Chrome is a very slender, yet muscular young person in his teenage years. He has fairly short, messy dark blue hair and his hair bangs fall between his eyes giving him a distinctive look. He is know for his good looks as most of the women are attracted towards him just by looking at him. Chrome usually wears a blue medieval type of clothes with no sleeve on his right hand but during battles, he equips himself with an armor which covers his entire body except for his head. His clothes consist of two straps cross cutting each other, forming an 'X' which is then attached to a ninja pouch at the end of one cross mark. Chrome also has a sword which he likes to call Excalibur and straps to his left hip. The length of the blade is quite long and so, the cover almost touches the ground while standing.

Chrome's personality is something which cannot be depicted by simple words. First of all, he basically does not have any fixed personality on his own due to his care free nature. The only way his personality can be determined is when the situation around him changes which would alter his mood, causing him to see things in a different manner. Chrome sometimes seems to be emotionally concerned about his comrades but sometimes bases the things on logic and understanding rather than being full of emotion. Chrome can also be angered easily and takes some of the jokes about him a bit serious as he has a less sense of humor. These reasons cause the mood of Chrome to change almost all the time and may talk even like an idiot in some situations. Another unique thing about Chrome is that, he does not stay still for a long time. If he comes to a place for a while, the next moment he suddenly disappears of into some other place. He has taken a liking towards noodles and prefers to take rest most the time in order to conserve his energy. He is very lazy and of care free nature which is why most of his works turn up very late than they are supposed to be submitted. Being the leader of the Mandalores, Chrome has a slight sense of leadership and does not tolerate someone deflecting the clan or talking something ill about it. Even with these personality problems, Chrome is usually kind and caring towards his friends and would do anything for their safety

歴史|History

Chrome was born in a village that used to be a place for waging wars by the Great Villages. Just like that place looked, he was born to a very poor family and was not able to come up at all due to this poverty. A sudden disease struck both of them, eventually killing them in due course of time leaving Chrome to see their slow and painful death. At such a young age, he was not able to handle this stress and broke down in the streets with nothing to do at all until sometime a person came and took him in as his own child. Chrome was then sent to the academy school where he excelled in almost every phase. He was like a prodigy out of all the other students. Some of the people recognized his talent and gave their aid in order for Chrome to become even more stronger. Long ago, he used to be a nobody in the streets of Amegakure but now he was very special that most of the people acknowledged him.

As time passed by, he started to master many new things under great teachers and this continued on for a while. Due to being a person from Amegakure, Chrome took up the rain test once and passed it with flying colors and is right now undergoing training in order to completely master it. But Chrome got bored of staying in Amegakure and wanted to experience something totally new, totally abnormal. So he decided to leave his village and heads towards Konohagakure which was known to be the greatest village of it's time. After a very tough journey, Chrome was finally able to reach the gates of Konohagakure and there he was questioned about why he wanted to join. Being new there, nobody didn't know Chrome at all and doubted his skills at first. A year and half went by and Chrome was officially declared as the Peace General of the village due to his skills in battle as well the brilliance of his mind to organize many piled up things into a single and neat thing. But after a few months, due to certain personal reasons, Chrome had to place his resignation as the Peace General.

In some point of his life, Chrome joined up with the Mandalore clan as they were well known to be a pure Taijutsu powerhouses. Just as expected of him, he raised through the ranks just like that and even gained permission to use all the Mandalorian techniques even though he was not in the clan for long. Just after a few months from this, the leader of that time, Genos Stark wanted to resign for personal issues and passed it down into the hands of Chrome with full trust. Almost everyone were surprised because of this and this made Chrome very famous in the Ninja World as he was able to achieve a big thing in a short amount of time and that too at a very young age. The clan was also known for it's frequent leader change and Chrome recognized this problem. He bought a bit of stability in the clan by remaining the leader for half an year and will remain the leader for the oncoming years until he gets tired of being one.

Chrome wanted to increase his skills in the field of Taijutsu to such an extent that he won't be beaten by anyone in it. Just around that time, Chrome was offered to be taught the Chop Hanging Rippling Fist by one of his fellow clan member. Chrome saw the potentiality of the mix of Mandalorian armor and the ripple strike patterns which is the main foundation on which the CFS was based on and gladly took up the offer. In a few months, Chrome become an official practitioner of this fighting style and also gained the permission to create his very own branched fighting techniques within the Chop Hanging Rippling Fist.

Lightning Specialty

While he was being trained, Chrome took an interest towards Lightning because it held the capability of destroying almost everything in it's path and was very fast. This caused a change of mind to Chrome and he trained in it almost everyday which gave him the perk to perform all the lightning techniques by just a single hand seal. Chrome can also stay immune to the effects of Chidori Nagashi.

Water Affinity

Just like the nature of the village he was born was water, he took a secondary interest towards the element Water as it was tangible and could be shaped into any form desired. He developed interest when he passed the rain test and water was a essential part of it. Essentially, Chrome gained the perk to perform all the water techniques with a faster hand seal rate than the other ninjas of his caliber.

Taijutsu Specialist

Taijutsu has always been something that was totally advantageous to Chrome. He mastered the entire Taijutsu, except for Kaito Taijutsu which gives him an additional speed boost along with extra tracking abilities. With these, Chrome is able to track even more powerful enemies easily. As a practitioner of Chop Hanging Rippling Fist, Chrome is known to be very deadly at close quarters and is totally immune to free form taijutsu due to his armor.

Mandalorian Armor & Techniques

Chrome has an armor which is totally unique from the other members of the clan. He has a medieval type of armor which covers most of his body except for his head. The armor is slight blue in color and has a sword strap attached to it in which holds the Excalibur. The armor is said to be so strong that no free form weapon can even put a scratch on it. With the help of a transformation technique which Chrome has learnt in his journey, he transformed the helmet part into that of a ear piece type of thing which he puts it in his ear. Since the transformation technique just changes the physical form, Chrome retains all the powers of the helmet.

Description: This jutsu is simply an expansion of a basic ninja skill learned in the academy. The basic transformation jutsu allows the user to transform himself into virtually anything based around his imagination. The technique is designed to allow someone to use a larger amount of chakra, and shape control, in order to be able to transform inanimate objects around him, that he is touching in a similar way to the canon transformation technique. The user uses shape transformation, and extremely precise chakra control to not physically change it but to change its appearance in a way similar to the transformation jutsu. Like the transformation technique, the object's actual physical properties are not changed. For example if the user was to transform a brick into a feather, the newly transformed feather would weigh the same as a brick, and have the same mass; the reverse is also true. In addition, the transformation will revert after being hit by a elemental jutsu of B rank or below, following the elemental strengths and weaknesses.

Description: All Mandalorians have a basic armor, the armor they are given when they are first inducted into the clan. A members armor is special: It's designed for them by the leader of the clan. The Mandalorian armor is beyond the technology the rest of the world possesses. Even though all armors look different the abilities they posses are the same. As the member grows stronger he gains access to more of the technological advances, having his armor "upgraded". The armor has 2 sets of abilities: passive and active (that take up a move slot and do damage). The armor, being specifically made for the individual is perfectly in sync with his/her chakra system, it flows throughout them and their armor. This was the technological breakthrough the enabled the armor to function as a second skin for the ninja. Not only does it allow complete control over the armor through chakra pulses and chakra control but it also allows the user to release techniques that would otherwise be released from his skin or his mouth, etc from the armor, something that negates any limitation to the users ninjutsu usage, specially elemental.

Passive Abilities:
General
-Basic Protection: The Mandalorian armor is made of strong materials and infused with chakra, granting it resistance against weaker attacks. Free form Ninja tools and explosive tags, bladed weapons and attacks that do no damage (N/A) as well as simple taijutsu attacks (C rank) have no effect on the armor. The protection allows the user to remain undamaged for the most part when facing said attacks but cannot negate momentum or kinetic forces.
Helmet
-Gas Mask: The Mandalorian's helmet protects them from harmful gases, toxins or airborne pathogens. The helmet contains a breathing apparatus that filters harmful external agents in the air, allowing a degree of protection against said agents by purifying the air. In the case of enemy techniques, this protection works up to C-Rank techniques.
-Communication: The helmet contains a communication device linked to all other Mandalorians which uses chakra to transmit messages through great distances. It can even project images that the users sees.
Body Armor
-Heat/Cold and Electrical Protection: The Mandalorian armor, being infused with chakra and made from strong resistant materials protects the user from taking damage from high and low temperatures and electrical damage up to D-Rank. The armor cannot be short circuited but will face normal damage from anything above that rank, with temperature based attacks behaving normally (melting the armor if hot enough or freezing it if cold enough), same as it would with the users body, and lightning based attacks cutting through it.

Active Abilities:
Helmet
-Enhanced Vision: The Mandalorian armor has a special visor that is powered by chakra, that enables the user to gain an advanced vision that can mimic the motion tracking speed of a 1 Tomoe Sharingan. Beyond the motion tracking abilities, the user gains the ability to see the world through a sort of thermal vision, based on the infrared spectrum. This also allows a limited form of night vision (its use drains 5 chakra points per turn and its activation counts as a move).
-Chakra Sensing: The Mandalorian armor's helmet contains special chakra receptors that allow the user to gain spacial awareness of nearby chakra. This acts as a sort of rudimentary chakra sensing. The user cannot differentiate between different individuals chakra or elements and even assessing chakra levels is very difficult (chakra sensing drains 5 residual chakra points from the user per turn and its activation counts as a move). However, this basic chakra sensing is secondary to the main ability given by the chakra receptors in the helmet which is to monitor the users own chakra flow. The armor can alert the user about any alteration to the chakra flow through visual, auditory or tactile stimulus throughout his body. If the user so wishes, the user can release himself from the genjutsu with a sort of kai but without a hand seal, disrupting the chakra flow by having the armor "jolt" his own chakra flow (30 chakra cost, works on illusions up to A-Rank, usable once every 3 turns, counts as a move).
Body Armor
-Chakra Jet Pack: The Mandalorian armor has a small group of chakra vents throughout the armor. The jet pack uses chakra from the armor's wielder to create controllable jets which can be used to dodge techniques, boosts ones taijutsu or simply achieve flight. The flight is controllable and highly maneuverable though only slightly faster than the users own base speed (drains 20 chakra points per turn, activation counts as a B-Rank move, requires conscious control through mental commands). The addition of taijutsu damage is possible by selectively activating the users peripheral jets in specific points of his movement and according to various situations, capable of adding +10 damage to a taijutsu move and a sudden drastic increase in speed by spending 20 chakra points. To dodge a technique, the user can release a quick directional burst of chakra that can propel him a short distance (Up to 5 meters) in a single direction, achieving a simple linear dash (30 chakra cost, counts as an A-Rank move).
-Vibration Sword: a retractable, short ninjato blade, strapped to the armors back, the sword uses the wielders chakra to create high levels of vibration and use that to increase physical damage. As such, when uses, physical Kenjutsu techniques gain +10 damage. The sword drains 10 chakra points per turn when active.
-Armor Strengthening: As the whole armor contains various chakra motors and enhances, the user can charge the whole armor with chakra to temporarily boost his physical abilities, namely his speed and his physical strength. Being mechanical in nature, the armor can only focus on either speed or strength. This can be done in 2 levels: Level 1 increases speed in 50% or adds +10 damage to all taijutsu. Level 2 doubles the users speed or adds +20 to the users taijutsu. The limitation is the duration and chakra cost. Level 1 drains 10 chakra points per turn, lasting a maximum time of 3 turns, usable thrice. Level 2 is usable only twice, drains 20 chakra per turn, lasting 2 turns.

Description : The will to keep fighting even if in the worsts situations or simply the will and pride a mandolore has. Mandolorians whom want to keeping fighting for their sheer thirst for blood, will use their will and force from deep within them, to keep fighting and gain a small boost. Only the strongest of the Mandolorian clan members are able to use this, feeling the need to protect their younglings and having too much pride to lose a battle. Upon using their will, the Mandolore gains +5 extra to all ninjutsu they use, and +10 to all taijutsu aswell. After the technique is worn out, the user's stamina decreases depending on the situation. If used at the start of battle then they will decrease -5 on all ninjutsu and -10 to all taijutsu he uses, for the next turn only. If used when being already worn out (after 4-6 turns have passed before using) their stamina will decrease the same way, however, it will remain like that for the following 3 turns.

Description: This is one of the basic but useful attacks of the Mandalore clan. The user holds up one or both of their hands showing a white hole in each palm. The palm releases out a blast of chakra various of damage, size, and power depending on rankof the technique. The palm can either release a blast, beam, or even a wide spread of chakra.
-S-Rank beam once used, there is a three turn cool down and can be used only three times.
-This technique is neutral to the basic elemental techniques of the same rank but of course it all depends on size also to be taken into account

Mandalorian Technique: Owl Squadron | Rorian no Jutsu: Fukuro Sentai

Description: Upon entering the clan each Mandalore is given four Owls which act as their eyes in the field to scout ahead and search for targets. The Mandalore will release four metallic discs into the air and then make a hand seal while focusing chakra into the discs. This will activate the discs causing them to expand into four drones which can hover and fly through the air using chakra boosters. The drones are about one meter wide, a half meter long and a foot thick from top to bottom with rounded surfaces. They're a metallic gray in color, though individual Mandalores often apply custom paint designs to personalize their squadron. Each drone is naturally equipped with a spotlight and a camera that is linked via chakra to the helmet and feeds back to the Mandalore's visor displaying what the drone sees. Each feed takes up a small square on the visor in each of the four corners as to not disrupt the user's normal vision, but they can then select one of the feeds to expand it to take up the whole visor for a better view. When they do this their normal vision takes the place of that feed in its respective corner. As the Mandalore progresses through the clan these drones receive upgrades gaining additional abilities.

-Assault System: At Warrior rank each Owl is outfitted with several offensive tools. A compartment can drop open from its base releasing a dozen small bombs the size of a marble that float in the air around the target before exploding (B-rank, short range). From each side of the drones compartment can open revealing a small homing rocket that can be fired at the target. The rocket is very fast incapable of being intercepted by things like thrown kunai or shuriken, unless the enemy has a dojutsu that's used to track the rocket. Each of these individual rockets are B-rank in strength and a max of two can be fired at a time (A-rank, short-long range). Each drone only has two rockets, and one set of bombs in its base. The final ability of the assault system is an A-ranked stream of fire that can be released from a nozzle on the front of the Owls (A-rank, short-mid range). Each of these abilities counts as a move in the user's turn and requires the user's chakra to activate.

-Defensive System: At Champion rank each Owl is outfitted with several upgrades used in the defense of themselves and their user. Their plating is upgraded with a new alloy that is both lighter and denser than the original model, bolstering their natural hardiness and rendering them immune to all C-rank and below attacks. They can further increase their durability by creating an A-ranked shield of chakra that that forms closely over the metal. The shield is capable of withstanding one A-rank attack before failing. While this shield is active they cannot use any abilities other than their spotlight and camera. The drones can extend their chakra shield between each other creating barriers that can protect the user or other targets. This requires at least three drones to use as any less would result in just a point or a straight line. The drones must be in short range of each other and when used with three drones the barrier is A-rank, while when used with all four it is S-rank. Each of these abilities counts as a move in the user's turn and requires the user's chakra to activate.

-Hunter System: At Master rank each Owl is upgraded with several features that give it the ability to track and subdue a target. The owls are given the ability to cloak themselves (B rank) from normal sight, though dojutsu users can still see them with ease and the humming of their flight can be heard within short range by people with normal hearing and all ranges by those with advanced hearing. While cloaked the Owls can only use their hunter systems, needing to re-route power away from the assault and defensive systems. They gain access to the same vision capabilities (infrared, night, etc.) that their Mandalore possesses, though they all must be using the same vision as each other and their Mandalore. They can release an electrified metallic tendril up to mid-range that can wrap around their target and paralyze them (A-rank). Each of these abilities counts as a move in the user's turn and requires the user's chakra to activate.

After four turns of being in use the drones require a recharge. They will return back to the user and re-attach to their armor replenishing their energy. This takes several turns before they can be released again. After the second usage the Owls deactivate and fall to the ground, being unusable for the remainder of the battle. Each Owl is lastly equipped with a self destruct option that can be activated by the user resulting in a B-rank explosion within short range.

