He is a R&B siger and rapper. Usually you're either one or the other. But I think he's the first to be able to do both. He was also an actor on a show called degrassi or something like that long before he started his music career. And he's not a wannabe thug that raps all about shooting and killing and all that other stuff. In my opinion he changed the style of a lot of rappers as a lot of them now use a little of his style.
