[Question] Quick Question

Well, I got a 3 questioned survey that asks me if I visit this site (specifically this one), and it I answered the 3 questions, and it told me "to claim the prize." One option was out of stock, another was an Ipad, and another was a 500$ Visa gift card. But anyway, I want to know if this is a real kind of website thing, or just some scam?

Reasons why I feel it could be fake:

Because this kind of stuff is too good to be true.
It's not like I was a registered member, so I don't see why I would get rewarded for answering a 3 questioned survey o-o.

Reasons why I feel it could be real:

It didn't ask for a credit card number, and usually that's what they ask for if they're going to hack you or something.
It named this site specifically, and I've never seen some stupid "survey" that named the site specifically.


So, I just want to ask, is this something relevant to the site? Or is it just a scam?

If you had done it, they would have been calling your phone everyday with spam..

Those things are usually just spam. Some of them will even steal your personal information (that they sell to other people or use to impersonate you), or attempt to install malware onto your computer.
You should probably avoid them in the future, as they seem too good to be true, and it's not worth the trouble.

Thanks, I've just never seen something like this before. I know I may have seem like some stupid 11 year old. But I have been on forums before with occasional giveaways, and I've never seen a scam like that that mentions a website, I've only seen the ones where it just says "congratulations you've won!"

So I kind of do have my reasons. Sorry if it seems like a rather dumb question. xD

Exactly this^^ I actually fell for it last year when I was 14 and some random man was calling my phone constantly asking something about community college. -0_0-

This type of thing has not and probably will not ever happen on this site. At best, if the staff actually considered doing it, they would do it via the forums and you would know that it was legitimate. I'm quite certain it will not happen. Take the advice above and disregard the spam.