Kurotsuchi has short, black hair and pupil-less, pink eyes (depicted as black in the anime) that are accentuated by her eyelashes running upwards at the corners. She wears the standard attire of the Iwa-nin consisting of a red uniform with her right sleeve missing and a lapel over her right leg, the brown Iwagakure flak jacket, fishnet tights and a skirt over them. She also wears regular shinobi sandals and a pair of gloves.

Years later, she abandons her forehead protector, and dons a red dress with a sleeve on the left side. She also started wearing red nail polish.

Kurotsuchi is generally calm and easy-going. She has displayed a powerful loyalty to her village, as she was more interested in killing the jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails and Nine-Tails than actually protecting them. She decided this was the best plan so Iwa could become stronger than Konoha and Kumo, something she picked up from her grandfather. It is shown that she does care for her comrades, as she was prepared to fight to avenge Akatsuchi after he was injured despite their constant arguments.

Like her grandfather, Ōnoki, she is very audacious. She often sarcastically implies that because the Tsuchikage suffers from back pain he should be replaced by someone younger. It is implied she has a low opinion of messenger ninja, referring to Naruto as a "minion" while under the belief he was one. She also has an immature side to her, which she hides, as seen when she reprimands Akatsuchi on his childish excitement about flying when they were heading towards Genbu, though she was secretly excited about the prospect as well.

Kurotsuchi has the utmost confidence in her skills, as seen when battling and capturing Kabuto. This trait makes her somewhat arrogant of her abilities, which she seemingly inherited from her grandfather.

Five Kage Summit

Kurotsuchi and Akatsuchi escorted the Third Tsuchikage to the Five Kage meeting. When they were leaving the Tsuchikage hurt his hips trying to carry his own luggage, so she suggested that he should retire. Despite this, they managed to arrive at the Land of Iron without further incidents. During the meeting, she came to the Tsuchikage's defence during the Fourth Raikage's outburst.

When Kurotsuchi heard that Sasuke Uchiha had infiltrated the meeting, she asked for permission to fight the man who defeated Deidara. The Tsuchikage agreed, but told her to keep out of the Raikage's way. She watched Sasuke's battle from the shadows and, when Sasuke caused the room to collapse, she created a dome to protect herself from falling debris. She also fended off Zetsu's Spore Technique. While leaving the Land of Iron, she suggested to the Tsuchikage that they eliminate Killer B and Naruto so they can foil Madara Uchiha's Eye of the Moon Plan and weaken Konohagakure and Kumogakure. When he disagreed, she exclaimed that he wasn't acting like the stubborn old man she knew of. He responded that he remembered who he was before he became a "hard-headed old man".

Upon their return to Iwagakure, they receive approval from the Earth Daimyō to continue on with the shinobi alliance. After Akatsuchi had informed Kurotsuchi about their encounter with Madara Uchiha, she mocks her grandfather by comparing his age to Madara's. She later shares her thoughts on the upcoming war, finding it unimaginable.

Paradise Life on a Boat

In the anime, Kurotsuchi and Akatsuchi were sent by the Tsuchikage in a diplomatic mission to improve Kirigakure's relationship with Iwagakure, along with Chōjūrō, who was also sent by the Fifth Mizukage on the same mission to stop Ganryū in the process. After arriving the two were attacked by Ganryū and several of his allies. Despite the intervention of Naruto whose ship had stopped at the island to resupply she treated him poorly under the belief that he was a simple messenger ninja, after Akatsuchi was injured she went to battle Ganryū for revenge defeating all of the shadow clones Naruto created to stop her. Arriving after Naruto had managed to non-violently settle the dispute, she accepted Ganryū's apology. After seeing Naruto off after his ship was restocked she expressed annoyance after realising he had forgotten to introduce himself.

Fourth Shinobi World War: Countdown

Upon returning to their village, they were informed that the Earth Daimyō has approved the formation of the Allied Shinobi Forces. She and Akatsuchi then joined Ōnoki to reinforce the garrison on Genbu, before spotting and attacking Kabuto Yakushi and Deidara. After Ōnoki drew Deidara away to avoid damaging the turtle, she battled Kabuto and managed to trap him so that he could be interrogated by Aoba. However, Kabuto later freed himself by reverting into his snake-like form, claiming that knowing about Kurotsuchi's techniques beforehand had aided him in his escape. Knowing Kurotsuchi's techniques also helped him in lowering everyone's guard, giving him an opportunity to capture Yamato. Kurotsuchi chased after Kabuto, but Kabuto was able to hide in Manda II's nose and released the Summoning Technique, vanishing along with the giant snake.

Fourth Shinobi World War: Confrontation

After escorting Genbu back to Kumogakure, she is assigned to the Second Division of the Allied Shinobi Forces, unhappy with the fact that her father was her commander. Later on she used Earth Release: Opening Earth Rising Excavation with her father to unearth the White Zetsu Army and starts fighting them. After a long fight with the Zetsu Army, she retreated along with her division and the members of the Fifth Division so they could aid Darui's division.

In the anime, Kurotsuchi later visited the Fifth Division to speak with Deidara. She is later escorted by Okisuke to where Deidara was. While she interrogated Deidara about Kabuto Yakushi's whereabouts, she brings up the fact that Sasuke Uchiha was still alive and is a member of the Akatsuki which shocked Deidara who believed he had killed him. Kurotsuchi becomes annoyed by Deidara's lack of co-operation Deidara is giving and asks if the White Zetsu Army clone impersonating a Samurai could open Kuroari so she could speak to him. Before he could do so, news reaches the division of the impersonators within their ranks which leads Okisuke to question the samurai in front of him. Giving the wrong answer, the samurai is cut down mercilessly but Deidara still manages to escape. While chasing Deidara, Kurotsuchi is later trapped in the Hiding in Frost Technique cast by Chūkichi but he is quickly summoned away by Kabuto. Kurotsuchi, Kankurō and the Fifth Division soon caught up to Deidara and realise that he has planted land mines underground and reacted by using Lava Release: Quicklime Congealing Technique to stop the land mines from exploding once she touched the ground, Deidara then exploded and escaped once again. Kurotsuchi transforms into Sasuke Uchiha and finds Deidara and leads him off into a trap and re-seal Deidara inside Kuroari again and Kurotsuchi leaves. During the next day of battle, Kurotsuchi and the others were able to successfully defeat the Akatsuki forces that opposed them, and she, along with the remaining persons in her division made their way to the battlefield where the jinchūriki were.

Fourth Shinobi World War: Climax

She later stood alongside the other members of the Allied Shinobi Forces as they faced their opposition. Putting Shikaku's plan into action after her father and his team, sink the beast into a hold, Kurotsuchi and several other Lava Release bearers pour quicklime on the beast which is later mixed with water and super-dried by members of the Sarutobi clan. She later stood alongside her grandfather when he re-entered the battlefield and responded to his rousing speech with a fearsome war cry.

Edward is small for his age, standing at only 149 cm (4'11") at the beginning of the series, despite his attempts to appear taller. He wears his golden-blond hair long - usually tied in a braid that hangs down to his shoulders, but sometimes forgoing the braid for a simpler ponytail. He parts his bangs in the middle so that they frame his face on either side as they fall and, in the center of the parting, he leaves a single strand of hair sticking up like an antenna. Ed's eye color is quite rare, it is gold in color.

Ed wears as his trademark a bright red, long-sleeved, hooded cloak whose tail comes down to his upper calves. Emblazoned in black on the back is a Flamel, signifying his tutelage under the master Izumi Curtis. It is likely that Edward fashioned this cloak for himself, as he needs to repair it often. He seems particularly partial to black and will nearly always dress in black trousers and some sort of black shirt under his coat. As part of his attempts to seem taller, Edward is rarely seen without his elevator shoes - black leather boots with thick, red soles. Additionally, he frequently wears white gloves when in public to conceal the fact that his right arm is artificial.

As a result of his accident, Edward was fitted with full steel automail prosthetics. His left leg from just above the knee downward is automail and his automail right arm reaches all the way up to his shoulder; both are designed so that their outer shells resemble modernized plate mail and will be handy when in battles.

On the surface, Edward displays an immature sort of personality. He is decidedly stubborn and strong-willed, frequently letting his pettiness and vindictiveness get the better of him. He is somewhat selfish and remarkably self-absorbed, generally acting more out of self-interest than any sort of philanthropy as well as taking several opportunities to stroke his own ego or flaunt the governmental power and monetary license of his military position. He is largely hostile towards figures of authority and feels little incentive to follow orders with which he disagrees, earning him the distinction of being a loose cannon of sorts. Edward is also rather quick-tempered, resorting more often to steel-fisted violence than calm negotiation to settle disputes. He has a reputation for being foul-mouthed and is an incurably sarcastic cynic, only too happy to bluntly and harshly relieve others of their comfortable delusions regarding god, reality, or their own self-importance. Edward has also displayed a propensity towards impatience and an inability to sit still for long, which perhaps contributes to his love of travel.

However, for those few people who have made an impact on him, Ed shows his deeper nature to be one of marked selflessness, unflinching loyalty, and great compassion. As someone who has had to suffer greatly at such a young age, Edward cannot ignore the true suffering of others and becomes sympathetic upon sensing pain and resolve in people's hearts. Though his solemn advice to such people is often tempered with brusque criticism, it is only because he genuinely wishes to place them on the most direct path forward. As one who has to struggle with a maimed body, he urges those with healthy bodies to use their strong legs to move forward, and as one burdened by the mistakes of his past, he stresses the necessity of people taking responsibility for their own errs. Though he will intervene on behalf of the oppressed if he concludes that a situation has called for it, Ed tends to help only those with the will - but not the means - to help themselves, in which case his recklessness and disdain for authority often has him bending the rules to dole out a Robin Hood-esque justice in accordance with his strong belief in the concept of Equivalent Exchange, earning him notoriety and popularity as a "hero of the people."

"Shorty?! Could a shorty do this?! What else you want to call me: a half-pint bean-sprout midget?! I'm still growing you backwater desert idiots!"

Of course, the most noticeable of Edward's dispositional characteristics is his Napoleonic denial of his shortness. Even in moments of relative composure, any and all references to his stature cause him to violently lose control of his emotions and lash out both verbally and physically. Distinctive to these outbursts is Ed's tendency to take even the most casual mention of his height as a gross insult and interpret it exaggeratedly, mistaking words as simple as "small" for phrases as contrived as "so-tiny-that-he-need-not-fear-being-crushed-by-a-boot-because-he-fits-so-easily-between-the-grooves-of-the-sole" and the like. Those unfortunate to utter the word "small" in his presence are fated to suffer one of his vindictive tantrums.

Though Edward proudly professes that he does not believe in gods, his spiritual sensibilities tend more toward the agnostic than the atheistic; in private, though he does not pray, he frequently acknowledges the existence of a god in his speech, if only to justify why it is that his life has been so difficult.

Ed's aesthetic sensibilities are also quite twisted in that he is a great fan of gothic or macabre fixtures and will usually transmute decorations filled with monstrous or demonic imagery and unnecessarily gaudy details, much to the dismay of anyone who receives a gift or service from him. He has also made it known that his trademark red coat is part of this general lack of taste, as it is "a badass color [that] gets the blood going."

歴史|History

Born to Trisha Elric and Van Hohenheim of Amegakure in the winter, Edward's first few years were relatively happy; but after the sudden departure of his father during the lad's formative years, Ed was left with his mother and younger brother Alphonse as his only family. The three Elrics lived in peace in the village and the boys began displaying a remarkable talent for controlling chakra at a young age, much to the joyful astonishment of his mother. However, just after a few months, Trisha contracted an illness that had been spreading in the area and died, leaving her two sons orphaned. Being a descent of Amegakure related member, Edward has the ability to use Rain.

Edward and Alphonse spent the next few years living on their own in the Elric family home, supported by their close childhood friend Winry Rockbell and her grandmother Pinako. Although they had gained a great deal of information and comprehension regarding the extended basics of the craft, before long it became apparent to the young prodigies that there was only so far they could go while being self-taught. In a stroke of good fortune, Amegakure was visited by an exceptionally skilled kunoichi named Izumi Curtis who, after some persuasion, agreed to take the Elric brothers on as her apprentices provided they pass a preliminary test. She brought the boys to a Island in the southern region, where she informed them that they were to survive for one full month without chakra manipulation. If, at the end of their ordeal, they could correctly explain the concept "One is All and All is One", they would begin their training under her wing.

For the next five months, the Elric brothers were subjected to Izumi's intensive chakra and physical combat training, growing significantly in both mind and body and gaining a great deal of knowledge before returning to Amegakure. In their attempt to try out something new in their home, the Elric brothers eventually tried out something beyond their power causing their bodies to disintegrate to an extent. Edward suffered the fate of losing his right hand and left leg while Alphonse's body was partially burnt. Hearing the commotion happening, the household members ran towards their room and were shocked to see the state they were in. The Elric brothers were immediately taken to the hospital where Edward was somehow saved by luck but fitted with useless prosthetics while Alphonse's body was somehow able to recover.

For the coming of a few years, Edward remained sad and gloomy in the entire period of time just wasting it by staying in a wheel chair. Luckily, fortune knocked on his door step where his relatives informed him that they know of a special type of prosthetic that enables a person to walk around like a normal human, heck, even fight like one. Edward listening to this, took off to that place and finally got hold of the weapon named Automail. But the problem was, no one was medically experienced enough to fit that prosthetic weapon to his nerve endings. So Edward decided that he would go to Konohagakure where he heard that a medical doctor was highly experienced. Upon reaching there, he requested the doctor who gladly accepted the request. The surgery was not a normal one since it was to be fitted directly to the nerves of the limbs. While attaching them, Edward went through excruciating pain that no one else must have felt in their life. Soon after the surgery was done, Edward decided to remain in Konohagakure itself as he felt that most of the villagers were to kind to him.

At some point of time, Edward got himself into the Mandalore clan, which was known to be the clan which possess technology far beyond the reach of ordinary ninjas. With the advanced prosthetic arm, Edward felt that he should get in the class and the leader of that time took him in. As months went by, Edward was quickly promoted through the ranks because of his determination and experience in the field of fighting. Ultimately, he was granted the title of Leadership and from that point, Edward put his mind into the clan working with it most of the time along with fellow members.

Lightning Mastery

Edward being totally interested in the element of Lightning due to it's high speed and the power of destructiveness, has trained daily so hard that he reached a level in which he can perform all lightning techniques in one hand seal. This capability also made him immune to Chidori Nagashi.

Fire Affinity

Since Edward was like the destructive type, he seemed to have taken a liking to the Fire element, which is known to cause a ruckus once used properly. Whenever he got the chance, he used Fire and kept on doing it until he achieved a perk. The perk was none other than to perform all the fire techniques which require hand seals, faster than any other average normal shinobi.

Taijutsu

Edward was deemed highly remarkable in the field of Close Quarters Combat. His speed combined with his Automail and the Mandalorian Armor made him the King of Close Combat. During battles, his opponents were highly surprised the speed at which Edward can run. This was all thanks to his vigorous training and determination with which he proceeded to achieve this sort of goal.

Automail

When Edward lost his right arm and left leg in Amegakure, he was just given an artificial limb which disabled him from entering into any sort of battles. Then a relative of his informed him that he knows of a weapon that might aid him. On his way to that place, he came across the perfect thing which he requires to make him move like a normal human being and attack like one while giving him extra abilities. It was nothing else other than the Automail. He took the automail with him to Konohagakure and kindly, Galen Marek did a surgery on Edward attaching the automail to him. The 'machine' is now fitted to Edward Elric and could not be used by anyone else.

Description: Automail is a form of prosthetic used by highly skilled ninjas if they have any missing limb. It is made of up of several alloys and metals so that it is almost indestructible. The founder of this thing was unknown but it was passed on to many people, and eventually fell into the hands of Edward Elric. He took up this weapon to his advantage as he has a missing right hand and a left leg. The user would require to undergo a surgery in order to connect the automail directly to the chakra system and that automail would move like a normal limb with the help of chakra motors present within it allowing free movement. Once the automail has been fitted, it can be used like a normal limb after a few days of rest. The automail can withstand any free form attack and can also withstand any free form sword attacks due to the nature of the automail (the mix of metals and alloys). Because its connected to the chakra system of the user and substitutes his limbs, the automail will behave, in regards to techniques, in the same manner as a normal limb would (it can be used for handseals, to conduct chakra, to release chakra from it, etc etc etc). The automail has two parts.

