I've just proven a point BTW. You see how people knee jerk to certain key words without actually reading and considering the facts??? They"ve got you all trained
Equality is politicised at the moment so I can see why would you use it to push the racist ideology. The very basics equality stands for the rights of every individual. Racism is a blatant denial of the rights of others based on the colour of their skin. You haven't even shown an understanding of how the two are inter connected. No one is against races / cultures existing in their own separate ways. But we all come from different places and experiences.
You literally can't prove me wrong; yet I'm the one who's brainwashed?
There are literally no instances in humans history of people being represented evenly in any given category. What makes you believe equality is a norm?
You apparently didn't read what I said :lol. I said you are correct in saying positive stereotypes exists(As if everyone didn't already know that). Just because something exists, doesn't make it completely right. Use your brain bruh bruh. You say judge people individually but we base our political policies on the failings of the masses.
The premise of the thread is that the groups are in fact different(I've given evidence not just Thomas Sowells word) and beliving so makes you a default racist. And not beileving so makes you an ignoramous and in denial.

Racism:the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.
You can't just re-define words to fit your own needs
You are fighting a strawman. Of course if you break it down individually then anyone can be anything. but the definition of racism is to suggest the groups are inherently different which is the topic of this discussion
Go and be a racist then. You have the right trait already. Taking one source as revelation... check. Showing incompetency In rationale... check.... hiding behind myths... check... avoiding reality check.
See ya. Sorry I can't say I agree as I am NOT a racist. You watch one video now the sane world is wrong and you are onto something!
As if I just watched this video and was convinced. I've seen this for a long time, people are good at different things, how is that hard for you to admit.
Can you please show me an instance in human society where every group was just as good at everything?

Do you even know what you are talking about? You are rambling about so much BS. What good has racism actually achieved. And don't try to slyly confuse racism with wanting to preserve one's culture or race.
I knew quite a few people at tech school who laughed about making threads like these. So a troll, a child or a man-child (ew, creepy).Don't waste your time, he's just another child who thinks they have the world figured out.
You are getting off topic. peaceDo you even know what you are talking about? You are rambling about so much BS. What good has racism actually achieved. And don't try to slyly confuse racism with wanting to preserve one's culture or race.
What are you even saying. Your argument is saying that if you think a black person is good at basketball, you are racist. That is false. You are reinforcing a positive stereotype based on the nature of their physiology(Blacks being more athletic). That doesn't make you a racist because you're not saying 'because that black man is good at basketball, he is instantly below me'.
I never see people as physical stereotypes, more like social or cultural groups. Race and creed/color are just a factor in various focus groups. Okay, for example....
When racism was an EXTREMELY common and negative element in society it separated groups by their appearance. These groups, being mostly cut off from others, developed their own practices, habits, mindsets and basically culture. Even over time as groups have began to mix into one another those mindsets and so on still remain, passed down through the generations. Memes and status quoe are factors passed down like DNA. DNA passes down factors like appearance and physical stereotypes are just a common factor. that's all.
Alright, a second example to explain the first. When I was a High School freshman I was in a drama class of 35 students. Me and 2 others were the only males, while me and two other women were the only Caucasians. 30 female classmates of African decent and you know what? Barely even noticed until eight weeks into the semester. That's because I never pay attention to appearances--I notice a long list of factors about them and they almost immediately vanish from my mind. I only recognised them in two different groups because what set these two groups apart from each other and all of the others I had known before was their behavior, attitude, mindset, pastimes, entertainment and demeanor. Almost all of it was different from my Highschool 101 class wich was all about even in both the social "group"--even though the entire class was balanced of various creeds. Why is that? Different districts in the county, different families and neighbors, different social classes and so on.
Back when racism was a major factor, African Americans were the ones living in poverty, almost allways in the same neighborhoots and families. When they're all so clustered together they meld and form similarities. Even aftor racial equality took a major step those groups still exist due to passing them down.
When I see a black, white, red, yellow or brown skinned individual (HATE using those words in that context) I develop a brief estimate as to how that person behaves not because of their skin color, but culture and focus groups. When I think of the Native Americans who met the European settlers I don't think of them as brown men in rediculous clothes and less advanced technology. I see different humans of their own culture and way of life. Same with different nationalities now--because the blueprint of mindset and life is still there. IF I was to call any part of myself "racist" it would just be the part of me that has learned and studied the culture and passing of generations and how they were affected by the society of their time. If racism never had a main hold on society then appearance never would have anything to do with it--but there certainly would be something else in its place.
I have a hard time putting it into words, but I hope at least some of you will look at it without hate or bias--and hopefully most of those would understand where I'm coming from and why.
No I'm looking at trends and saying that black people (as a whole not individually(I don't know why you keep bringing this to an individual level where I've alread agreed whit you)) are better at basketball based on athletic ability.
Excuses are never made for whites in this area, yet are made for other races(specifically african americans) when they fail to achieve the same success as other races in mental categories(I feel the need to say not individually again)
According to the data, 9.7 percent of Black women are enrolled in college. Asian women are second, with 8.7 percent working toward degrees, followed by Asian men at 8.4 percent, White women at 7.1 percent, Black men at 7.0 percent, Hispanic women at 6.6 percent, White men at 6.1 percent, and Hispanic men at 5.9 percent.

Your quarrel is with black men, now that I've boiled your argument down. Not with black people as a group, because the stereotype of athletic blacks does not stop at just the men, however extends to black women as well.
So what are the excuses made for black men?
If you believe all people are different then you are a racist. most people choose not to believe this because society and the media have told them that all people are equal. this isn't necessarily true
It is funny that you believe just because Sowell (a professor) stated something back in 1990 that agrees with what you believe that it is automatically correct and anyone else opinion is wrong.
You if anyone has been brain washed by even implying that racism is some real natural construct that exist within us all. Racism is just a social construct, which mean a term created by society, which created division between our species and created discrimination. At the end of the day we are all Homo Sapiens and what you are suggesting is only stereotyping (which is also a social construct), not racism.
And in this quote I took from you:
If you believe people are different you are not racist. There are multiple americans with brown skin who are different and have different cultures, but me recognizing their differences doesnt make me racist, same applies to white americans or red americans. Every one has talents or abilities that make the special and that isnt decided by race, but more so cultural upbringing and environmental factors.
But racism is explicitly referred to a races negative characteristics.Racism:the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.
