This whole idea came about when I was talking with one of my friend about the recent chapter and he was quite confident on this ending that I have had for quite some time, and a lot of it makes sense (to me at least).
As many have stated, and even the Bijuu have stated, Naruto is the next So6P. Even The Sage himself said Naruto will be better or more pure than him. What is the Sage's main enemy? The Jubi/The God Tree.
From my understanding none can simply erase or destroy The God Tree, it has always been around. The funny part I find is it becomes an entity once Kaguya Ōtsutsuki picks the fruit of it, always trying to get it's power back. Why? My guess is because it knows humans are not responsible enough for all the power it holds. All that power basically gets put into The Sage himself who manages to separate the Jubi and prolong it's dominance and hatred over humans. But the power and hatred of the Jubi is still in existence.
He separates the Jubi into the 9 Tailed Beast, one of which eventually gets put into Naruto, The Sage's successor. So what can Naruto do differently that The Sage himself couldn't do? The same thing he has been doing the entire series. As corny or impossible as you may think it sounds, Naruto will befriend the Jubi, possibly in a never ending struggle.
It should help that everyone finds Naruto's TnJ abilites boring and repetitious, well how do you think it's going to end. What has Naruto's TnJ abilities and actions done the whole time? Remove hatred and bring people together. The Jubi's is the exact opposite, Madara and mainly Obito unknowingly carried out it's actions. What sides of the war do you see? Naruto/SA and Jubi/Madara/Obito.
It's simply Love vs Hate, Selfishness vs Self Sacrifice. Feel free to elaborate or just simply bash.
Theory in short:
- Naruto becomes The Sage's successor, seals the Jubi along with all it's power, possibly nerfing all ninja. Dies or is unreachable.
- Sasuke becomes Hokage, which Uchiha have never been
