how smart you are, team Asuma can barely even defend itself from those speedy blitzes, and Shikamaru's intelligence means absolutely nothing in this fight at all, A wins with little to no difficulty