Arm - If a person loses a hand, he is fitted with a automail suitable to him. The hand contains various weapons and can be used freely as the user wishes. Inside the fingers of the automail arm, there are 10 senbons in each finger allowing the user to fire them individually or all at the same time. A socket has been fitted right above the wrist part of the automail which has a hidden blade in it capable of retracting and attacking the opponent. Near the elbow area of the automail, are fitted 3 sockets containing smoke bombs in it which can open up and release the smoke bombs anywhere as the user wishes.

Leg - The leg automail does not have much functions as the automail arm but provides very useful features. Under the feet of it, it has a piston and a spring inside the automail. When required, the user can activate these both at the same time to help him recieve a sudden boost of of speed in order to evade techniques etc. The direction of the movement depends upon how the leg is placed on the ground. The piston gathers air from the beneath and compresses it within the automail which can be released along with the spring to boost himself into the air. Just like the automail arm, the leg also has a hidden blade underneath the toes which can retract to make a spike like thing appear on the tip of the shoes which can be used to attack the opponent. Since the piston and the spring are located at the middle of the feet, the hidden blade is located at the frontal end of the feet.

Haku was a young man with an androgynous appearance and was even viewed as being beautiful by Naruto, who exclaimed that he was "prettier than Sakura", even after he informed him that he was male. He had long black hair, pale skin and large, dark-brown eyes, a slender frame, and was also quite short for his age. Haku's normal shinobi outfit consisted of the standard Kirigakure pinstriped outfit which stopped at his knees. Over this he wore a green haori with white trimmings, and around his waist a brown sash with a fringed trail wrapped around his waist twice.

He also wore light-brown platoon sandals with straps in the same colour as his kimono and nail polish on his fingernails and toenails in matching blue green colour. When wearing this outfit, Haku's long hair was gathered in a white bun holder, while two locks of his hair fell loose framing his face, bound with metal hair cuffs at the ends. Haku also wore a black forehead protector with the Kirigakure's symbol upon it. When in battle or moving covertly, he wore a hunter-nin mask on top of his forehead protector, which was white with thin, curved eye-holes and a red wavy design in place of the mouth, as well as the Kirigakure symbol etched in the top.

When Haku was not in combat, he wore his long hair loosely, and wore a pink, sleeveless kimono, with pale red edges and decorated with small plum-coloured swirls, that went to his ankles. Around his waist was a simple white obi tied in a bow, and he wore a pair of light brown sandals with dark straps. He also wore a dark-coloured choker around his neck.

When he was a child, Haku wore a over-large, shredded light-brown shirt which fell off his shoulders, and a pair of shredded knee-length pants, as well as the dark choker. Later when taken in by Zabuza, Haku is spotted wearing a short blue kimono with light blue edges and a dark grey split skirt, similar to those ones he wore as a shinobi, and also similar to those he wore as a younger child when his parents were alive..

Haku was a good-hearted, compliant, and eager shinobi, believing that a person becomes truly strong when they have someone important to protect. Despite his talent for battle, and incredible abilities, Haku disliked needing to kill others in his role as a tool, and avoided doing so whenever possible. When forced to face an opponent, Haku did all that he could to avoid inflicting great harm, even putting them into a death-like state to prevent them from fighting further, as he did to Sasuke during their battle. Before he met Zabuza, he suffered from a belief that he was unnecessary, and served Zabuza because he wanted to feel useful.

Prologue — Land of Waves

When Zabuza was about to be killed by Kakashi Hatake, Haku appeared, disguised as a hunter-nin, playing the part by appearing to kill Zabuza. He took the body, and, elsewhere, revived him, leaving Zabuza to rest a week before he could have a rematch with Kakashi. During this time, he met Naruto, and had a conversation with him about their purposes in life and those they care about.

During Zabuza's second fight with Kakashi, Haku (wearing the same mask as when he saved Zabuza) was drawn into battle with Kakashi's students: first Sasuke and then Naruto. He trapped both with his Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals, and bombarded them with needles, tiring them out. When Sasuke appeared to have died protecting Naruto from a "fatal" blow (in actuality being put in a death-like state by Haku), Naruto, in anger, tapped into the power of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox sealed within him. He was able to attack Haku, and break through the mirrors, in turn breaking Haku's mask. Recognising Haku from earlier, Naruto regained his senses in time to stop himself from killing Haku.

Physical Prowess

One of Haku's defining battle-traits was his sheer speed. He was very fast with his attacks, such that Sasuke could not follow his actions until he had reawakened his Sharingan. Upon that moment, Zabuza was shocked that Haku would actually lose to Sasuke in terms of speed. His speed is so tremendous that he was able to quickly close the gap between Zōri and Waraji and take their swords from them before either of them realised what had happened. His speed increased to incredible levels using his Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals, making it appear like he was in all the mirrors at once at one point while he was just travelling in between them at extraordinary speeds. It was such that he could launch several senbon from all the mirrors, looking like he was literally in all of them.

Not unlike Zabuza, Haku was highly proficient with the Silent Killing, able to effectively strike down enemies within zero visibility, in some cases in perfect unison with his teacher. As he would fight mainly with senbon from a distance, Haku showed dangerous accuracy, able to effectively hit any key body points of his chosing to instantly kill or sedate a target. As shown in a few circumstances Haku was also quite strong, such as being able to carry Zabuza's body a safe distance without losing speed and breaking Gatō's arm by simply tightening his grip around it. Haku had noticeable taijutsu skill, able to effectively block a kick from Might Guy and Rock Lee in unison. Haku also had the ability to perform hand seals with only one hand, a skill that amazed even Kakashi.

Nature Transformation

Haku's most noticeable power was the utilisation of water and wind nature manipulations to create Ice Release.[10] His power over ice granted him special techniques, like the Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals, which surrounds a target with mirrors that Haku could travel between and attack from, even if his opponent is in the sky. During his flashbacks of his youth in the anime, Haku was shown to release large spikes made of ice when he was about to be killed by his father. Defensively, he could create an ice dome that is capable of blocking multiple explosive tags at once. Furthermore, it has been implied that Haku could affect the weather, causing localised snowfall. He could also use his two elements individually, such as his Thousand Flying Water Needles of Death, which would use his water nature to concentrate the surrounding water into needles to attack enemies from all angles.

Intelligence

Haku possessed a very detailed knowledge of human physiology, thanks to Zabuza's former Anbu training. His knowledge was great enough that he could disable an opponent with acupuncture by hitting a precise point on the body with a senbon, to cause immediate death or a temporary appearance of such. Haku was also very keen-minded, as he had been shown to have great observational and analytical abilities, capable of quickly determining a way around an opponent's technique or strategy. Haku also appears to have knowledge of some animals as he was able to detect the Allied Shinobi Forces' Surprise Attack Division based on the unusual flight pattern of the birds Sai had made. Haku also knew a lot about herbalism, as he often collected plants to use for medical purposes.

歴史|History

Born in Kirigakure, Kirigaya Kazuto was adopted by his aunt and uncle a year after his birth when his biological parents died in an accident. Due to the father being from Amegakure, Kirito has the ability to use Rain. Raised by his foster parents as a son, he originally trained with his cousin in the neighborhood kenjutsu dojo under their grandfather's tutelage. The unique thing about Kirito was that he was born with unique markings on both of his palms in form of diamonds that overlapped each other. A person who saw those hands said that it was quite rare to have that ability and it granted a person to absorb chakra into limitless space and release it out in form of flames like things. Everything was going alright for a few years and Kirito finally made some friends in his academy school as he was instructed to join due to his skill in Kenjutsu. But one day, some missing ninja came out of nowhere and took down the friends as they were in his way, even Kirito would have been killed if not for his skills in Kenjutsu. The horrors of that incident haunt him everyday, this incident changed the way of thinking of Kirito. He finally decided that he would train himself a lot so that he could protect himself but also decided that he would no longer have friends and would just become a solo ninja.

After the decision has been made, Kirito sought out to look after teachers who would teach him in their own ways. For this to work out, Kirito decided to leave his village and go on a long journey, wherever it might lead him to. After months and years of wandering around here and there will finding out new stuff, he finally came by Konohagakure where he found the village to be unusually hyper active. He liked the way the village functioned and decided to continue his studies and training within that village. Fortunately, the Kage of Konohagakure was a Dark Release user himself and seeing that ability present with Kirito, took him under training and also allowed him to become a villager of Konohagakure.

« Lightning Specialty »

Seeing the power that the element of Lightning held within it, Kirito took it up as his primary element and trained in it so hard in his journey that he finally gained the ability to perform all the lightning techniques by just weaving a single hand seal. This also gave him a special perk of resisting the paralyzing effects of Chidori Nagashi, which would normally paralyze any living being hit by it.

Dark Release (冥遁, Meiton) is an advanced kekkei genkai that can be used to absorb, manipulate, and release chakra taken from an opponent or technique. This rare Kekkei Genkai originates from Kirigakure and all ninjas born with it have a special mark in their hands. This mark resembles two diamonds, one overlapping the other and is the key to their abilities. The mark is essentially a "portal" to a separate space within the user that can contain a virtually infinite amount of energy/chakra, where one square is the pathway into the mark and the lower square the pathway out of it. Much like a Sealing Technique, the mark works by manipulating and absorbing chakra and drawing it into itself through the upper square. When "inside" the mark, the chakra can be converted into a raw form of chakra that can then be released and used. The chakra absorbed cannot be accessed and is stored separately from the users own Chakra Network. This means that even potentially harmful chakras such as Senjutsu Chakra, can be absorbed safely. The user can also make use of this ability to absorb chakra directly from an enemy. The absorption ability is done through techniques designed for this purpose that differ from the techniques used for the releasing abilities. The rank and strength of what can be absorbed depends on the rank and strength of the absorption technique used. The chakra released, while very similar to raw chakra, is actually denser and stronger than raw chakra, resembling in some aspects, Fire Release.

Kirito is highly proficient in both Kenjutsu and Taijutsu due to his early age training in the neighborhood Kenjutsu dojo. The way he reacts to his opponent's moves can be unpredictable most of the time because of learning the Chop Hanging Rippling Fist which grants the user quick swaying movements. Kirito also practices a separate art within Kenjutsu known as Shigure Souen Ryu which is known as one of the unbeatable fighting styles in the entire world. With this combination, Kirito can be a very deadly opponent at close quarters and must be avoided at all costs. Kirito also has two swords with him which he likes to call «Elucidator» and the «Dark Repulser»

Karin has crimson eyes, fair skin, and the characteristic red hair of the Uzumaki clan which she wears in an unusual hairstyle: her hair is short and spiky on the right side, while longer and straight on the left side. She wears brown glasses, which have a serrated blade hidden in them,[14] and her outfit consists of a lavender uniform that exposes her navel, short black shorts, and long black thigh high stockings with black sandals. Her chest, neck and arms are covered with bite marks that result from people biting her to heal, and all of which are hidden by her uniform.

As she is allied with Hebi, Karin begins to wear a pouch around her midsection, and later a black cloak. When allied with Akatsuki, Karin wears an Akatsuki cloak with a hood instead of a high collar. After the fight with Killer B, Karin briefly put her hair in a ponytail. She is seen wearing a black dress and black-rimmed glasses when it's decided that Taka will go to Konoha.

Karin has a fluctuating personality; she will appear tough and in control at times, to the point of being violent and critical, and at other times will appear highly flirtatious. She possesses a strong dislike towards Suigetsu Hōzuki, whom she attacks whenever he voices his general opinion of her. In the anime, she stated that she was attracted to men based on their chakra quality, and claims that Suigetsu's chakra disgusts her. Sasuke Uchiha's chakra used to dazzle her, but it now scares her, due to it getting colder and darker from his hatred. Naruto Uzumaki's seems to calm and dazzle her as well, making her feel comfortable and relaxed due to it being warm and bright, though she also became scared after sensing an evil chakra within him.

Karin is infatuated with Sasuke since they first met; when he saved her during the Chūnin Exams. In the anime, she has a flashback of when Orochimaru sends her to assist Sasuke in capturing a horde of escaped prisoners. There, she is captivated by the level of Sasuke's chakra and develops an infatuation with him. Karin's infatuation bordered on obsession to the point of fanaticism. For example, when Hebi was recuperating after Sasuke's battle with Deidara, Karin was planning to drug both Suigetsu and Jūgo and then "ravish" Sasuke's unconscious body and it was later revealed that she had kept one of Sasuke's sweat-drenched shirts. Karin didn't make much of an attempt to hide her feelings, frequently suggesting to Sasuke that they should spend time alone. Karin was very angry when the Fifth Mizukage flirted with Sasuke, and called her an "old hag" for it. Despite Sasuke's chakra becoming increasingly "darker", she still found him attractive. However, after he stabbed her in order to kill Danzō and tried to kill her, then even order Sakura to kill her to test Sakura's intent to join him, Karin stated that she no longer cares about him. Karin has also used other's perception of her feelings towards Sasuke to her advantage, feigning mental instability while imprisoned at Konoha to make the guards pay less attention to her. Upon her escape, she furiously beat Suigetsu after following Sasuke's chakra, but with Sasuke's apology and Orochimaru's suggestion, she found herself unable to stay angry. She even puts Sasuke's well-being above her own. Despite not being a combatant of Taka, she rushed into the battlefield when sensing Sasuke was on the verge of death, paying no heed to how strong the enemy was.

歴史|History

Itachi Pursuit Mission

Sasuke recruited her as a member of Hebi. While Sasuke admitted that she might be troublesome sometimes, he also noted that her special abilities made her useful. While Sasuke tried to recruit her, she tried to seduce him. Once the team was completed, Sasuke sent Hebi out in multiple directions to try and locate Itachi Uchiha. While on the search, Karin passed Sakura Haruno, although the two did not acknowledge each other. After Deidara's suicide explosion, the rest of the team regrouped and took Sasuke to an inn to recover. When Karin went out for supplies, she sensed the Eight Man Squad approaching, and warned the team. It was her plan to use Sasuke's old clothing as a means to distract the squad from catching them.

Fated Battle Between Brothers

When they finally got back on Itachi's trail, Karin stayed behind with Suigetsu, Jūgo, and Kisame as Sasuke went ahead to battle Itachi.

Pain's Assault

Hebi, now renamed Taka, later began working with Akatsuki. They were sent to Kumogakure to capture the Eight-Tails' jinchūriki. When they found him, Karin stood on the sidelines and watched the others fight Killer B. When Sasuke was mortally wounded fighting Killer B, Karin immediately rushed to pull the dying Sasuke out of the fight, as Suigetsu and Jūgo kept Killer B busy. As she pulled the swords out of Sasuke's body she exposed her right arm, riddled with numerous bite marks. She then told Sasuke to bite her arm, and as he did, her Heal Bite healed his wounds.

As Killer B got bored and attempted to leave, Karin used her Mind's Eye of the Kagura to locate him. Killer B then used his demonic chakra to charge at her, Jūgo, and Suigetsu, but Jūgo rocketed them away to safety. After Sasuke was yet again critically wounded by Killer B, Karin insisted on reviving Sasuke again. She was stopped by Jūgo, who claimed she didn't have enough chakra to save Sasuke again, so Karin watches as Jūgo transfers his flesh to Sasuke to heal him. When Killer B fully transformed into the Eight-Tails, Sasuke used Amaterasu to quell it. Karin quickly moved all of her team-mates out of the way of one of Killer B's tentacles, but this resulted in her being hit by one, and some of the black flames spread to Karin's cloak. Sasuke used his Mangekyō Sharingan to put them out. Karin was carried to safety by Jūgo. While the team was recovering, Karin briefly put her hair in a ponytail. She noticed that something was wrong with Sasuke, but as he brushed it off, she detected an enemy outside their base, which Sasuke and Jūgo went to investigate.

Five Kage Summit

After Taka recovered, they moved out for Konoha. Along the way they are stopped by Tobi, who convinced Sasuke to go after Danzō Shimura at the Kage Summit. When they arrived in the Land of Iron, they decided to wait until the meeting was over before they attack. Zetsu soon revealed their presence and the Kage mobilise against Taka. When the battle got under way, Karin noticed that Sasuke's chakra was now darker than when in his cursed seal level two state.

