Quick thought on Shisui's Death/Disapearance!

I posted a thread earlier about Shisui and if he was actually dead or not..there a have been a few others today in light of the anime that came out today!

Now I have been pondering the statement that Itachi told Naruto...He said the Shisui that he erased his existance?

This is prolly a little far fetched but hear me out...

Could Shisui have used his MS: Kotoamatsukami on Itachi ( the only living person who knows he is alive after faking his suicide ) to make him think he was dead...?
This would have also given Itachi his MS cause he would have thought he helped kill Shisui when in fact he did not..?

I believe this would have been longer than 10 years..which would be sufficent time for the dojutsu to come back and break the edo on Itachi...
Maybe Im reaching but just a thought...

Remember his corpse was never recovered (kabuto was pissed) it was stated many times that he wanted to use Shisui for his edo!!!
I guess Itachi could have destroyed it but IDK....

Even if he was alive, I honestly don't see what he could possibly contribute to the plot. He wasn't the one who knows everything and there's nowhere else in the story he can fit

But if KA works once only 10 years, and it's only been 8 years since Shisui's death yet the eye was used once more, how does that make sense? It wasn't used...

I know what you mean. Kishi usually doesn't keep bringing stuff up for no reason. Like how we kept getting bits and pieces about the past lives of all the Hokage, and now they're all revived. Kishi usually has a reason for bringing up the past. But idk

Yeah, because Shisui died only a few months before the Massacre. So at least 8 years, at most 9 years. Still not enough.

Itachi said that it specifically takes Hashirama's DNA, not just the DNA of any random Senju.

Possible (there had to be a reason the eye was recovering) but I don't think he will be making an appreance anytime soon. If he was alive....but we all know he's dead. Both his eyes gone. Now he would be just a house wife or a normal Shinobi with uchiha blood. He could take some spare eyes in Obito's Sharingan collection wall but we know he's dead now. But I like the theory could be true. See what Kishi brings us. Till then. Cheers

Thanks..yeah I guess he wouldnt be much of a challenge if anyone came across him..unless he somehow got someone elses eyes from somewhere but yeah wait and see

Dude it says it right there in your manga scan. Danzo took 1 eye, he gave the other eye to itachi and died silently...he made them think that he destroyed his 1 remaining eye, an killed himself so that danzo wouldn't acquire them both or know that he entrusted his eye to Itachi. Manga is proof, you can't just go off of a mistranslation from the anime. If shisui was still alive why would Itachi not have said out right??? If you take anime which isn't done by Kishi over manga facts you are gonna get a bad reputation on this site.

Read the manga man....when the police force came to question Itachi about the CONFIRMED death of Shisui and he fought them, then kneeled to apologize sasuke witnessed his eye change to the MS, that's when he questioned his dad on the different levels of sharingans, so clearly he had MS at time of Shisui encounter....I think you should re read a few chapters man...
