Amaterasu can still one shot 99% of NV though. Just because God level opponents can counter it doesn't make it bad.

After Itachi died Amatersu lost it's hype for me and it was tanked by multiple people including the Juubi which just broke away the burning part.

It was never nerfed, every time it was used it was a strong attack it just so happens every time it was used it was countered some way. It was stopped by removing body armor, twice. It is the least effective of the top tier moves intro'd. No need to change my words.