When the Fourth Raikage arrived, he instructs C to locate and eliminate Karin, Taka's sensory ninja. Karin hid her chakra to avoid detection, and once C was defeated by Sasuke she again began to look for Danzō's location. By the time Sasuke is able to elude the Raikage, Karin had found Danzō. She informs Sasuke that Jūgo and Suigetsu are still alive, but he said to leave them and had her lead him to Danzō. Danzō fled as soon as they arrived, and Sasuke was forced to fight the Fifth Mizukage and the Third Tsuchikage before he could follow. During the brief confrontation Karin grew concerned with Sasuke's deteriorating chakra levels. When his chakra signature disappeared, she broke into tears, believing him to be dead, with the Tsuchikage turning his sight on her.

Tobi soon appeared with Sasuke in tow before he sent them both to a different realm so she could heal his wounds. He later returned and released them in front of Danzō so that Sasuke could fight him. Karin observed the battle and tried to determine how Danzō was able to survive a series of apparently fatal injuries. She immediately ruled out genjutsu or a clone technique, and eventually noticed that the Sharingan embedded in Danzō's arm closed one by one as the battle progressed. Coupling this observation with frequent descents in Danzō's chakra levels, she learned the secret of his technique. She told Sasuke about it and advised that he keep his distance until Izanagi expired.

Once Sasuke mortally wounded Danzō, Karin healed his injuries. Danzō then took Karin hostage as he refused to die. Karin called to Sasuke for help, but Sasuke stabbed her through the chest in order to pierce Danzō's heart. Sasuke simply commented that, if she can be taken hostage so easily, she was now only a burden to him. Karin collapsed and Tobi suggested that Sasuke finish her off since she had some knowledge of their plans. As Sasuke walked towards Karin, she has a flashback of her first encounter with him at the Chūnin Exams and remembered his smile. She took one last look at Sasuke, wishing to see his smile one more time, before he was about to kill her, but he was interrupted by the arrival of Sakura.

Sakura insisted that she wanted to be with Sasuke no matter what, leading Karin to realise that Sakura too loved Sasuke. Sasuke ordered Sakura to prove her loyalty by killing Karin. This, however, was a lie to make Sakura drop her guard. As Sasuke prepared to kill Sakura, Karin managed to mutter a warning, before Kakashi Hatake arrived to counter the attack. After it became clear that not even his words can alter Sasuke's motives, he ordered Sakura to take Karin away from the area and heal her enough to talk. While still barely conscious, Karin looked up at a sobbing Sakura and pleaded for her to hold in her tears. A tear fell down Karin's face as she sensed a further change in Sasuke's chakra, stating that Sasuke is no longer the person that Sakura once knew. As she asked Sakura what she will do, Sakura didn't respond and, emotionally unstable, returned to the fight despite Karin's warnings.

Later, when Sasuke prepared to fight with Naruto, Karin, sensing that Sasuke is going to over-exert himself again, dwelled on the fact that she was only able to heal him a little from his earlier skirmishes, before catching herself in that thought; in light of the fact of everything that Sasuke had done to her, Karin decided to herself that she was now done with Sasuke. After Sasuke left, Kakashi told her that she was coming with them to Konoha; Karin resigned to her fate as she had no choice, being warned by Kakashi not to try anything. As Karin left with them, she made a special note of Naruto's character, apparently hearing of him before.

Fourth Shinobi World War: Countdown

Later, she is interrogated by Ibiki Morino in Konoha to get information on Akatsuki, Sasuke and Kabuto Yakushi. Though she initially wove a tale in which she was a victim of both Orochimaru who she claimed had forced her into hard labour and Sasuke who had unreasonably demanded too much from her, Ibiki saw through it immediately and Karin switched tracks, insisting to be fed a bowl of deep-fried pork cutlets before she would talk. While the other two fussed over making preparations however, Ibiki remained stone-faced. Karin later noted that all the people in Konohagakure seem to all be cheerful and warm, just like Naruto.

Fourth Shinobi World War: Climax

Having been jailed some time after the interrogation, Karin talks to a portrait of Sasuke, first stating that he was cool and then immediately throwing down the picture and cursing him for trying to kill her. This erratic behaviour seemingly has been going on for a while, bewildering the guards. This, however, is revealed to be a ruse, as Karin uses the guard's distraction to pry open the portrait with a hidden blade in her glasses, revealing a lock-pick set.

After escaping from the jail, Karin noticed Sasuke's chakra in the village and couldn't believe that it would be him. She followed the signal just as Taka, Orochimaru and the Hokage prepared to leave for the battlefield, attacking a fleeing Suigetsu over what had happened to her. Sasuke's apology for attacking her was met with a mix of anger and giddy appreciation as she noticed Orochimaru among the group. In the end, she found herself unable to stay angry at Sasuke and forgave him.

Karin, Suigetsu, and Orochimaru later arrived at the battlefield where the five Kage were, with the latter commenting on Tsunade's condition. Karin was then ordered by Orochimaru to assist Katsuyu in healing Tsunade by having the Fifth bite her. However, Karin hesitated because she didn't like anyone other than Sasuke to benefit from biting her. Suigetsu then proved Karin was really interested in Sasuke and pointed that she had already had many bite marks on her even before meeting with Sasuke. This then lead to another brief spat between the two, which was almost immediately stopped by Orochimaru after he had threatened them with his snakes. While healing Tsunade in that state, Karin noted that if Tsunade did not stop biting her soon, she herself might turn old. She later departed with Orochimaru and Suigetsu to the battlefield.

Birth of the Ten-Tails' Jinchūriki

Upon arrival, Karin is almost immediately consumed by her obsession with Sasuke, so much so that she dismissed Suigetsu's observation of the Ten-Tails before catching herself and agreeing with him that the recovery of the shinobi was paramount. While Orochimaru and Taka are hiding from Tobi's giant wooden statue and thinking up a strategy, Karin became distraught upon sensing Sasuke's critical condition, figuring that with no intervention, Sasuke will die. Determined to save Sasuke, Karin joined the battle, manifesting chains to destroy parts of the statue. After being impaled by Tobi's technique, she bit herself in order to heal. Grabbed by Jūgo who removed the stakes, she noted that she was okay, but feared they were too late as she could no longer sense Sasuke's chakra.

As they rushed towards Sasuke's location, Karin sensed a chakra of someone she didn't recognise and alerted her group. Moving even faster as she disregarded her own well being, she rushed to Sasuke's aid. Upon reaching Sasuke, Karin discovered that the mysterious person was Kabuto, whose various modifications to himself made his chakra signature too different for Karin to recognise. Seeing Kabuto merging his being with Sasuke, she quickly became convinced Kabuto harmed Sasuke. Kabuto calmly explained that he no longer desired Sasuke, rather he was healing the young Uchiha. To her shock, she began to sense Sasuke's chakra. Kabuto explained that his experience under the effects of Izanami made him rediscover himself and sought to correct his mistakes. Eventually, Kabuto succeeded in healing Sasuke, who quickly returned to his feet and was ready to resume the battle. Karin and the others present there besides Tobirama were later caught in Madara's Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Kaguya Ōtsutsuki Strikes

Ultimately, she and the rest of the world were freed from the genjutsu by Naruto and Sasuke after they ended the war. Karin's whereabouts after this are currently unknown.

Karin has been praised by Obito as being "useful" for her abilities. They were also the reason why Orochimaru took her with him after he found her. Despite being mostly a non-combatant, Orochimaru himself has referred to her as one of his good experiments, and had enough faith in her abilities to put her in charge of the Southern Hideout's prison, since her abilities made escaping impossible. These skills were later most predominantly shown during the Fourth Shinobi World War.

Sensory Perception

Karin possesses a unique sensory ability known as the Mind's Eye of the Kagura, which allows her to track any targets through their chakra signature. Noted by Kakashi as a particularly skilled sensor-type ninja, Sasuke goes on to state that her ability to sense chakra is unlike anyone else's. Unlike most sensors, who normally require to mould their chakra first, Karin appears able to detect chakra targets without any conscious effort. She can greatly expand her range to detect the presence of others, easily discern whether or not a specific individual are among a crowd, pick up chakra from long distances, and determine if targets are approaching her and how many or what species. She can also determine the size of a target's chakra reserve and potency, and even tell whether or not someone was lying through the fluctuations in that person's chakra made from dishonest emotions. She can also find out if an enemy is using a clone technique, and indicate if someone, including herself, is trapped in genjutsu. She can, similarly, conceal her own chakra from others. However, doing so will render her unable to use chakra, thus disabling her sensing technique.

This ability, unique to Uzumaki Karin, is a much more advanced sensing ability than the normal Chakra Sensing technique. This ability allows Karin to find, sense, and track individuals through their chakra over vast range that exceeds 10 kms. This is done by focusing and opening the mind's eye, which Karin has active at all times. The ability extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including herself, is under a genjutsu, or even if someone is molding chakra for a technique. It can also detect diseases and other harmful effects the user or those within range might be under the effect off. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, Karin can perceive its location and movement with great detail. Even normal chakra suppression techniques are ineffective to hide from this ability.
Note: Its an exclusive ability of Uzumaki Karin bios and is active at all times.

Life Force and Chakra Prowess

As a direct descendant of the Uzumaki clan, Karin has a remarkably powerful life force. This grants her a potentially immense longevity as well as equally strong vitality. As noted by Kabuto, Karin also possesses a unique healing ability which seemingly stems from this powerful life-force. With this power, she not only has incredible regenerative capabilities, by biting herself and consuming some of her own chakra she can heal most injuries, and can heal others by letting another person bite her. The potency of her healing chakra was enough to restore Tsunade's chakra reserves. However, it is dangerous for her to use that ability more than once a day, and as a consequence, she is left with permanent bite marks on her arms, chest and neck. She can also use this ability to heal herself by biting herself.

An ability seemingly unique to Uzumaki Karin, the Healing bite allows her to heal others and herself in a fast manner by allowing them to bite her or doing it to herself. As she is bitten, green healing chakra, similar to that of the Mystical Palm technique, manifests from the bite into the target, healing it. From an outside perspective it seems as if the target is "sucking" her chakra in a vampiric manner as it heals itself. The speed and the quality of the healing property of the technique is in nothing short of even the strongest medical techniques seen so far (like for example, Creation Rebirth) and is only limited by Karin's own chakra reserves.

Known by some members of the Uzumaki clan, this technique is the manifestation of the strongest of chakras within the clan and not a simple Ninjutsu technique. The user is able to focus and materialize chains from their body that can be used for various purposes. However, what makes it a technique that goes beyond the normal Ninjutsu category is that the user can manifest these chains in reality, using them to attack, defend or restrict a given target but can also manifest these chains in his mind, in a purely spiritual field. This enables the technique to act as defense against mental attacks (Genjutsu, Yamanaka Clan techniques, etc) by using the spiritual manifestation of the chains to "attack" the mental intrusion and dispel it. It was this ability that allowed Uzumaki Kushina and Uzumaki Mito to serve as perfect vessels for the Bijuu Kurama, as they could use it to restrict the 9 Tails Demon Fox inside their bodies. When manifested as a Ninjutsu attack, it has both great range and strength. The chains can be used to attack (each chain ends in a kunai-like spear which can be used to pierce a target as a spear or the chains can be used to slam into the target or surround it and "crush" it) or defend (using the same methods) against enemies and techniques but its main purpose is to restrict and contain targets. The restriction effect is achieved partially due to two aspects: their physical strength (which restricts the target physically, preventing it from moving) and their inherent "sealing property". This property enables the chains to have a restriction effect that goes beyond the physical restriction, preventing the target from being summoned, teleporting, etc. This effect can be boosted to a full sealing effect (including the targets ability to mold chakra, etc) if the user spends additional chakra. The effect isn't a sealing technique, however, because it will only work while the user fuels it with chakra, unlike normal seals.

Intelligence

Karin is quite intelligent. During Hebi's hunt for Itachi, she was able to deduce that the Konoha shinobi's way of tracking them was by Sasuke's scent. From this, she quickly came up with a method of throwing them off Hebi's tracks, by tearing up Sasuke's sweat-soaked shirt and tying it to many birds and having them fly in multiple directions. She was capable of quickly deducing the basics of a complex technique such as Izanagi during Sasuke's battle against Danzō. She is also resourceful, as seen during her imprisonment, hiding a blade in the frame of her glasses as well as a lock-pick set within a portrait that she seemingly carries around with her, all the while putting up an act of fluctuating feelings for Sasuke in order to lessen the guards' sense of security on her.

Other Skills

Although she usually takes a supporting role in battles as an unorthodox type of medical-nin, she seems to have some competence in close-range combat which was seen when she tried to attack Danzō Shimura to save Sasuke Uchiha, and also when losing her temper from Suigetsu's taunting.

Edward is small for his age, standing at only 149 cm (4'11") at the beginning of the series, despite his attempts to appear taller. He wears his golden-blond hair long - usually tied in a braid that hangs down to his shoulders, but sometimes forgoing the braid for a simpler ponytail. He parts his bangs in the middle so that they frame his face on either side as they fall and, in the center of the parting, he leaves a single strand of hair sticking up like an antenna. Ed's eye color is quite rare, it is gold in color.

"What was that!? You little brat! say it again! I'll hit you so hard, I'll send you to outer space!"

Ed wears as his trademark a bright red, long-sleeved, hooded cloak whose tail comes down to his upper calves. Emblazoned in black on the back is a Flamel, signifying his tutelage under the master Izumi Curtis. It is likely that Edward fashioned this cloak for himself, as he needs to repair it often. He seems particularly partial to black and will nearly always dress in black trousers and some sort of black shirt under his coat. As part of his attempts to seem taller, Edward is rarely seen without his elevator shoes - black leather boots with thick, red soles. Additionally, he frequently wears white gloves when in public to conceal the fact that his right arm is artificial.

As a result of his accident, Edward was fitted with full steel automail prosthetics. His left leg from just above the knee downward is automail and his automail right arm reaches all the way up to his shoulder; both are designed so that their outer shells resemble modernized plate mail and will be handy when in battles.

On the surface, Edward displays an immature sort of personality. He is decidedly stubborn and strong-willed, frequently letting his pettiness and vindictiveness get the better of him. He is somewhat selfish and remarkably self-absorbed, generally acting more out of self-interest than any sort of philanthropy as well as taking several opportunities to stroke his own ego or flaunt the governmental power and monetary license of his military position. He is largely hostile towards figures of authority and feels little incentive to follow orders with which he disagrees, earning him the distinction of being a loose cannon of sorts. Edward is also rather quick-tempered, resorting more often to steel-fisted violence than calm negotiation to settle disputes. He has a reputation for being foul-mouthed and is an incurably sarcastic cynic, only too happy to bluntly and harshly relieve others of their comfortable delusions regarding god, reality, or their own self-importance. Edward has also displayed a propensity towards impatience and an inability to sit still for long, which perhaps contributes to his love of travel.

However, for those few people who have made an impact on him, Ed shows his deeper nature to be one of marked selflessness, unflinching loyalty, and great compassion. As someone who has had to suffer greatly at such a young age, Edward cannot ignore the true suffering of others and becomes sympathetic upon sensing pain and resolve in people's hearts. Though his solemn advice to such people is often tempered with brusque criticism, it is only because he genuinely wishes to place them on the most direct path forward. As one who has to struggle with a maimed body, he urges those with healthy bodies to use their strong legs to move forward, and as one burdened by the mistakes of his past, he stresses the necessity of people taking responsibility for their own errs. Though he will intervene on behalf of the oppressed if he concludes that a situation has called for it, Ed tends to help only those with the will - but not the means - to help themselves, in which case his recklessness and disdain for authority often has him bending the rules to dole out a Robin Hood-esque justice in accordance with his strong belief in the concept of Equivalent Exchange, earning him notoriety and popularity as a "hero of the people."

"Shorty?! Could a shorty do this?! What else you want to call me: a half-pint bean-sprout midget?! I'm still growing you backwater desert idiots!"

Of course, the most noticeable of Edward's dispositional characteristics is his Napoleonic denial of his shortness. Even in moments of relative composure, any and all references to his stature cause him to violently lose control of his emotions and lash out both verbally and physically. Distinctive to these outbursts is Ed's tendency to take even the most casual mention of his height as a gross insult and interpret it exaggeratedly, mistaking words as simple as "small" for phrases as contrived as "so-tiny-that-he-need-not-fear-being-crushed-by-a-boot-because-he-fits-so-easily-between-the-grooves-of-the-sole" and the like. Those unfortunate to utter the word "small" in his presence are fated to suffer one of his vindictive tantrums.

Though Edward proudly professes that he does not believe in gods, his spiritual sensibilities tend more toward the agnostic than the atheistic; in private, though he does not pray, he frequently acknowledges the existence of a god in his speech, if only to justify why it is that his life has been so difficult.

Ed's aesthetic sensibilities are also quite twisted in that he is a great fan of gothic or macabre fixtures and will usually transmute decorations filled with monstrous or demonic imagery and unnecessarily gaudy details, much to the dismay of anyone who receives a gift or service from him. He has also made it known that his trademark red coat is part of this general lack of taste, as it is "a badass color [that] gets the blood going."

Born to Trisha Elric and Van Hohenheim of Amegakure in the winter, Edward's first few years were relatively happy; but after the sudden departure of his father during the lad's formative years, Ed was left with his mother and younger brother Alphonse as his only family. The special thing about Edward was that he was born with diamond markings on his both of his hands that can absorb and release chakra. The three Elrics lived in peace in the village and the boys began displaying a remarkable talent for controlling chakra at a young age, much to the joyful astonishment of his mother. However, just after a few months, Trisha contracted an illness that had been spreading in the area and died, leaving her two sons orphaned. Being a descent of Amegakure related member (father), Edward has the ability to use Rain.

Edward and Alphonse spent the next few years living on their own in the Elric family home, supported by their close childhood friend Winry Rockbell and her grandmother Pinako. Although they had gained a great deal of information and comprehension regarding the extended basics of the craft, before long it became apparent to the young prodigies that there was only so far they could go while being self-taught. In a stroke of good fortune, Kirigakure was visited by an exceptionally skilled kunoichi named Izumi Curtis who, after some persuasion, agreed to take the Elric brothers on as her apprentices provided they pass a preliminary test. She brought the boys to a Island in the southern region, where she informed them that they were to survive for one full month without chakra manipulation. If, at the end of their ordeal, they could correctly explain the concept "One is All and All is One", they would begin their training under her wing.

For the next five months, the Elric brothers were subjected to Izumi's intensive chakra and physical combat training, growing significantly in both mind and body and gaining a great deal of knowledge before returning to Kirigakure. In their attempt to try out something new in their home, the Elric brothers eventually tried out something beyond their power causing their bodies to disintegrate to an extent. Edward suffered the fate of losing his right hand and left leg while Alphonse's body was partially burnt. Hearing the commotion happening, the household members ran towards their room and were shocked to see the state they were in. The Elric brothers were immediately taken to the hospital where Edward was somehow saved by luck but fitted with useless prosthetics while Alphonse's body was somehow able to recover. Due to this incident, Edward can only use his Dark release powers in one hand.

For the coming of a few years, Edward remained sad and gloomy in the entire period of time just wasting it by staying in a wheel chair. Luckily, fortune knocked on his door step where his relatives informed him that they know of a special type of prosthetic that enables a person to walk around like a normal human, heck, even fight like one. Edward listening to this, took off to that place and finally got hold of the weapon named Automail. But the problem was, no one was medically experienced enough to fit that prosthetic weapon to his nerve endings. So Edward decided that he would go to Konohagakure where he heard that a medical doctor was highly experienced. Upon reaching there, he requested the doctor who gladly accepted the request. The surgery was not a normal one since it was to be fitted directly to the nerves of the limbs. While attaching them, Edward went through excruciating pain that no one else must have felt in their life. Soon after the surgery was done, Edward decided to remain in Konohagakure itself as he felt that most of the villagers were to kind to him.

Lightning Mastery

Edward being totally interested in the element of Lightning due to it's high speed and the power of destructiveness, has trained daily so hard that he reached a level in which he can perform all lightning techniques in one hand seal. This capability also made him immune to Chidori Nagashi.

Fire Affinity

Since Edward was like the destructive type, he seemed to have taken a liking to the Fire element, which is known to cause a ruckus once used properly. Whenever he got the chance, he used Fire and kept on doing it until he achieved a perk. The perk was none other than to perform all the fire techniques which require hand seals, faster than any other average normal shinobi.

Taijutsu

Edward was deemed highly remarkable in the field of Close Quarters Combat. His speed combined with his Automail and the Mandalorian Armor made him the King of Close Combat. During battles, his opponents were highly surprised the speed at which Edward can run. This was all thanks to his vigorous training and determination with which he proceeded to achieve this sort of goal.

Automail

When Edward lost his right arm and left leg in Amegakure, he was just given an artificial limb which disabled him from entering into any sort of battles. Then a relative of his informed him that he knows of a weapon that might aid him. On his way to that place, he came across the perfect thing which he requires to make him move like a normal human being and attack like one while giving him extra abilities. It was nothing else other than the Automail. He took the automail with him to Konohagakure and kindly, Galen Marek did a surgery on Edward attaching the automail to him. The 'machine' is now fitted to Edward Elric and could not be used by anyone else.

Description: Automail is a form of prosthetic used by highly skilled ninjas if they have any missing limb. It is made of up of several alloys and metals so that it is almost indestructible. The founder of this thing was unknown but it was passed on to many people, and eventually fell into the hands of Edward Elric. He took up this weapon to his advantage as he has a missing right hand and a left leg. The user would require to undergo a surgery in order to connect the automail directly to the chakra system and that automail would move like a normal limb with the help of chakra motors present within it allowing free movement. Once the automail has been fitted, it can be used like a normal limb after a few days of rest. The automail can withstand any free form attack and can also withstand any free form sword attacks due to the nature of the automail (the mix of metals and alloys). Because its connected to the chakra system of the user and substitutes his limbs, the automail will behave, in regards to techniques, in the same manner as a normal limb would (it can be used for handseals, to conduct chakra, to release chakra from it, etc etc etc). The automail has two parts and one special ability.

Arm - If a person loses a hand, he is fitted with a automail suitable to him. The hand contains various weapons and can be used freely as the user wishes. Inside the fingers of the automail arm, there are 10 senbons in each finger allowing the user to fire them individually or all at the same time. A socket has been fitted right above the wrist part of the automail which has a hidden blade in it capable of retracting and attacking the opponent. Along with the hidden blade, the automail also has two stick like structures which can take form of a crossbow. The crossbow can be activated with a hands movement and stores about 10 small bows in a socket located right near to the crossbow.

Inside the arm is a one small metallic canon ball. The wrist part can open up giving space for the canon ball to shoot out in any direction it is facing. The speed at which it travels is equal to that of a senbon. In order to trigger the canon, the user focuses his fire chakra behind the location of his canon ball and compresses it in such a way that it would immediately fire off the canon ball, making it quicker and harder to avoid. Due to the high force at work, the arm recoils back pushing back the user a few meters unless he has a firm grip on the ground. The canon ball takes up 20 chakra points and counts as a B-Rank move. The same socket which contains the canon ball can also be used to release a stream of fire that has a reach up to Short range and contains the power of a B-Rank technique.

Leg - The leg automail does not have much functions as the automail arm but provides very useful features. Under the feet of it, it has a piston and a spring inside the automail. When required, the user can activate these both at the same time to help him recieve a sudden boost of of speed in order to evade techniques etc. The direction of the movement depends upon how the leg is placed on the ground. The piston gathers air from the beneath and compresses it within the automail which can be released along with the spring to boost himself into the air. Just like the automail arm, the leg also has a hidden blade underneath the toes which can retract to make a spike like thing appear on the tip of the shoes which can be used to attack the opponent. Since the piston and the spring are located at the middle of the feet, the hidden blade is located at the frontal end of the feet.

Shape Shifting - The user can shape shift the automail by clapping their hands together and touching the place while directing the metal under his own will where the transformation is supposed to take place. The electric charge will be sent into the metal body of the automail which is then used to alter the atoms allowing the user to change the shape of the automail into some other weapons including swords, knives etc.. though the mass of the automail and the weapon created should be the same.

Nagato has pale white skin with straight red hair, a colour owing to his Uzumaki heritage. When he was very young, his hair covered his eyes, preventing his Rinnegan from being visible. When he started training to be a ninja he parted his hair so that only his right eye was covered. After he performs Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique his hair turns white as a side-effect of the jutsu, and it remains white after he is reincarnated. His hair becomes red again when he absorbs some of the Eight-Tails' chakra. Linking with the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path left a number of chakra receivers embedded in his back and caused his body to become very emaciated, limiting his mobility. For this reason he spends most of his adult life in a mechanical walker from which he controls the Six Paths of Pain. He likewise does not personally wear any of the typical Akatsuki clothing, having his Paths wear it instead.

人格|Personality

Nagato was a sensitive child, prone to crying over the sufferings of himself and others. When he met Yahiko he tried to break this habit by following Yahiko's philosophy that crying wouldn't change anything, but the attempt was unsuccessful. Jiraiya later pointed out to him that his sensitivity was actually a strength, as it allowed him to understand pain better and, in turn, be kinder to others. This view resonated with Nagato and caused him to realise that he wanted to take on all of his friends' pain so that they wouldn't have to. It also finally succeeded in ending his crying; when Jiraiya left their group it was Yahiko who cried to see him go, while Nagato only thanked him for all the guidance he'd provided.

In one form or another, Nagato spent his entire life placing the needs of others before his own: his main motivation for becoming a ninja in the first place was so that he could protect Yahiko and Konan; he viewed his role in the original Akatsuki as a powerful tool meant to help Yahiko bring peace to their country; as leader of his own version of Akatsuki, he felt it was his responsibility to save the world from itself, inflicting pains of such magnitude that nobody would ever harm anyone else ever again. While this indicates a growing self-importance Nagato regarded himself with, it was encouraged by the similarly growing esteem others regarded him with due to his Rinnegan: Jiraiya believed he was the reincarnation of the Sage of the Six Paths; Yahiko and the rest of Akatsuki believed he was the "Saviour of the World"; the villagers of Amegakure believed him "God".

As a child that grew up in the middle of other countries' wars, Nagato did not like killing and was horrified by his early acts of violence against those who had harmed his friends and family. He supported Yahiko's Akatsuki because it wanted to end the wars and deaths that he hated so much. After Yahiko's death, Nagato compromised his aversion to killing to a large extent, believing the deaths of specific individuals or even hundreds at a time could be justified if it served a greater and/or long-term purpose. But Nagato remains very clear in this distinction, as he shows mercy to those willing to cooperate with him and discourages others from defying him because it will only force him to strike them down. Minato Namikaze believes that, at some point along the way, Nagato's views were corrupted and subsequently manipulated by Tobi.

Despite the number of personal changes Nagato went through during his life, he always remained fundamentally kind and respectful. With his fellow members of Akatsuki, he mourns those who die in the pursuit of Akatsuki's goals and disapproves of name-calling amongst peers. He extends similar courtesies to his opponents, being honoured to meet one so strong as Kakashi Hatake, despite also being determined to kill Kakashi because that very same strength would inevitably interfere with Akatsuki's plans. For all his kindness, Nagato has a certain prejudice against Konoha because its ninja have played a role in a number of his life's tragedies. He tried to change this opinion because of Jiraiya's positive influence, but ultimately decided that Konoha's successes were predicated on the misfortunes of others.

Despite his conviction in Akatsuki's goals, Nagato is re-convinced of his former pacifism by Naruto Uzumaki, who believes the struggle for peace is worth any personal cost. He is humbled by Naruto's view, and goes from viewing himself as a god to viewing himself as the failed middle volume of a trilogy started by Jiraiya and ended with Naruto.

βackground Info

Nagato lived with his parents in a village on the outskirts of Amegakure. When he was very young, Madara Uchiha secretly transplanted his Rinnegan into Nagato without his or his parents' knowledge. Sometime later, during the Second Shinobi World War, Nagato and his parents took shelter in their home to avoid the fighting going on around them. One day, two Konoha shinobi broke into their home looking for food and Nagato and his parents tried to sneak out unnoticed. When they were discovered, his parents attacked the shinobi so that Nagato could escape. The Konoha ninja killed his parents in self-defence and, upon realising they were only civilians, tried apologising to Nagato. Overcome with grief, Nagato used Madara's Rinnegan for the first time to kill them and avenge his parents.

After burying his parents, Nagato began wandering in search of food and shelter. With resources scare due to the ongoing war, none he met would help him until he was found by Konan and Yahiko, orphans like himself. They banded together, acquired food to survive through any means, and shared dreams of a future where they were in charge and could use their power to eliminate war. Yahiko was particularly passionate about this point, which inspired Nagato to adopt the same goal. In order to accomplish this, the three would need to become ninja. With few options to choose from, they approached Konoha's Sannin and asked to be taught ninjutsu. Jiraiya, guilty over his participation in the war, offered to teach them how to look out for themselves.

Jiraiya found a place for them to live and taught them how to fish, but he would not teach them ninjutsu. While the orphans were out one day, they were found and assaulted by an Iwagakure chūnin. Fearing for his friends' lives, Nagato used his Rinnegan to kill the Iwa-nin. When Jiraiya arrived on the scene to help them, he noticed Nagato's eyes for the first time and was reminded of the legends of the Sage of the Six Paths, the original possessor of the Rinnegan. Because of this, Jiraiya changed his mind and began teaching them ninjutsu. Nagato was remorseful for killing the Iwa-nin, but Jiraiya convinced him that sometimes violence and personal pain was necessary to protect others. In time he even shared his belief that Nagato was the Sage of the Six Paths' reincarnation and that, like the original Sage, Nagato would use his Rinnegan to usher in a world of peace.

For three years Jiraiya trained the orphans. Nagato, because of his Rinnegan, mastered everything he was taught. Once they were able to defeat one of his shadow clones in a fight, Jiraiya decided they were ready to forge out on their own and he returned to Konoha, confident they would bring reform to the country. The three formed an organisation they called Akatsuki, with Yahiko as its leader, and began advocating an end to war. Their message proved popular and they gathered many followers;[15] even Jiraiya would sometimes hear news of their exploits. During the Third Shinobi World War, they were approached by a masked man calling himself "Madara Uchiha", but otherwise known as Tobi. Tobi offered to help them in their pursuits and show Nagato how to unlock the full potential of his Rinnegan. Yahiko refused the offer, suspecting Tobi only meant to use them.

Throughout their quest for peace, Akatsuki's ranks swelled and became known throughout Amegakure, so much so that Hanzō, the village's leader, began to feel Akatsuki threatened his rule. He approached Akatsuki, offering to work together with them to help negotiate with the other warring villages. The next day, at a meeting to finalise the arrangement, Yahiko and Nagato were ambushed by Hanzō and his men, with support from Konoha's Danzō Shimura. Using Konan as a hostage, Hanzō threatened to kill her if Nagato did not kill Yahiko. Unwilling to let Nagato have that on his conscience, Yahiko killed himself, using his dying breath to state his faith that Nagato would change the world. Enraged by Yahiko's death, Nagato took Konan back from Hanzō, though his legs were badly damaged in the process. He then summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and, upon linking with it, used it to slaughter Hanzō's men, though Hanzō himself escaped. Afterwards, Nagato severed his ties with Amegakure by slashing the village's symbol on his forehead protector, no longer wishing to be affiliated with Hanzō's village.

Yahiko's death convinced Nagato that his philosophies about achieving peace were foolish; the world would never willingly end the cycle of death and hatred it had operated on for so long. Only through direct experience of war and all the losses and agonies it brought could anyone truly desire peace. Intending to personally bring that level of despair to the world, Nagato took on the name of "Pain". The damage he'd received from Hanzō and the link with the Demonic Statue left his body frail and deprived him of mobility. With the Rinnegan, he created the Six Paths of Pain out of corpses that he controlled remotely. For the Deva Path he used Yahiko's body — still wanting him to lead the organisation in spirit — and for the other five he used the corpses of other miscellaneous shinobi that, without his knowing it, had met Jiraiya when they were alive. Pain began leading Akatsuki in a new direction, secretly accepting Tobi's earlier offer of support. Akatsuki composed itself with S-rank missing-nin and started offering its services as a mercenary group to ninja villages, earning the money necessary to fund its long-term plans.

