Considering it's an angsty Naruto forum, maybe quite a few.
Probably. There is a difference from those who stereotype, and those who are racist though(and not just on NB)
Just like you can stereotype about your own race, you can stereotype about other races without being racist.
Being racist, is about viewing, or treating someone else as being inferior, or treating or viewing a race as superior.
Most racist are also people who stereotype.
But not all people who stereo type are racist.
But that was a great video. It was a good presentation, that showed that racism/bigotry goes both ways.
The first lady, and the lady at the end, were great people. It is through people like them, that racism can become obsolete. People who may endure prejudice, but do not reflect that on others.
Overcomeing differences with people, is about moveing forward, and treating them the same as all other humans. To claim we are the same is to lie. People have different skins. Different viewpoints. Different tastes. Different languages. Different hobbies. Different hair eyes etc.
People are different. That is something that should always be respected.
Conflict breaks out, when someone puts someone down for being different, or when someone views him/herself as being a superior human due to difference.
You dont have to be colorblind for races to get along. Skin color is just a feature like your nose and hair and eye color. Just get along despite your differences.
From my experiance, people who run around calling x racist, are usually more racist themselves.(for example. If someone took a image at kfc or something, and there was a black person in it, the "anti racist" would call the photographer a racist, for haveing a picture of a black person eating fried chicken. Despite the fact that it is just a man eating chicken.
If the photographer said something along the lines of "look at that stupid *nword* eating that chicken" as a caption, then perhaps he might be racist.)
But we need more people like that woman at the end. We need people who share her viewpoint, on all aspects of life(politics viewpoints etc)(she really is such a great person)
Thanks for the video OP
