Okay, so yeah, what about racism? Take for example a forum, like this one xd, where a person doesn't even know what race another is unless told in some way. Theoretically, a racist could have a conversation with the very race he/she despises most and even become friends with said person not even realizing. Now if they were suddenly made aware of it, even after becoming friends, would this change their relationship and why?

I'm using this example for one reason only, to prove the pure stupidity of racism. I've personally met and conversed with people of all shapes, sizes and colors xd. I've found that we're all one race actually, and that would be the human race.

So I guess what I'm wondering is: why are there racists? I know the KKK is still rampaging in the US. I actually have racist grandparents U_U. I've also seen a lot of it all over the place online and in person. So is racism dying out? Can it be eliminated? What drives it?

I think it's mostly being passed on by parents and a generational hatred, but there must also be something else too. Any thoughts?

Yea, I agree it's stupid and most likely is being passed down by parents and other family members. One can even say the same thing for homophobia. So I really think it all comes down to the environment and who's raising you (Hopefully someone with good morals).

Why? Maybe because the fear to unknown and survival instinct? You know, in early eras, humans organized in small and close groups to survive. Anyone outside the group was an enemy and was feared and hatred. Maybe racist it's just a odd ver of it.
But I don't know for sure, since I'm not racist and none 1 in my family is.

Racism *sigh*. I like all races and I don't mind the jokes other people give out. However when it comes to discriminating just because of someones color or background that is just horrible.

IMO I think racism is slowy dieing out. I know people who think everything is racist and I think they are really the ones keeping it alive.