Years later and still loyal to his own version of Amegakure, Pain and Konan began a civil war in the village to overthrow Hanzō. Much of the village rallied behind Pain, believing him to be a god because of his immense power. The Six Paths of Pain eventually cornered Hanzō and killed him and all his guards, earning control of the village. In order to prevent anyone from challenging him, Pain proceeded to eliminate everyone even remotely connected to Hanzō, from members of his family to distant acquaintances. Because of Amegakure's already secretive nature, news of Hanzō's death never made it outside of Amegakure and the village was believed to still be divided by the civil war. Pain embraced the villagers' idea of him being God, single-handedly crushing remnants loyal to Hanzō whenever they surfaced and ending Amegakure's perpetual rain every Sunday in homage to Yahiko.

History:

Kazekage Rescue Mission

After Gaara is captured by Deidara and Sasori, Pain convenes Akatsuki to begin extracting the One-Tail from Gaara's body. Konoha ninja start to convene on their location during the three day process, so Pain uses the Shapeshifting Technique to send copies of Kisame Hoshigaki and Itachi Uchiha to distract them. The copies are defeated, but they buy the necessary time and the One-Tail is sealed. As the rest of Akatsuki disperses, Pain instructs Deidara and Sasori to deal with the Konoha ninja that have arrived outside their lair.

Akatsuki Suppression Mission

Following the captures of the Two-Tails and Three-Tails (the Three-Tails is captured later in the anime), Pain once again gathers Akatsuki to seal them. Because Pain's summons interrupted a fight he was in the middle of, Hidan, the second-newest member, demands an explanation of Akatsuki's ultimate goal. Pain obliges him, remarking on the state of the world and how Akatsuki plans to capitalise on that to take control.

Itachi Pursuit Mission

Before Akatsuki prepares to seal the Four-Tails, Pain informs its members of the deaths of Hidan and Kakuzu, as well as news that Sasuke Uchiha has killed Orochimaru. Shortly after the Four-Tails is sealed, Zetsu reports the deaths of Deidara and Tobi in a fight with Sasuke. Pain expresses no love lost over Tobi, but encourages the remaining members of Akatsuki to mourn Deidara. As soon as they adjourn, Pain and Konan meet with Tobi in Amegakure. Tobi instructs him to go after Naruto Uzumaki, the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails.

Tale of Jiraiya the Gallant

Before he can set out in search of Naruto, Pain senses an intruder arriving in Amegakure. He cannot identify who it is, but from their chakra signature he can tell they are powerful. He sends Konan to track down whoever it is while he deploys the Animal Path. A short while later, Konan sends a report that the intruder is Jiraiya. Surprised, Pain bids her to kill him if she can while he moves the Animal Path to intercept. On arrival, he frees Konan from the restraints Jiraiya has placed her under and sends her away. Although Jiraiya does not recognise the body, Jiraiya assumes that Pain is Nagato because of his Rinnegan. Jiraiya expresses his disappointment that Nagato has turned away from his once-righteous path towards peace by leading a criminal organisation like Akatsuki. Pain asserts that, as a god, his plan to liberate the world through destruction is the definition of righteousness.

In response to all of the Animal Path's summons, Jiraiya summons Gamaken to hold them off while he prepares himself. From the safety of his chameleon, Pain sends a multi-headed dog, drill-beaked bird, and giant ox at them, but Jiraiya is able to successfully enter Sage Mode with the help of Shima and Fukasaku. Shima locates and neutralises the chameleon, forcing Pain to summon the Preta Path and Human Path to the fray. Jiraiya quickly blinds the Human Path then attacks with Sage Art: Goemon, which the Preta Path absorbs. He makes separate attempts to attack the Human Path and Animal Path from behind, but both block him. Suspecting their shared vision, Jiraiya withdraws.

The three Paths pursue Jiraiya. They eventually hear the signing of Shima and Fukasaku as they ready a genjutsu. The Paths track them down and try to stop them, but Jiraiya is ready for them. After confirming that they do indeed share vision, Jiraiya distracts the Preta Path and immobilises the Human Path, allowing him to fight the Animal Path one-on-one long enough for Shima and Fukasaku to cast Toad Confrontation Singing. While the Paths are caught, Jiraiya stabs them with Stone Swords and believes they, and by extension Nagato, are dead. As he leaves, the Asura Path attacks him from behind, severing his arm. The full Six Paths of Pain – with the three he defeated restored by the Naraka Path – face Jiraiya. He recognises the Deva Path as Yahiko, causing him to question his assumption that Pain is Nagato.

After a prolonged battle, Jiraiya retreats into his Barrier: Toad Gourd Prison. The Animal Path follows him, but ends up getting captured; as its last act it stabs him with a chakra receiver. Jiraiya contemplates returning to Konoha with what he's learned, but decides this is his only chance to discover the secret of Pain. He returns to the battlefield with Fukasaku and draws the remaining Paths' attention, and in doing so figures it out. The Asura Path crushes his throat before he can tell Fukasaku what he's learned and the other Paths stab him. Believing him dead they start to leave, but Jiraiya uses the last of his energy to etch a coded message into Fukasaku's back. The Paths try to stop him, but Fukasaku escapes and Jiraiya's body sinks into the sea. Pain holds a moment of silence for his passing.

Six-Tails Unleashed

Pain replaces the Animal Path Jiraiya captured with a new body in preparation for finally going after Naruto. In the anime, he is first sent to Kirigakure to capture the Six-Tails. The new Animal Path summons the multi-headed dog to scout the area where the Six-Tails' jinchūriki, Utakata, was last seen. When it comes across a group of hunter-nin led by Tsurugi, it slaughters them all. Utakata eventually comes looking for Tsurugi, but instead finds Pain, who quickly captures him. The Six-Tails is later extracted from Utakata's body.

Other

Nagato's position as the leader of Akatsuki was well-deserved, being its strongest member and, as Pain, being called unbeatable at different points by Konan, Fukasaku, Tobi, and Zetsu. Jiraiya was frightened by news that Pain killed Hanzō by himself, as not even the combined Sannin could defeat Hanzō. Kabuto Yakushi also regarded Nagato (with hindered mobility) as his second strongest reincarnated shinobi, behind only Madara Uchiha. Indeed, it took the combined efforts of Itachi Uchiha (also a reincarnated Akatsuki member), Killer B (a perfect jinchūriki), and Naruto Uzumaki (a nearly-perfect jinchūriki) to defeat Nagato.

Chakra and Physical Prowess

As a descendant of the Uzumaki clan, Nagato's chakra was naturally resilient. His actual chakra reserves were unusually vast, enough that he could perform various, chakra-taxing techniques all in the same day. One of the Fifth Hokage's Anbu bodyguards attributed this chakra supply to his Rinnegan. Nagato could also constantly alter the nature of his chakra to prevent him from being located by sensors.

Following his first fight with Hanzō, Nagato's legs were badly damaged and his body was left frail. This limited his mobility for the rest of his life and rendered his original body largely defenceless. He regained some of his former mobility after being reincarnated and taking some of the Eight-Tails' chakra. When not handicapped, Nagato could rapidly move around a battlefield, closing the gap between himself and his opponents fast enough to force them to retreat.

Ninjutsu

During his training with Jiraiya, Nagato mastered every technique he was taught, covering numerous styles, all of the basic nature transformations, and Yang Release, accomplishments extremely rare even for adults, let alone ten year-olds. Many of the miscellaneous techniques he was seen performing were used to facilitate Akatsuki's meetings, such as allowing members to meet astrally across great distances, protecting the site of their meetings, and distracting opposing forces. One of the more noteworthy exceptions to this was the Rain Tiger at Will Technique, which allowed him to use rainfall to monitor everyone moving within Amegakure.

Nagato could also pinpoint the location of others across great distances, even penetrating beyond barriers erected for the express purpose of blocking detection.

Rinnegan

Nagato's skill in so many types of ninjutsu was due in large part to his Rinnegan. Though he was not the eyes' original owner, being an Uzumaki allowed Nagato to wield both eyes without drawbacks; his skill was great enough to earn recognition as the "Third Six Paths" (三人目の六道, Sanninme no Rikudō).

The greatest advantage of the Rinnegan was the access it gave Nagato to all of the Six Paths Techniques: the gravitational powers of the Deva Path; the menagerie of summons available to the Animal Path; the limitless absorptive potential of the Preta Path; the control over others' souls with the Human Path; the different options of mechanisation in the Asura Path; access to the King of Hell through the Naraka Path. Because of the limitations of his real body, Nagato had few chances to use any of these abilities directly. When the opportunity arose, though, he could shift between the different Paths seamlessly and instantly, performing the many abilities on a level he wasn't capable of when using them through others.

The one branch of Six Paths Techniques that Nagato reserved for himself was that of the Outer Path. As the Outer Path, Nagato could summon and control the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, produce chakra receivers into which he can channel his chakra, and use the Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique to revive the dead.

Roy wears the standard ninja attire beneath his armor which consists of black pants that cutoff at his knees, a mesh undershirt, and a jacket that cut's off a little below his waist and has long sleeves. The sleeves end in what looks like fingerless gloves. The jacket is a mix of white, blue, and black with gold trimmings along the edges. Roy also wears plated armor throughout his person such as on his legs, ankles, and a giant shield-like plate on his left shoulder as well as a armguard on his left arm. There are several pouches on him carrying a multitude of portable ninja tools such as but not limited to, smoke bombs, kunai, shuriken, and senbon. He also wears a decorative headband with an insignia on it to denote his alliance. When used in conjunction with his Mandalore abilities, the armor has the ability to cover Roy entirely and protect him, making it rather impossible to bring him down.

人格|Personality

Roy's personality is something which cannot be depicted by simple words. First of all, he basically does not have any fixed personality on his own due to his care free nature. The only way his personality can be determined is when the situation around him changes which would alter his mood, causing him to see things in a different manner. Roy sometimes seems to be emotionally concerned about his comrades but sometimes bases the things on logic and understanding rather than being full of emotion. Roy can also be angered easily and takes some of the jokes about him a bit serious as he has a less sense of humor. These reasons cause the mood of Roy to change almost all the time and may talk even like an idiot in some situations. Another unique thing about Roy is that, he does not stay still for a long time. If he comes to a place for a while, the next moment he suddenly disappears of into some other place. He has taken a liking towards noodles and prefers to take rest most the time in order to conserve his energy. He is very lazy and of care free nature which is why most of his works turn up very late than they are supposed to be submitted. Being the leader of the Mandalores, Roy has a slight sense of leadership and does not tolerate someone deflecting the clan or talking something ill about it. Even with these personality problems, Roy is usually kind and caring towards his friends and would do anything for their safety.

The End of Happiness

Roy was born to Eliwood and Ninian in a small district village called Lyica, which is a part of five other places that make up Elibe. In Lycia, Eliwood was the ruler and hence, Roy belonged to the noble family. This place is entirely independent of the Great Villages and no interference was supposed to happen between them. Roy lived quite happily during his first years and also made a friend named Lilina, who was the daughter of Eliwood's childhood friend, Hector. The entire continent is in peace for a long time since the war happened.

The Beginning of Chaos

At this point of time, Roy was 15 years old and was studying in a separate academy about the way to battle and how to survive for as long as possible under Cecilia. It was then the horror within the continent started. Bern, the most powerful of the 5 divisions started attacking the other divisions and took control over them. Lycia made an alliance with whatever army was left in the other parts so that they can fend off Bern's future attacks. Upon arriving back in Lycia, Roy finds that the castle is under attack by some bandits who decided to take advantage of the chaos. Eliwood is defending the castle as best he can, but his illness is preventing him from being very effective. Ostia's Princess Lilina, who had gone to Lycia ahead of Roy, is also holed up in the castle. Roy and some of his comrades fought against the bandits and successfully defeated each and everyone of them and made sure that both Eliwood and Lilina were okay.

Furuichi has silver hair, something peculiar about his hair is the bang in the middle of his hair, this comically acts as his "Hot chick detector" and the hair stands on end when Furuichi spots a girl of interest. He is usually seen wearing the high school uniforms of the schools he attends to due to his non-delinquent attitude. He often retains a calm face but when Oga or other characters do something outrageous, he turns insane in a somewhat comical fashion.

Although Furuichi does retain a rational, passive and calm demeanor, he usually reacts in an insane (but often comical) fashion whenever a character does something outrageous. This usually comes as a surprise to the others around him.

He also has an overly wild imagination when it comes to women, always fantisizing about them in a overly perverted manner which earned him his common nickname among the female characters "Creepichi". Despite his desire to hit it off with the ladies, he often fails to please them or get their attention. His attitude changes when women are involved in a situation. Out of sheer instinct, Furuichi acts "cool" in order to impress the woman involved. He is shown to gain some bravery from it, but this often gets him into bigger trouble than he already is in.

Furuichi is the first one to try to think of how to avoid a problem, rather than trying to use force. Due to this as well as his close association with the delinquents despite not having a rough personality at all himself, many mistakenly consider him a "strategist" or "ring leader" for the delinquents. This happens in comical effect since Furuichi rarely does anything of the sort, and these accusations normally land him in trouble.

When fighting against Oga he shows amazing determination, something that Oga notes that he had since long ago. He seems to be oblivious or able to ignore the pain that the power of other people causes him. It is later revealed that Furuichi's happy mask is really just a disguise and he feels hurt by everybody's scorn of him. He tells Oga that being called degrading nicknames and just laughing it off is really no different from being dead.

History:

Furuichi Takayuki was born to some unknown parents in the Land of Bloody Mist, also known as Kirigakure. He was born unique as he had two dark diamonds on each of his hands. He was orphaned at a very young age when both of his parents died and he only had his younger sister to take care of. Furuichi seemed to be very weak and couldn't fight much during his younger age but by living in the rough areas, he somehow managed to develop the power to stand even after getting hit sometimes on his body. Seeking more power, Furuichi enrolled himself into the Ninja Academy and slowly started to learn the new basics of being a ninja and what it's like. Furuichi met his first friend, Tatsumi Oga in the academy and soon after that, they both went to the Academy together everyday making jokes and stuff. Oga used to always beat up people and Furuichi was under the protection of him. Furuichi didn't like this idea a lot and was determined to fight more so he would jump into fights whenever he can and the result was always the same, getting beaten up. Since he was not able to handle this anymore, Furuichi along with Oga go to the Village Hidden In the Leaves where they come across several experienced ninjas. Day by day, Furuichi managed to learn new techniques and get powerful enough in the field of Taijutsu to such an extent that he was able to fend off against some baddies. But the power he gained wasn't enough, he wanted more and with the determination, sets out on his journey to gain the ultimate power.

Lightning Speciality

Over the time, Furuichi became more versatile and adept in the use of Lightning Style jutsu. This allows him to utilize all lightning release techniques with only 1 hand seal. Due to his hard work and training, he is now heavily adept to usage of lightning jutsus and can also resist any damage afflicted by Chidori Nagashi.

Fire Affinity

Not on the same level as his lightning elemental prowess, Furuichi also has a higher skill level when it comes to performing fire Style ninjutsu. He can perform hand seals for fire techniques at a faster rate than a normal ninja due to secondary specialty in Fire Style.

Taijutsu

Furuichi always loved to get involved in the street fights at the streets of Konoha. One day due to some dispute Furuichi challenged his own friend and colleague Oga for street fight and Oga defeated him, but due to performance of Furuichi, Oga accepted him as his disciple, they soon went on to become good friends and under him Furuichi became pretty good at Taijutsu, so much so that he defeated few baddies in the process.

Snake Summoning Contract and Snake Ninjutsu

One day while training in fire and lightning at the outskirts of Konoha, Furuichi stumbled across the home of snakes which were living there. He started observing them carefully and found few of their abilities pretty useful in the fight. Then he found a sensei who helped him sign the snake summoning contract and is learning snake ninjutsu under his guidance.

