I would add that in latest chapter we got real name of Elite group and it's Schutzstaffel. Third Reich elite army had same name.

Thought this was obvious simply because of their uniforms plus let's take a look at their names and some of their abilities. Yhwach is a German name Vanderiech sounds German as well Plus Bazz B where is mostif just like the Nazi soldiers did.​

I don't know why Kubo would use Nazi references, hasn't his manga sunk low enough, the Quincy are not even portrayed as evil enough for such a basis, my opinion of him has lowered yet again, its not a subject to be treated so trivially, has he never read a history book or did he just gloss over the bad parts, the fact that Ichigo's sword also has a swastika hilt, makes me worry as to what he is alluding to.

Unless he was alluding to Ichigo's connection to the Quincy back then, I hope not, I wouldn't like to think that much thought went into his current half arsed plot as that would be pretty pathetic as the best he can do

I posted a detailed analysis on this. The whole manga is a mix of religion and world war 2 refs.

Countless Germans died at the hands of the Nazi's in horrible, horrible ways, basing a manga villain on them that can illicit sympathy and fandom is very naive. Its also a stereotype of Germans and a trivialization not to mention unimaginative and clichéd
