EX: Which is "more powerful", FTG (versatility), Shrina Tensei (large scale damage), or Sasori's poison (overall effectiveness)

Damage per second multiplied by people. Something that does overwhelming damage over a short time period is more powerful than something that takes three days to kill (and only affects one person per use). Of course, if you can absorb or dodge this jutsu, then there was 0DPS to begin with, which means this power is negligible to you.