Deidara had slanted blue eyes and very long blond hair which he wore drawn into a half ponytail with the rest hanging down freely. The bang hanging over his left eye is what concealed his scope signifying that he was a long-range fighter, but, as shown in his fight with Sasuke, it was not permanently attached to his face. He also had mouths in each of the palms of his hands which were used for moulding his clay and under his cloak he wore a utility belt with two bags where he carried all of his clay. Deidara had one of his arms crushed by Gaara's sand, and the elbow of his other arm was blown into another dimension by Kakashi's Kamui. Deidara had his arms restored by having Kakuzu sew what was left of his arms with what appears to be a transplanted arm. His transplant was dark brown and had several wrinkles on it. Under his cloak, he wore a V-neck, sleeveless, midriff shirt with mesh armour underneath it along with pants, stirrups, and sandals.

On the left side his chest he had a large, stitched-up mouth for setting off his self-destruct technique. On his right index finger was his Akatsuki ring, which bore the kanji for "blue or green" (青, ao) and was teal in colour. He wore black nail polish on his fingers and toes.

While joining Akatsuki, Deidara wore a blue and grey kimono jacket with a fishnet undershirt inside and khaki pants with sandals and a belt-like pouch with a chain. His blond hair was also tied into a lower ponytail and an Iwa forehead protector.

After Kabuto reincarnated him, Deidara displayed the black sclerae and darker irides seen in other reincarnated shinobi, due to the talisman placed into his head. Deidara no longer wore his forehead protector resulting in his hair being looser, although it was still kept tied into a ponytail. In place of his previous clothing, Deidara, like the other reincarnated Akatsuki members, wore a red cloak with white lining. During the anime-exclusive Chikara Arc, he originally wore a black robe with red lining before wearing the red cloak for the remaining of his servitude under Kabuto before and during the Fourth Shinobi World War.

人格|Personality

During his partnership with Sasori, Deidara usually showed a cool, and relaxed attitude, never losing his smirk even while fighting an intense battle or when being blamed by his partner. However, his personality seemed to change to some extent after being partnered with Tobi, as he would easily get mad at his partner’s childish and sometimes disrespectful behaviour. He also had something of a sadistic arsonist nature, rather he was not above enjoying a good fight, and he often blew up his opponents in a very brutal fashion. Deidara's most distinctive trait, however, was his love of art. He would respect any form of it, even if it disagreed with his own. Deidara also had a habit of ending his sentences with nasal-like grunts (…うん, …un), roughly translated as "yeah" or "hm". The latter of which is used in the VIZ version. Deidara also seemed to respect the ideals of others as he allowed Gaara to move the sand he used to protect his village into the desert before kidnapping him, even going so far as to admiringly call him noble.

Deidara referred to his explosive ninjutsu as art, usually quoting "Art is an Explosion!" (芸術は爆発だ, Geijutsu wa Bakuhatsu da) and seeing each bomb he made to be a significant accomplishment. He referred to his style as superflat (referring to certain types of art), and claimed pop (another art style) is dead. Deidara's pride as an artist makes him simply unwilling to accept that anything could defeat it, leading to his abandonment of strategy during his battle with Sasuke Uchiha, in favour of tactics that let him show off his art. He was able to recognise stronger opponents like Itachi, although he felt that the Sharingan was inartistic, and despised the fact that he had been enthralled by its genjutsu.

Deidara referred to his partner Sasori as Master Sasori, out of respect for him as a fellow artist. He also admitted, at least outwardly, that Sasori was more powerful than he was. In spite of this, Deidara wasn't above goading his partner, and they frequently argued over the nature of true art (Deidara holding that art is what lasts within a moment while Sasori believing fine art is something that lasts for all time). This reflected their individual fighting styles (Deidara made clay sculptures that exploded; Sasori made long-lasting puppets out of humans). Deidara outwardly seemed to respect Sasori's beliefs, but couldn't resist getting a final jab in after Sasori's death.

Deidara's partnership with his second partner, Tobi, however, was very different. Tobi apparently held great respect for Deidara, and frequently called him "senpai" (先輩, senior). The idiotic front Tobi put up greatly irritated Deidara, who believed that all Akatsuki members should be calm, talking less and acting serious. This in turn results in unintentionally angering Deidara to attack Tobi in a comedic fashion (e.g. blasting him with his explosive clay or strangling him with his legs). But in battle, Deidara puts his issues with Tobi aside to work well with him, telling him to get away when he was about to do a more dangerous attack. Deidara also seemed to have a minor sense of appreciation for Tobi, as shown when he apologised to his partner in his thoughts before he initiated his self-destruction technique.

Kazekage Rescue Arc

Deidara, with Sasori, travelled to Sunagakure to capture Gaara so the Akatsuki can extract Shukaku the One-Tail from him. Getting passed gate security with the help of Sasori's sleeper agent Yūra, taking out any guards watching the sky, Deidara found that the village was artistically worthy of being blown up. Despite the stealthy infiltration, Deidara was quickly confronted by Gaara, who knew he was in the village due to the clay bird he was flying on not matching any species native in the Land of Wind. Deidara was then forced into taking up the defensive, seeing Gaara's abilities to make his opponent worthy of him using his artistic ninjutsu on. Nearly being trapped in a prison of sand pulled from the surrounding desert, Deidara ended up losing his left arm trapped in some of the sand from Gaara's gourd, forcing Deidara to pull what remained of it off to prevent the sand from crushing the rest of him.

Seeing that he was nearly out of clay, Deidara hatched a plan that would end the fight: Using a C3 bomb on the village as a decoy with Gaara left defenceless in his act to protect Sungakure for Deidara to use a clay bird. Though Gaara's sand stops the scheme, Deidara reveals that some of the clay in the arm Gaara took had mixed with his sand. Detonating the clay as Gaara uses his ultimate defense, Deidara abducts his unconscious opponent with Kankurō in pursuit before Sasori gives Deidara time to escape. After waiting for Sasori, Deidara headed out with him to one of their hideouts in the Land of Rivers to extract Shukaku with the rest of the Akatsuki. When Team Kakashi and Team Guy were announced to be on their way to save Gaara, Deidara couldn't help but feel embarrassed about his lack of stealth in capturing Gaara.

When Team Kakashi arrived at their location, Deidara was given a meagre clue from Itachi as to what the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox is like - the one who barges in and barks first. To test Itachi's clue, he sat on Gaara's corpse while waiting for the team, to see which of the shinobi gave a response first. This worked and Deidara, taking advantage of this, left with Gaara's body in order to lead away the jinchūriki, leaving Sasori to deal with Sakura and Chiyo. He was set on capturing Naruto to help him in his quest for greater stimulation to his art sense as he found Naruto to be "a canvas worthy of my artistry". Deidara noticed that Naruto was an extraordinary jinchūriki and felt more interested in fighting him than Kakashi Hatake. He tried to separate Naruto from Kakashi so he could fight Naruto and capture him with several different tactics, but ended up failing each time.

Kakashi tried decapitating Deidara, but only managed destroying his other arm, giving Naruto a chance to retrieve Gaara and knock Deidara into the forest. Handicapped, Deidara was taken by surprise when Naruto appeared behind him and pushed him to the ground, repeatedly pummelling him without rest. Right before Naruto could kill him with a Rasengan; Deidara managed to switch himself with a clay clone and hid in a near-by bush. He watched in amazement as Naruto's anger caused him to enter a two-tailed form before Kakashi reverted it and Chiyo and Sakura arrived. Knowing Sasori must be dead, Deidara could only get in the last laugh about his partner as he prepared to leave. He was caught by Team Guy and forced to flee as he was now heavily outnumbered. Upon remembering his clay bird was still around, Deidara bit off some of it and used another substitution, allowing a Suicide Bombing Clone to take his place in an attempt to both kill his enemies and flee.

Some time later, a battered Deidara emerged from the ground, lamenting of his clone explosive failing before deciding to find his severed arm as it would soon begin to rot. A bit later, Deidara met Tobi and Zetsu after they found his severed appendage, stating he fulfilled his position in capturing Gaara when Zetsu wondered why he did not capture Naruto as well. He then comically tried to choke Tobi to death after being accidentally insulted three times by him when the masked ninja refused to give Deidara back his arm. At some point in time later, Deidara had what was left of his right arm sewn back on by Kakuzu along with a new left arm to replace the one Gaara had crushed.

Deidara was present during the sealing of the Two-Tails, and upon hearing Kakuzu mention he and his partner were heading to Konoha, Deidara warned the two that a very powerful jinchūriki lived there.

Nature Transformation and Explosive Clay

Deidara possessed the Explosion Release kekkei genkai. This allowed him — by simultaneously using two (currently unknown) chakra natures — to give his chakra explosive qualities. Deidara also possessed special mouths in the palms of his hands and on the left side of his chest as a result of stealing and using a powerful kinjutsu from his village on himself. By commonly using these two special abilities in unison, he could create explosive clay: clay infused with his explosive chakra that detonated with the command Katsu (喝) and the seal of confrontation. This clay could be moulded into a wide variety of shapes and forms, growing to large sizes when infused with chakra (with Deidara performing the necessary hand seals), and could be controlled at will. This allowed him to create living explosives to attack opponents at long-range.

Deidara could even create clones from the clay and named Suicide Bombing Clones, that could be a deadly surprise for opponents and if need be create clay minions to control with a cord from a distance. Deidara's clay creations ranged from microscopic to gigantic in size, allowing him to adapt to any situation from creating dragons to shoot smaller clay bombs, to working in conjunction with Obito to lay explosive clay landmines under ground to limit the opponent's movements. And, as an ultimate last resort, Deidara could turn himself into a bomb by devouring explosive clay that has a large blast radius in which he calls his "Ultimate Art". Deidara could also use the clay for other purposes, as he was frequently seen creating birds to be used for transportation which also function as a way to easily infiltrate villages on missions. It seemed he also knew standard earth-based techniques, as shown from his Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique, which he used to avoid damage from one of his mass-scale bombs. However, he could potentially run out of clay if he used too much of it, leaving him vulnerable. Since all of his explosives were earth-based, they were vulnerable to lightning, and most could thereby be defused with lightning-based attacks.

He can also create clones of himself which are incorporated into some of his techniques such as the Suicide Bombing Clone.

C1: Deidara's most basic and versatile form of explosive clay, that is created from a single palm mouth. These are small animated dolls that often resemble animals. Depending upon which variation is created, they will retain the abilities of the creatures they were modelled after, i.e. those resembling birds can still fly. This feature combined with their little independent explosive power, makes them excellent for covert operations. He can produce and release a significant number of them at high speeds.

Insects and spiders: common bombs.
Birds: projectile bombs, used in larger sizes for transport and aerial scouting.
Snakes and centipedes: underground bombs, usually used to immobilise the opponent.
Fish and jellyfish: underwater bombs.
Human-like creatures: puppet-like bombs, usually used for physical fights.
Bats: used somewhat like homing bombs.

C2: One of Deidara's specialities that requires the use of both of his palm mouths, creating a large dragon. The dragon itself is capable of flight, and, while Deidara is safely on its back, the dragon can spit out smaller clay figures that attack the opponent like guided missiles.

These independent missile-like creatures take the form of a greatly reduced version of the larger dragon that created them, however, despite this decrease in size they are still relatively larger than a normal person. Each is capable of tracking their intended target and producing a significant explosion proportional to size upon contact but as they emerge, they consume a substantial amount of clay from the original dragon, initially extracting it from the creature's tail. This ultimately limits the number that each C2 "Dragon" is capable of creating, before clay must be sacrificed from more vital areas, such as the body or wings. By using more clay, the missile's size and explosive power can be substantially increased.

The dragon can also produce clay mines at the expense of clay, that take the form of small spherical creatures, which can be subsequently manipulated to force opponents to fight in a limited space. This is achieved through the use of Tobi's Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique, to hide a large amount of these mines underground, without the opponents' knowledge to their exact location. When this tactic is combined with the previously mentioned missiles, it can confine the enemies' movements to such an extent, that they are forced to suffer an explosion.

C3: Deidara's most powerful large scale bomb, that once activated becomes an enormous statue that Deidara drops on his target from above. Its explosive power was great enough to potentially destroy a large portion of Sunagakure.

In its first known demonstration, Deidara had already prepared the explosive clay for this attack. Once activated, the bomb instantaneously increases its proportions before being subsequently dropped, where it extends both its "arms" outwards until they are completely horizontal.

C4: A technique he created to counter the Sharingan and the genjutsu it produces, Deidara uses his own mouth instead of the ones on his hands to create a giant doll in his image. When the doll ruptures, it releases a cloud of microscopic bombs that enter the bloodstream of anyone who inhales them. On Deidara's command, the micro-bombs' detonation causes the victims' bodies to disintegrate at the cellular level; literally turning them into dust. While fighting Ōnoki, Deidara utilises an alternate method of C4 by forming a small, chibi-like clay statue of himself with the mouths in his hands. This technique also earned enough credit to be called a fearsome technique by such a powerful shinobi as Obito Uchiha.

C0

The highest form of Deidara's explosive clay (his "Ultimate Art" (究極芸術, Kyūkyoku Geijutsu)), C0 is a suicide-bomb technique used as a last resort. Deidara reveals a mouth on his chest, which is stitched up. After undoing the stitches, Deidara feeds it a large ball of clay. The mouth on his chest has a direct connection to his heart so a large amount of chakra is built up. It then kneads chakra directly from the meridians of the heart and keeps doing it without interruption until the moment of the explosion. His explosive chakra then manifests itself in his veins, flowing through his body. These "veins" then condense into a sphere that slowly cracks open and detonates, producing a unique explosion that covers a ten kilometre blast radius.

Eye Enhancement

Deidara wore a scope on his left eye for long-range observation, and he had trained the eye itself to counter genjutsu, allowing him to see through upto A-Ranks and negate them. When he did this, his pupil would contract. This training was done in order to counter Itachi's powerful genjutsu skills, of which he had a considerable loathing, and wished to defeat if he got the chance. Deidara seems to be able to see long distances without his scope as after being reincarnated, he found enemy shinobi lurking near Tobi's hideout; he still needs to close his right eye in order to use his left eye for long distance vision.

Physical Prowess

As a long-range specialist, Deidara was weaker in close combat, but he was skilled enough to fend off a close combat battle against specialists like Team Guy, despite having lost both of his arms prior to their confrontation (albeit he was completely on the defensive), using only a kunai in his mouth and a variety of techniques in his arsenal to escape close-quarters when necessary. He could also avoid a blitz by Sasuke, though he noted the Uchiha's speed was too fast. Deidara also had great endurance to pain, being able to keep focused after having both his arms torn off. Deidara had slanted blue eyes and very long blond hair which he wore drawn into a half ponytail with the rest hanging down freely. The bang hanging over his left eye is what concealed his scope signifying that he was a long-range fighter, but, as shown in his fight with Sasuke, it was not permanently attached to his face. He also had mouths in each of the palms of his hands which were used for moulding his clay and under his cloak he wore a utility belt with two bags where he carried all of his clay. Deidara had one of his arms crushed by Gaara's sand, and the elbow of his other arm was blown into another dimension by Kakashi's Kamui. Deidara had his arms restored by having Kakuzu sew what was left of his arms with what appears to be a transplanted arm. His transplant was dark brown and had several wrinkles on it. Under his cloak, he wore a V-neck, sleeveless, midriff shirt with mesh armour underneath it along with pants, stirrups, and sandals.

On the left side his chest he had a large, stitched-up mouth for setting off his self-destruct technique. On his right index finger was his Akatsuki ring, which bore the kanji for "blue or green" (青, ao) and was teal in colour. He wore black nail polish on his fingers and toes.

While joining Akatsuki, Deidara wore a blue and grey kimono jacket with a fishnet undershirt inside and khaki pants with sandals and a belt-like pouch with a chain. His blond hair was also tied into a lower ponytail and an Iwa forehead protector.

After Kabuto reincarnated him, Deidara displayed the black sclerae and darker irides seen in other reincarnated shinobi, due to the talisman placed into his head. Deidara no longer wore his forehead protector resulting in his hair being looser, although it was still kept tied into a ponytail. In place of his previous clothing, Deidara, like the other reincarnated Akatsuki members, wore a red cloak with white lining. During the anime-exclusive Chikara Arc, he originally wore a black robe with red lining before wearing the red cloak for the remaining of his servitude under Kabuto before and during the Fourth Shinobi World War.

