Can I ask something? because I'm pretty slow.

Meaning of reincarnation.
1. Rebirth of the soul in another body.
2. A reappearance or revitalization in another form; a new embodiment.

So, my question.
Is Naruto just Ashura in a different body?

If that's the case then I'll be very disappointed.

I'm not very smart when it comes to souls and stuff.
So yeah, if someone could enlighten me about this whole reincarnation thing, that'd be cool.
I've not seen threads explaining it.

That's what it does mean but I think Kishi messed up. The Sage Later said that it's like Naruto is possessed by a ghost in a way.

Basically, Ashura's spirit lives on and resides in Naruto. In the context I would choose 2 as the more appropriate definition of reincarnation. The Sage meant Ashura's spirit lives on in Naruto, not exactly the very soul of Ashura.

Maybe Ashura's soul mixed with the Naruto or sth like that? Or we could say it is Ashura's soul in Naruto body, eh I dunno.
But I can guarantee that Naruto isn't Ashura XD
Fu*k this shit is complicated. :mad:_@:

In a way it's as if Naruto has inherited Ashura's will (Like the Will of Fire)...not exactly him being his reincarnation.

We'll have to wait for the Viz translation or the next chapter. For now I think they are the same person but in different eras.

See the whole thing is just too simple to understand but it requires vision a close one, see sage said that naruto is reincarnation of ashura which means soul which naruto possesses is of ashura and if you've read any holy books then you have seen there is that soul is indestructible, now question arises if naruto is reincarnation of ashura why does he didn't have any memory of past the answer is simple as only soul is transferred from one body to another not the memory, just like any edo tensei summoned person who have tag of the summoner in his brain, you get that :hint:
