Quick question about 298

Just want to confirm with you guys if I understand this chapter right:

So kakashi uses kamui to transport naruto's bijuu clone to the other dimension where tobi goes to evade a move. The bijuu clone from the other dimension hits tobi in the face in the other dimension.

Am i correct so far?
Sometimes, reading through the manga is just so hard to decipher without the color. Why is it that manga is done in Black and white instead of color? Any particular reason? It shouldn't take too long to paint these out before releasing them.

I think you're correct about the clone being in the other dimension. For the colour question, it takes a lot longer to colour and i'm not sure about this but I think the authors get allocated the number of colour pages they can have in the magazine from shonen jump.

The color limit makes so much sense.
I wish these would always come out in color. Also, you'd think that 1 out of the milion naruto fans out there would have the time to color it and submit it for our viewing pleasure. Lol.

I believe this slide of the manga Tobi says Kakashi made the clone disappear and not the rasengan.

Yup. You are correct. BM Naruto clone w/ rasengan was in different dimension, waiting for Tobi to enter. If Tobi didnt go into the different dimension, he would be ****ed up by that Bijuu Bomb.

Well most Mangaka especially those with Jump, have a certain deadline they must reach.(He gotta get it publish, if the publisher doesn't like it, Kishi has to rewrite/redraw it) People want to read Naruto every week. Colored pages is expensive and takes more time.


Think about how often American Comics come out compared to Manga.

I see. So the bijjuu bomb was just a way to ensure tobi would escape to the other dimension for the clone to attack him. This is how i envisioned tobi would finally be hit. Sweet!

The thing with fans coloring it, is that it will confuse people.

If Kishi reveals a new character or a new move, without a colored page. We have no idea what color anything is.