人格|Personality

During his partnership with Sasori, Deidara usually showed a cool, and relaxed attitude, never losing his smirk even while fighting an intense battle or when being blamed by his partner. However, his personality seemed to change to some extent after being partnered with Tobi, as he would easily get mad at his partner’s childish and sometimes disrespectful behaviour. He also had something of a sadistic arsonist nature, rather he was not above enjoying a good fight, and he often blew up his opponents in a very brutal fashion. Deidara's most distinctive trait, however, was his love of art. He would respect any form of it, even if it disagreed with his own. Deidara also had a habit of ending his sentences with nasal-like grunts (…うん, …un), roughly translated as "yeah" or "hm". The latter of which is used in the VIZ version. Deidara also seemed to respect the ideals of others as he allowed Gaara to move the sand he used to protect his village into the desert before kidnapping him, even going so far as to admiringly call him noble.

Deidara referred to his explosive ninjutsu as art, usually quoting "Art is an Explosion!" (芸術は爆発だ, Geijutsu wa Bakuhatsu da) and seeing each bomb he made to be a significant accomplishment. He referred to his style as superflat (referring to certain types of art), and claimed pop (another art style) is dead. Deidara's pride as an artist makes him simply unwilling to accept that anything could defeat it, leading to his abandonment of strategy during his battle with Sasuke Uchiha, in favour of tactics that let him show off his art. He was able to recognise stronger opponents like Itachi, although he felt that the Sharingan was inartistic, and despised the fact that he had been enthralled by its genjutsu.

Deidara referred to his partner Sasori as Master Sasori, out of respect for him as a fellow artist. He also admitted, at least outwardly, that Sasori was more powerful than he was. In spite of this, Deidara wasn't above goading his partner, and they frequently argued over the nature of true art (Deidara holding that art is what lasts within a moment while Sasori believing fine art is something that lasts for all time). This reflected their individual fighting styles (Deidara made clay sculptures that exploded; Sasori made long-lasting puppets out of humans). Deidara outwardly seemed to respect Sasori's beliefs, but couldn't resist getting a final jab in after Sasori's death.

Deidara's partnership with his second partner, Tobi, however, was very different. Tobi apparently held great respect for Deidara, and frequently called him "senpai" (先輩, senior). The idiotic front Tobi put up greatly irritated Deidara, who believed that all Akatsuki members should be calm, talking less and acting serious. This in turn results in unintentionally angering Deidara to attack Tobi in a comedic fashion (e.g. blasting him with his explosive clay or strangling him with his legs). But in battle, Deidara puts his issues with Tobi aside to work well with him, telling him to get away when he was about to do a more dangerous attack. Deidara also seemed to have a minor sense of appreciation for Tobi, as shown when he apologised to his partner in his thoughts before he initiated his self-destruction technique.

Kazekage Rescue Arc

Deidara, with Sasori, travelled to Sunagakure to capture Gaara so the Akatsuki can extract Shukaku the One-Tail from him. Getting passed gate security with the help of Sasori's sleeper agent Yūra, taking out any guards watching the sky, Deidara found that the village was artistically worthy of being blown up. Despite the stealthy infiltration, Deidara was quickly confronted by Gaara, who knew he was in the village due to the clay bird he was flying on not matching any species native in the Land of Wind. Deidara was then forced into taking up the defensive, seeing Gaara's abilities to make his opponent worthy of him using his artistic ninjutsu on. Nearly being trapped in a prison of sand pulled from the surrounding desert, Deidara ended up losing his left arm trapped in some of the sand from Gaara's gourd, forcing Deidara to pull what remained of it off to prevent the sand from crushing the rest of him.

Seeing that he was nearly out of clay, Deidara hatched a plan that would end the fight: Using a C3 bomb on the village as a decoy with Gaara left defenceless in his act to protect Sungakure for Deidara to use a clay bird. Though Gaara's sand stops the scheme, Deidara reveals that some of the clay in the arm Gaara took had mixed with his sand. Detonating the clay as Gaara uses his ultimate defense, Deidara abducts his unconscious opponent with Kankurō in pursuit before Sasori gives Deidara time to escape. After waiting for Sasori, Deidara headed out with him to one of their hideouts in the Land of Rivers to extract Shukaku with the rest of the Akatsuki. When Team Kakashi and Team Guy were announced to be on their way to save Gaara, Deidara couldn't help but feel embarrassed about his lack of stealth in capturing Gaara.

When Team Kakashi arrived at their location, Deidara was given a meagre clue from Itachi as to what the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox is like - the one who barges in and barks first. To test Itachi's clue, he sat on Gaara's corpse while waiting for the team, to see which of the shinobi gave a response first. This worked and Deidara, taking advantage of this, left with Gaara's body in order to lead away the jinchūriki, leaving Sasori to deal with Sakura and Chiyo. He was set on capturing Naruto to help him in his quest for greater stimulation to his art sense as he found Naruto to be "a canvas worthy of my artistry". Deidara noticed that Naruto was an extraordinary jinchūriki and felt more interested in fighting him than Kakashi Hatake. He tried to separate Naruto from Kakashi so he could fight Naruto and capture him with several different tactics, but ended up failing each time.

Kakashi tried decapitating Deidara, but only managed destroying his other arm, giving Naruto a chance to retrieve Gaara and knock Deidara into the forest. Handicapped, Deidara was taken by surprise when Naruto appeared behind him and pushed him to the ground, repeatedly pummelling him without rest. Right before Naruto could kill him with a Rasengan; Deidara managed to switch himself with a clay clone and hid in a near-by bush. He watched in amazement as Naruto's anger caused him to enter a two-tailed form before Kakashi reverted it and Chiyo and Sakura arrived. Knowing Sasori must be dead, Deidara could only get in the last laugh about his partner as he prepared to leave. He was caught by Team Guy and forced to flee as he was now heavily outnumbered. Upon remembering his clay bird was still around, Deidara bit off some of it and used another substitution, allowing a Suicide Bombing Clone to take his place in an attempt to both kill his enemies and flee.

Some time later, a battered Deidara emerged from the ground, lamenting of his clone explosive failing before deciding to find his severed arm as it would soon begin to rot. A bit later, Deidara met Tobi and Zetsu after they found his severed appendage, stating he fulfilled his position in capturing Gaara when Zetsu wondered why he did not capture Naruto as well. He then comically tried to choke Tobi to death after being accidentally insulted three times by him when the masked ninja refused to give Deidara back his arm. At some point in time later, Deidara had what was left of his right arm sewn back on by Kakuzu along with a new left arm to replace the one Gaara had crushed.

Deidara was present during the sealing of the Two-Tails, and upon hearing Kakuzu mention he and his partner were heading to Konoha, Deidara warned the two that a very powerful jinchūriki lived there.

Nature Transformation and Explosive Clay

Deidara possessed the Explosion Release kekkei genkai. This allowed him — by simultaneously using two (currently unknown) chakra natures — to give his chakra explosive qualities. Deidara also possessed special mouths in the palms of his hands and on the left side of his chest as a result of stealing and using a powerful kinjutsu from his village on himself. By commonly using these two special abilities in unison, he could create explosive clay: clay infused with his explosive chakra that detonated with the command Katsu (喝) and the seal of confrontation. This clay could be moulded into a wide variety of shapes and forms, growing to large sizes when infused with chakra (with Deidara performing the necessary hand seals), and could be controlled at will. This allowed him to create living explosives to attack opponents at long-range.

Deidara could even create clones from the clay and named Suicide Bombing Clones, that could be a deadly surprise for opponents and if need be create clay minions to control with a cord from a distance. Deidara's clay creations ranged from microscopic to gigantic in size, allowing him to adapt to any situation from creating dragons to shoot smaller clay bombs, to working in conjunction with Obito to lay explosive clay landmines under ground to limit the opponent's movements. And, as an ultimate last resort, Deidara could turn himself into a bomb by devouring explosive clay that has a large blast radius in which he calls his "Ultimate Art". Deidara could also use the clay for other purposes, as he was frequently seen creating birds to be used for transportation which also function as a way to easily infiltrate villages on missions. It seemed he also knew standard earth-based techniques, as shown from his Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique, which he used to avoid damage from one of his mass-scale bombs. However, he could potentially run out of clay if he used too much of it, leaving him vulnerable. Since all of his explosives were earth-based, they were vulnerable to lightning, and most could thereby be defused with lightning-based attacks.

He can also create clones of himself which are incorporated into some of his techniques such as the Suicide Bombing Clone.

C1: Deidara's most basic and versatile form of explosive clay, that is created from a single palm mouth. These are small animated dolls that often resemble animals. Depending upon which variation is created, they will retain the abilities of the creatures they were modelled after, i.e. those resembling birds can still fly. This feature combined with their little independent explosive power, makes them excellent for covert operations. He can produce and release a significant number of them at high speeds.

Insects and spiders: common bombs.
Birds: projectile bombs, used in larger sizes for transport and aerial scouting.
Snakes and centipedes: underground bombs, usually used to immobilise the opponent.
Fish and jellyfish: underwater bombs.
Human-like creatures: puppet-like bombs, usually used for physical fights.
Bats: used somewhat like homing bombs.

C2: One of Deidara's specialities that requires the use of both of his palm mouths, creating a large dragon. The dragon itself is capable of flight, and, while Deidara is safely on its back, the dragon can spit out smaller clay figures that attack the opponent like guided missiles.

These independent missile-like creatures take the form of a greatly reduced version of the larger dragon that created them, however, despite this decrease in size they are still relatively larger than a normal person. Each is capable of tracking their intended target and producing a significant explosion proportional to size upon contact but as they emerge, they consume a substantial amount of clay from the original dragon, initially extracting it from the creature's tail. This ultimately limits the number that each C2 "Dragon" is capable of creating, before clay must be sacrificed from more vital areas, such as the body or wings. By using more clay, the missile's size and explosive power can be substantially increased.

The dragon can also produce clay mines at the expense of clay, that take the form of small spherical creatures, which can be subsequently manipulated to force opponents to fight in a limited space. This is achieved through the use of Tobi's Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique, to hide a large amount of these mines underground, without the opponents' knowledge to their exact location. When this tactic is combined with the previously mentioned missiles, it can confine the enemies' movements to such an extent, that they are forced to suffer an explosion.

C3: Deidara's most powerful large scale bomb, that once activated becomes an enormous statue that Deidara drops on his target from above. Its explosive power was great enough to potentially destroy a large portion of Sunagakure.

In its first known demonstration, Deidara had already prepared the explosive clay for this attack. Once activated, the bomb instantaneously increases its proportions before being subsequently dropped, where it extends both its "arms" outwards until they are completely horizontal.

C4: A technique he created to counter the Sharingan and the genjutsu it produces, Deidara uses his own mouth instead of the ones on his hands to create a giant doll in his image. When the doll ruptures, it releases a cloud of microscopic bombs that enter the bloodstream of anyone who inhales them. On Deidara's command, the micro-bombs' detonation causes the victims' bodies to disintegrate at the cellular level; literally turning them into dust. While fighting Ōnoki, Deidara utilises an alternate method of C4 by forming a small, chibi-like clay statue of himself with the mouths in his hands. This technique also earned enough credit to be called a fearsome technique by such a powerful shinobi as Obito Uchiha.

C0

The highest form of Deidara's explosive clay (his "Ultimate Art" (究極芸術, Kyūkyoku Geijutsu)), C0 is a suicide-bomb technique used as a last resort. Deidara reveals a mouth on his chest, which is stitched up. After undoing the stitches, Deidara feeds it a large ball of clay. The mouth on his chest has a direct connection to his heart so a large amount of chakra is built up. It then kneads chakra directly from the meridians of the heart and keeps doing it without interruption until the moment of the explosion. His explosive chakra then manifests itself in his veins, flowing through his body. These "veins" then condense into a sphere that slowly cracks open and detonates, producing a unique explosion that covers a ten kilometre blast radius.

(Kibaku Nendo) - Exploding Clay

Description: This technique was developed from a forbidden technique that Deidara stole from Iwagakure. By using the technique's ability to knead chakra into objects through the mouths in the palms of his hands, Deidara can infuse clay with explosive chakra. He then moulds it into a shape depending on the abilities he wants it to have and spits it out. After moulding the clay, Deidara can enlarge it to various sizes depending on the intended purpose of the clay. Once enlarged, the clay creations can be brought to life and controlled remotely by Deidara, who can then detonate the clay by saying "katsu" (喝) and performing the seal of confrontation. Though the explosives are powerful, they are all earth-based techniques, and as such, can be defused by a lightning technique. The technique varies in strength, depending on how much chakra is put into the creation of this "living" clay objects. This was often scaled and referred to by Deidara as going from C1 to C4, ending with the strongest, C0:
C1 - Deidara's most basic and versatile form of explosive clay created from a single palm mouth. These are small animated dolls that often resemble small birds or insects, though he has once made snakes, fish and some misshapen-like creatures controlled by Deidara through a wire made out of clay which could regenerate themselves, while multiplying. They have little explosive power, making them excellent for covert operations. He can release them at high speeds. Its power varies from C-rank to B-Rank.
C-2 "Dragon" (ドラゴン, Doragon): One of Deidara's specialties; a large dragon, capable of flight. While Deidara is safely on its back, the dragon spits out smaller clay figures that attack the opponent like guided missiles. The dragon also produces clay mines, which are used to force opponents to fight in a limited space. The Dragon itself is A-Rank and its mines and its clay figures are C-rank. It can stay on the field until detonated.
C-3 - Deidara's most powerful large scale bomb, an enormous, roughly human-shaped statue that Deidara drops on targets from above. Its explosive power was great enough to apparently destroy a large portion of Sunagakure. Its S-Rank in strength and produces a Long Range explosion from which the user needs to escape as well.
C-4 - "Garuda" (カルラ, Karura; Viz "C4 Karura"): A giant doll, shaped like Deidara himself. When it ruptures, a cloud of microscopic bombs is released. Impossible to be seen by a normal eye, the victims breathe in the bombs, which then enter the bloodstream. Once there, the countless micro-bombs explode, causing the victims' bodies to disintegrate at the cellular level, literally turning them into dust. According to Deidara, he created C4 for the sole purpose of defeating Itachi. Unlike the other Explosive Clay techniques, Deidara consumes the clay using his actual mouth instead of the ones on his hands and performs the Tiger → Snake → Bird → Snake hand seals, releasing an enormous quantity of explosive clay which then transforms into the gigantic doll. The doll itself can be used to do physical attacks and move about on the field. Its S-Rank in strength. The cloud of clay spreads up to long range, rapidly but the technique can only be used twice in battle.
C0 - "Ultimate Art" (究極芸術, Kyūkyoku Geijutsu): Deidara's most powerful technique; a suicidal technique in which he eats a large ball of clay with the mouth on his chest. This consumes his entire body, condensing the body into a large black sphere with jagged teeth and pupil-less eyes. The sphere then opens up and detonates, destroying everything within a blast that covers the whole battle field. Its explosive power is Forbidden rank, costing 60 chakra points and dealing 120 damage to anything caught in it but it kills the user upon being deployed as it cannot be used by clones.

Eye Enhancement

Deidara wore a scope on his left eye for long-range observation, and he had trained the eye itself to counter genjutsu, allowing him to see through upto A-Ranks and negate them. When he did this, his pupil would contract. This training was done in order to counter Itachi's powerful genjutsu skills, of which he had a considerable loathing, and wished to defeat if he got the chance. Deidara seems to be able to see long distances without his scope as after being reincarnated, he found enemy shinobi lurking near Tobi's hideout; he still needs to close his right eye in order to use his left eye for long distance vision.

Physical Prowess

As a long-range specialist, Deidara was weaker in close combat, but he was skilled enough to fend off a close combat battle against specialists like Team Guy, despite having lost both of his arms prior to their confrontation (albeit he was completely on the defensive), using only a kunai in his mouth and a variety of techniques in his arsenal to escape close-quarters when necessary. He could also avoid a blitz by Sasuke, though he noted the Uchiha's speed was too fast. Deidara also had great endurance to pain, being able to keep focused after having both his arms torn off. Along with his endurance to pain, Deidara also had great physical strength, able to pull himself free from Gaara's chakra-infused sand and sever what was left of his arm at the same time, and dislodge two giant shuriken from his arms using his feet.
